My mother-in-law Marie P room 904 was at Concord for 2 1/2 years when I say they took great care of her. Her room was clean. She was fed. The doctors were on board. Everything was awesome. I find all the listing are false Listings The listing below is a cover up on the living conditions and style there all different than explain. Poor quality control, Poor food control cold hot food raw cooked food menu of choice food very poor limited portions. Elevators are always out of service for weeks, to many electrical resident carts they fill the elevators so ambulatory people can't use. Resident with bad personal hygiene. Residents smoking in building and in unauthorize area bad for the Un smokers. poor management of building. This is rating of a Nursing Home not an assistant living faculty. Majority listing are different than explained they don't exist. Amenities and services. There is a low limit of resident activities beside Bingo I believe Concord needs to clean-up their Act. Because it is a Nice Friendly home. Needs some tours from the Health Department.

Concord Place staff was a godsend to my family member. It was urgent that she relocate from a four decade stay in an unkept property. A friendly community of neighbors & caring staff is just what was needed. The three meals per day means no worries to the family knowing our love one is properly nourished. Not going to Lie……at first, I was disappointed. Of course, that was the first couple of nights that my 88 year old father moved in. Christine has been the best …she has helped so much. Keeping eyes on my dad and his activity through out the day. Dad is not a social butterfly…but loves to walk the pool. Well, he had no interest. But Christine has set a plan to get him to go. The Health clinic is fantastic, my dad is a bad diabetic and on a lot of pills. Well let me tell you , they have been a GOD SEND!!! I was so confused when he first moved in with his pills. But the Clinic sets everything up to make sure he takes the correct doses and his insulin shots. It has now been 2 weeks this Friday that my dad has been there. It has been challenging for him and me.Christine has been the best …she has helped so much. Keeping eyes on my dad and his activity through out the day FOOD is really good, Staff is awesome!!! Residents are friendly…(some are not) Good oversees bad. And if there is a problem…report to the front desk….they will get on it right away!!! All in all, I'm very happy and satisfied that I picked this facility to make it his new home.!!

Okay just to start this is a very excellent place for your elderly loved ones, and please do not pay attention to the recent negative posts that was posted a year or two ago. Concord Place retirement community is a newly renovated facility for elderly people to have a piece of Mind. A very supportive family oriented close-knit team/staff of people that really care about the well-being of your elderly loved ones. The sales staff and move-in coordinators are extremely helpful in the application process they make the transition move-in process very easy and simple. And also Concord retirement does have supportive living accommodations such as CNA nurses on each floor and also laundry and housekeeping services. And let me also mention that each apartment unit on the supportive living floors are newly renovated with fresh painted walls and carpeting, everything everywhere in this facility is kept clean every day 24/7 365. My mother moved in needing supportive living she's been living there since 2-15-2024 and she hasn't ran into any problems with anyone or anything. JUST to conclude I highly recommend Concord Place retirement community to anyone trying to move into an affordable place to retire as an elderly person especially someone in need of Assisted Living.

My Dad was a resident of Concord for about 4.5 years. He was very, very happy there. Dad was one of the last of his generation of family and friends so had a limited social life.Concord gave him a community to which to belong where he had all kinds of friends and participated in a variety of activities. Dad participated in trivia, bingo, pinochle, poker, and proudly acted in the production of "Check, Please." During Covid, the Concord team devised ways for the residents to stay connected with family while complying with State of IL regulations which both Dad and our family were very grateful for. My Dad was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and loved the Veteran community at Concord. The staff truly cares about the residents - Dad loved them all and they were all very kind to him and very caring towards him. Recent renovations to the facility are well done and quite nice. Concord was a great place for my Dad - he really enjoyed his time there and we were confident that he was cared for and safe.

My father was a resident at concord and it was the best decision I could have made. The meals were hot and made fresh. They always accommodated his dietary restrictions and if he was ill, they delivered them to his room. The staff go above and beyond simply helping them out. They know the residents by name and what room they are in. They even know what medical issues they may have and ask thier doctors schedules and help families keep up to date if any issues occur. If your looking for a facility who will not only watch over your loved one but also get to know them are truly care then concord is the place.

