Thankyou, to Amanda, for welcoming my husband, Carl, into your care. Amanda I am pleased that the staff treat Carl with respect and care. I especially want to give a big thank you to Norma, Angela, and Patrick too.. Norma is always aware of Carl’s needs and is so helpful in giving him reassurance. Angela is a multitask employee with her eye seeing everything that is happening and takes charge. She does her job with a big smile and has good activities so that everyone can participate. Patrick always makes me feel comfortable whenever I am in the dining room. I highly recommend Desert Peaks for your loved ones. I highly recommend

Desert Peaks Assisted Living and Memory Care is an absolutely wonderful and well maintained facility with extremely professional personnel. My sister Eliana entered the facility back in 2022. She was a Pediatric Oncology Nurse and devoted her life to children with cancer. She was never married. She was diagnosed with Late Onset Alzheimer's disease. She was placed originally at the Assisted Living area of the complex but within a month, she was transferred to the Memory Care section. She needed more constant care. Every single employee there was very professional and cared for her with much respect, dignity and love. I used to tell them they were my angels. They did not give her special care but they care well not only for her but the other residents. Even though I am in El Paso, Texas which is about an hour away, they kept me abreast of any needs or conditions she required. I used to go visit her every Sunday or anytime they needed my help. I was not very fond of the outside medical support since they were never promptly when she needed medical care. The Administrative Staff of Desert Peaks were outstanding in each and every way. Eli, as we used to call her, passed away in February of this year 2024. Few weeks before, I was advised by the administration to place her under Hospice and it was the best decision I could have ever made. The combination of care between the Desert Peaks and Gentiva Hospice service made the end of her life peaceful and rewarding. I will always have Desert Peaks and all its members in my heart. Eli was a very kind and loving individual and I do not believe she could have been in a better place. I love you guys very much with all my heart! Five Stars are not enough to grade you. You deserve a lot more!

The minute we walked in we knew this was the place for Mom. There are some extremely caring, compassionate people working here. Mom introduces them as her good friends. We've had some struggles getting mom's meds correct but they keep trying. Mom says all the time she likes it there. If mom is happy, we are happy! God bless the caretakers who are overworked and underpaid!!!

As a child of an elderly mother who needed assisted living, it brought me great comfort knowing she lived at Desert Peaks. My mom received amazing care and support from the staff and administrators who were committed to providing the best possible quality of life and environment for her. I can't thank the staff enough for how they made my mom's final years as best as they could possibly be. Thank you!

My mom has been at desert peaks going on 2 years. I can't say enough good things about this facility. The activities director, Angela, is absolutely wonderful. She always has a variety of activities and bus outings. The food is outstanding! Amanda and Jana are helpful with questions and are very supportive with the needs of the residents. Desert Peaks is an incredible community. My grandpa has lived here for over a year and the Staff really cares for him like he's their grandpa. I couldn't recommend this Assisted Living more. Thank you Desert Peaks!

The Desert Peaks staff are caring & lovely people. The care they provided to my dad while he was there for his two years of residency was phenomenal. The facility was clean and usually smelled like the delicious food they prepare & serve their residents who they consider family. My dad enjoyed walking around the rose garden, the dining area, & on occasion joined in the resident activities. He had his own room which was wonderful & their housekeeping staff helped him to keep it clean. He enjoyed "assisting" the staff with their cleaning by sweeping & wiping tables as it gave him purpose & I appreciated that they allowed him to do this. They called me immediately when there were any issues with my dad which I knew meant they were attentive to him. The staff has compassion for their residents & that's something I wanted for my aging dad. They made him laugh & in turn he made them laugh. There were difficult days for my dad as he suffered from dementia, yet the staff could talk to him to calm him down or would know when to just give him time alone in his room to calm himself down. Then they'd be back a short time later checking on him in his room. I always felt comfortable knowing when I left after a visit with him or after one of their fun events for the residents that he was in good hands. Desert Peaks Assisted Facility is a place I have recommended to many people & will continue to recommend as my dad had this beautiful place to call home for the last two years of his life. Thank you Desert Peaks staff for everything you provided to my dad. May God bless you all.

Desert peaks is a family oriented home. Staff seem to work together from administration from kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance and activities. From a smile to knowing every residents name dislikes and likes to social interactions Desert peaks is clean, ALWAYS SMELLS CLEAN, residents receive 1on1 care in their memory care area. FROM THE time you ring the doorbell you are greeted to the time you sign out to leave warm welcoming diverse facility. Worth a walk around for your loving one. Beautiful rose gardens all around, turtle habit to explore the nature. Your choice of alternative food, outdoor activities for your family. Constant loving and care. Most off all staff is consistent. A facility worth taking a look at. All apartments have their own showers, residents have 24 access to all staff peaceful area and friendly faces.
