Been living at the Lexington (now the Roosevelt at Salt Creek) for over four years now. One of the best decisions we have mad
October 2024
It has been our privilege at Senior Helpers to partner with the Roosevelt at Salt Creek for several years. We have had the opportunity to get to know the Roosevelt Staff and Residents very well. Many of the Staff have been there for years, which is a testament to their commitment to the Residents as well as validation of an excellent workplace culture. Both the Staff and the Residents are friendly, welcoming, and highly committed to ensuring that the Roosevelt stands tall as a wonderful community. The Roosevelt at Salt Creek is exactly the kind of community I would want my parents to choose for their next act!

The staff at The Roosevelt at Salt Creek have been outstanding. The sales and marketing team worked with us and our timeframe to accommodate my mom. From the move in to the daily contact with staff, they have done a great job making her feel welcome and at home. The newly renovated apartments and common spaces are very nice, too. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at The Roosevelt at Salt Creek! If you are looking for senior independent living, I recommend you tour their facilities, talk to the staff, and the residents. You'll walk away with them at the top of your list….or maybe a lease in hand.

We have been working with The Roosevelt at Salt Creek for some time now as a move in partner. We work with lots of couples, singles and adult children who have been really pleased with the staff's attentiveness, the beautiful renovations and the dining experience. As a moving and real estate company we work with people from all over and it so nice to hear how pleased they are with their new surroundings and they attention they receive at Salt Creek.

My mom recently moved to The Roosevelt. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and very attentive. The renovations are beautiful. They have responded quickly to any and all questions asked by myself or my mom.

My initial contact with "The Roosevelt" began with two informative and thorough visits with Residency Counselor Julie Wilson. She clearly answered all my questions. The community is a clean, safe environment with a friendly staff. There exists many activities to participate. The Marketing and Sales Move In Administrator Dariela Garcia assures an easy transition to new residency. She continues to personally monitor all residents to assure a positive quality of life. My experience living at "The Roosevelt" exceeds my expectations.

My mom moved here 20 months ago and absolutely hated me. After about 1 month, she was a different person. I can't say enough about how much my mom loved it! From all the daily activities, meals, and a staff of people who were the NICEST, KINDEST, and CARING PEOPLE you could ever meet. The place had everything to offer for anyone who has even a doubt about coming to a senior community!! Sadly, my mom passed a few weeks ago, but she was SO HAPPY with everything that pertained to the Roosevelt. Thank you

I'm a vendor that went to The Roosevelt at Salt Creek today and it was such a warm feeling. As a vendor I have been to many Independent and Assisted homes and they are pretty but felt like a hotel. When I entered The Roosevelt at Salt Creek it had such a warm home feeling . I went to one of the units that is being remodeled and my feeling did not change. With it being new that warm home feeling was still there. I would recommend to visit this home so you can experience what I did my first time going.

I wanted to take a moment and share an email I received from a residents family member Dear Colleen I am writing this email on behalf of my Mother Marilyn Schumacher. Mom has just transferred to Assisted Living - #2007. Mom and her family want to commend the entire Roosevelt Team. We appreciate that you have been helpful in guiding us through the process and always responsive when we had questions. Dariela Garcia has been extremely attentive and with her warm personality has made us feel like we are family. Keosha Hoover has been a huge help on the day-to-day servicing of Mom, from dressing her to personally calling me to inform me of Mom's needs. At night Huyen has been special, caring and being responsive to Mom's needs. Mom is very special to all of us and you have some very special people at The Roosevelt! Thank you Jim Schumache

I’ve worked here for almost 4 years and can’t say enough good things about this place! There is no place like it. I started in the dining room as a server and then eventually moved on to work in Life Enrichment as an activity aide. We do so many fun activities like workouts, bingo, trivia, Spanish classes, lunch outings, nature trips and so much more. The residents are like my second family. There is never a dull moment. If you’re looking for a job or somewhere for a loved one to live, this is the place you are looking for!

It's a great place if you want to wait an hour and a half for your pain meds I did not appreciate that at all

My father has been at Lexington Square of Elmhurst approximately 6 years. I cant say enough good things about this Sr Living facility! The director has managed to basically keep Covid out by following CDC rules. A great thing! Residents still can sit in lobbies visit etc. Dining room now open with smaller nbr of people at tables. The dining room is lovely Always enough choices to choose from. Before Covid they offered many outings to ball games, plays, Architectural river boat tour downtown and more. As things open up Im sure there will be more activities again. The staff and residents are all friendly and welcoming. Our families only regret is my father not moving in sooner. Certainly worth a tour if youre looking.

My mom and aunt are both at Lexington and they love it. The staff are really wonderful and they also enjoy all the amenities. Best decision we made!!
October 2020
Mom and her twin sister just celebrated their 100th birthday at Lexington Square of Elmhurst.. They live separately and have been there 20+years - always an excellent experience. I commend the Lexington team in keeping them safe during COVID. Although we have missed them terribly without indoor access, their prompt and thorough actions and precautions have kept them all safe! Whether you are independent...or require assistance, the staff goes out of their way to help. Thank you, Lexington for caring for our moms and dads as your first concern!
September 2020
My grandma lived at the Lexington for quite a few years. She was so incredibly happy there. The property and building is beautiful, clean, and kept up very well. She loved having her own studio apartment. She was able to live on her own but we were comforted by the fact that staff was available if there were ever an emergency. She fell one day and hit her head and was able to use the emergency necklace they gave her to call staff for help. The staff there is absolutely wonderful and she loved them as well. She used to say that people would complain about the food but she enjoyed it and we even went to eat with her quite a few times there and I thought it was good. They have tons of activities to keep them busy and my grandma was a part of so many different activities there. She was always such a social butterfly and made so many friends at the Lex (as she called it). She passed away there in 2018 but Im very grateful that she was so happy there in her final years. I definitely recommend it 110% if you or a family member are looking for senior living.
August 2019
Great facility, staff and care! My mom spent 30 days in respite care there and was able to get stronger and back on her feet with the help of the PT and nursing staff. She made many friends with whom she will stay in touch.

My dad loved it here. He had a roomy 2 bedroom unit. The staff are outstanding. Lots of activities, never a dull moment. He looked forward to the dances, and trips. There was even a woodworking shop for him. When dad needed help the staff was quick to respond to his every need. What a comfort to me knowing dad would get help if he needed it. When dad got sick they brought meals to his room, and checked on him throught out the day. Whenever he needed assistace, the staff was right there to help. I highly recommed Lexington Square, Elmhurst.