My father is currently a resident at Concord Place. He moved in in Spring 2022. It has been a wonderful experience. I have found the staff to be responsive and knowledgeable. The weekly cleaning ladies are the sweetest and Christine Kray in the office has gone above and beyond for my dad. I appreciate all they do. My dad likes his room, loves the variety of food in the dining hall, and appreciates all the social events even if he doesn't participate in them.

My brother moved into Concord Place almost 6 months ago.He loves it! He says that he has independence with lots of support around him. Although it's a large facility, the staff are friendly and helpful. Most of the staff have been there a number of years, which we feel speaks volumes on quality and commitment. My brother loves the variety of options for meals. He says that it's definitly restaurant quality. There is also a daily calendar of activities that you can choose to participate in. In addition there is a small gym with stationary bikes and a pool. What really gives us peace of mind is the health care services on site. Overall our family is very pleased with Concord Place.

We moved our 65 year old cousin, who needs a walker, into Concord four months ago and we are extremely happy with our decision! The staff is attentive, excellent and very helpful. Having medical help on premises and visiting regularly is a tremendous convenience instead of having to take her to outside appointments. They make every effort to get the residents out of their rooms and stay active plus she loves the food. Had we not discovered Concord Place we would have been paying twice the rental amount elsewhere! We outfitted her freshly painted with new carpeting studio with furnishings from yard and garage sales, thrift stores and online used forums and she loves it! Take the tour and you'll be convinced.

Concord Place Retirement and Assisted living is AMAZING! The staff and residents are engaged, supportive, and diverse; creating a true "neighborhood" within the facility. It's wonderful! My father has a much fuller, healthier, hopeful, lifestyle since moving in. I'm so grateful to the staff for all the hard work each day! I love the residents and seeing him look forward to the day. Concord is a "kind" and safe place. So I feel "at ease" when I leave. At Concord Dad has so many activity options within the building and "off campus". Concord offers several transportation options, stores, exercise. He "hangs out with the guys", has even danced alittle, gone to the movies; and the meals are restaurant style dining or room service. Mind you that's all without me as a chaperone or tagalong. Not to mention Concord offers in-house Dr., PT, OT, etc.; and, with a pull on a cord or call downstairs, Concord's location means there is emergency response to at least 3 area hospitals. Such a relief. I don't "sit shiva" or feel guilty because I have to work. Not anymore! Because my Dad, who has a stage 4 metastasized cancer, afib, early Dementia, survived 2 strokes, etc., is surrounded by caring peers and staff 24/7. Concord's leadership team takes great steps to bring together Seniors with a range mobility, cognitive and support levels. I didn't really know the road we were on when he moved in. Looking back I know we've been blessed to have him at Concord! We've found Dr's, therapist, etc. recognize Concord is a solid place to be; and that's helpful when managing a care plan. Thankfully Concord has a well earned great reputation. But life is more than surviving illnesses. Dad is enjoying more freedom than I thought would be possible with what we've been through. He has renewed motivation, hope, and the encouragement of peers to keep living the best life possible. That is what Concord has given our family - a better life than we imagined each day. I have personal and professional encounters with Concord Place. My brother - in - law called Concord Place home for a few years after he had health struggles. Although he lived independently the options for extra care as he recovered was an amazing help. We were able to step him down in care as he regained strength, cognition, and independence. Having outpatient therapy on site and clinic on site was key to his success. On a professional level I have seen the care and compassion of the staff who are truly committed to the wellbeing and engagement of the residents. There are many groups and social activities and a sense of home without the feeling of institution living. Concord Place is an affordable choice for Indpendent senior living that provides Supportive living with a floor dedicated Veterans.

Tony and Christine are the nicest and most helpful people I have ever encountered. They helped my 72 year old uncle transition so easily into concorde. Which btw I definitely recommend highly. I can't say enough about Concord place. My sister lived there for 5 years and unfortunately we had to place her in a nursing home as her health deteriorated. The staff, Fran, Tony, Christine and the receptionists have been amazing. Anyone who disagrees needs to visit other facilities. Fran and Tony helped me in the transition and spent endless hours finding a place for her to go. Again anyone who has issues with this facility should work 1 day in these communities and see how hard it is. It's easy to point fingers but I guarantee 90% of the world wouldn't last 1 week in the senior care field.

I am so Thankful that my daughters found this lovely place for me to call my home. The staff is so kind and very helpful, they have staff that are here to meet your every need, question or concern. The staff will spoil you, we have fun things to do everyday that will make you laugh, and enjoy life. If you enjoy reading , cozy up w a great book by the fire place, as we have several. Each department is professional, BUT -with a human kindness and compassion touch, that we all need... You are safe here and the suites here are very nice. I personally fixed up my apartment on a small budget and it is so nice, sweet and comfy. They want you to make your apartment your very own. I have assisted some new residents in making there apartments, perfect for them, all on frugal budgets. I am getting ahead of myself. So lets back up please - As you enter Concord Place you will see the brand - spanking * NEW * lobby,dinning room,library,medical offices, as they offer on site Doctors and a medical Staff of fine Nurses, that would be Suzy and Peter. always there to lend a hand or answer your medical needs or questions. Next lets talk about the food and beverage dept. That is Tracey, Chanel and her fine team, the food is excellent and the menu is perfect day or night. They have a fun professional staff of waitresses and waiters and before you know it, the staff will address you by your name. Its GREAT food and plenty of it. They also offer my favorite - ROOM SERVICE !!! We have a exercise room and exercise classes. There are so many - fun- things to do everyday here at Concord Place you must stop by and meet Katie ,she plans the special events like Teas,Proms for Seniors,outings to the zoo, as well as a very full schedule of things to do 7 days a week!!! we have plays,dances,parties and more events . Katie and her special team of volunteers ** um-hum, I am one of those hard working Volunteers, along with all the dedicated Volunteers** that make Concord Place --- Shake,Rattle and Roll and we all work together to help make Concord Place and every resident happy !!! You will meet super nice people here- If your a Veteran, you must a mover and a shaker that is SONIA !!!! Sonia assist the Veterans with paperwork etc and is truly dedicated to the Veterans and the needs of each of her Veterans . There is a special floor for the Veterans and you will never have a better and more dedicated leader than Sonia. Also when you do call or come in-- Talk with Tony !!! Tony will show you around Concord , answer your questions and give you and your family the royal tour, plus Tony is so friendly !!! Also meet with Dave * the Executive Director and Fran * Executive Directer of Concord Place . Both Dave and Fran are dedicated leaders and run a clean,safe,friendly,secure, place for you and for all the residents that are a vital part of our community... Say a friendly hello to Miss. Phyllis @ the front desk. Shes so great @ her job and goes that extra step every time. Plus - she always has a friendly and helpful smile for everyone. Living here is GREAT they have once a week house keeping and some floors offer to do your laundry. There is a nice new and spotlessly clean laundry room in our basement . The CNAs are right here to hold a hand,lend a shoulder and assist you with your meds or other needs. They are filled with compassion and kindness... This place has so much to offer. A contained little city. When my mom stayed there, the restaurant staff was friendly and cordial. Restaurant food was great, I loved coming over and having lunch with my mom. They had movie night, a pool, gym, hair salon, church, a little snack store. They also had scheduled outings and trow great holiday parties where seniors can socialize, in case they have nowhere else to go. I highly recommend it.

I am brand new here at Concord Place retirement ,Its a wonderful place too call my home. So far so good every thing is clean, well maintained, the food is good and getting better,Tracy is in charge of that dept she is doing a really good job. The entire staff is so very - very nice, they are attentive and meet and exceed all your expectations. Anna the move in cord. is on top of every detail. you will love that she is right there for you and your needs... She is a sweetheart. My experience is great here at Concord Place from the front desk staff and the friendly smiles and answering my questions. All your needs will be met. Concord Place is so spacious, and full of great activities! The staff have been very helpful and easy to access. Its wonderful that there is a doctor and physical therapy right on site. My mother has been able to get out a lot in her wheel chair, which is just great. The food is good, too. We enjoy coming over for meals with her. Oh, and PETS ALLOWED!! We searched so hard to find a place where my mother could keep her cat. I feel shes in good hands there, and am grateful for that.
