Our mother moved from another assisted living facility to TerraBella about a year ago and the move was such a positive experience. Previously Mom had taken meals in her room and was pretty isolated. TerraBella insisted that she dine with other residents in the Memory Care section. That led to an improvement in Mom's speech and overall health, we believe. Unfortunately, she passed away in late April, but we are grateful to the staff for the care they provided. I'm sorry to say I don't know the names of many of the caregivers, but Lizzie was one of the members of that team that did an exceptional job. Wanda at the front desk was always kind and welcoming. And Miyah Lewis did a great job communicating.

I am a current resident here. I moved in this Past July. I have a unique situation because I’m a lot younger than most of the residents here. I had to open heart surgery, followed by an I had to open heart surgery, followed by a stroke last year, so I do need extra care. After being here for three months, I can tell that this is not the best place for a family member in need. There are a number of things that are not what you would expect in a facility like this. Yes, every facility has its ups and downs. But I think this place out ranks Every other place. The application process is a nightmare. There is a mountain of paperwork that is involved for being approved. The average cost for the apartments is around $5000 a month. That’s without additional Expenses like if you have your meals brought to you, that’s An additional eight dollars per meal. Some positive things are, they do have a good size apartment for your family member. You can choose between a one bedroom or a studio. They offer things like medication management, three meals a day, laundry, service, housekeeping, activities throughout the day, A gym, a salon and transportation. However, there are issues and things to consider with each one. Starting off with the medication’s, you are required to submit a new order for every Prescription that you have for every medication that you take and send it to the medical director. If you take 17 medication a day, then all 17 medications have to Have a written and signed prescription about your Doctor that explains how the medication is supposed to be Administered. Anytime your doctor makes the slightest change to any One of your medication’s, you are required To have your doctor send that little change in a new prescription order to the medical director so that she can send it off to guardian Pharmacy. That has to be done for all medications you take. Next onto the Three meals a day. The portion sizes are tiny. I can usually finish the meals in about 10 bites. You have to ask to have your food cut up If you cannot do it yourself. You can either order the daily special, which is usually decent or you can order from a number of other things on the menu. You can Ask to have your meals brought to you, but they will charge you eight dollars to do so. Next onto the housekeeping. There is really not much to say, other than they only offer it once a week and they will change your bedding If you need it. Laundry is only once a week. There are activities throughout the day every day however I’m Not one who really gets involved because I like to be left alone. The gym is very small and you cannot go in there unattended. The salon is only open when the stylist is there and she’s only here once every other Tuesday. And then lastly for the transportation. They will take you where you need to go and take you to your doctors appointments. As long As your appointments are within a 10 mile radius and as long as you schedule them two weeks in advance. They will take you to wherever you need to go to any store that you need to go to as long as it’s on Monday or Wednesday. That’s about it that I have to say about this place. If none of that bothers you then it’s a great place to have your family Member stay. Best of luck. TerraBella staff sucks at doing their jobs. They don’t communicate with each other

Both of my parents have been residents of Terra Bella Roswell for 14 months. The size is perfect for them. It is not so big that they get lost or overlooked and it is not so small that they are unable to find people to connect with. All of the staff are welcoming and genuinely happy to see my parents and me and my siblings when we visit. They have worked very diligently to increase the activities and "field trips" that are offered making for a mentally stimulating environment. Management listens to suggestions of residents and implements many of their ideas. We have been very happy there and it seems to be only getting better with new management.

As promised when we moved in, the caregiving is exceptional - Kind, compassionate and very responsive - wonderful teamwork! The food is also delicious, nutritious and with a lot of variety from day to day. My mother has been comfortably at Terra Bella since October of last year, and we're quite happy with the accomodations. Elder care is rarely easy, but the staff handles it with patience, courtesy, and professionalism. It's a very sweet and small community that we feel lucky to be a part of. Also, there is a Wellstar clinic and dentist office literally right next door, adding a lot of convenience. My husband has now been at Terra Bella for 6 1/2 months. I am rewriting my review because I wanted to add more praise to Terra Bell and the staff. My husband arrived with difficult issues. Once accepted the staff jumped in to make sure that he was comfortable and that his transition would be a good one. Now 6 1/2 months later many members of the staff have made an enormous difference in my husband's life day in and day out. They are almost like his family! These people are dedicated to my husband's well being and care. They love what they do. It shows. I am so grateful for these people. Thank you Terra Bella!

I recently admitted my mom to TerraBella. I found the sales/executive staff to be so genuine and caring and the community lovely, but not extravagant. As I met more of the staff managers, I continued to be put at ease. Although transitions like this are extremely difficult by nature, the staff at TerraBella have gone beyond my expectations in helping us feel safe, cared for and valued. After just 1 week we have seen the visiting doctor to review her health/meds and she has begun physical therapy. So happy. I would highly recommend!

I had a loved one that I was considering checking into this facility, but unfortunately they passed before I could do so. I spoke with Daniel Mielch, I believe he was the director, but he made himself more available than anyone else I had spoken with. But I have to say, he made me feel so at ease, that my loved one would be taken take of. I left with a state of peace of mind that I had not experienced in a long time. I would highly recommend this facility. I would also recommend you look for Daniel if you run into a situation, where you come to a point of checking a loved one into a facility like this. Before my loved one passed, I explained to them, where they would be going, and they were actually looking forward to it. I met members of the staff as well, and the entire experience was calming to the both of us. I checked out other facilities, and , I would not consider any other place.

This facility has really experienced a drastic turnaround over the past few months to become one of the best in Roswell. The team there has really helped my mother in many ways, shapes, and forms. Specifically, Krystal, Cynthia, and Andrea have been excellent. The ED Dan took a lot of time to answer any questions as well and has always made himself available. I couldn't suggest this place more. I have toured and met with many places in the area and I was very happy with my choice.

I have found TerraBella to be a very good respite care location for my sister while I am recovering from surgery and a chemo-therapy protocol. The rooms are all very clean and inviting since renovations were completed recently. The staff is very good for my sister since she requires more attention than most. They are all very attentive and helpful. Recently the staff celebrated my sister's 80th birthday with a lovely party. Cake, cookies, lemonade, music and great resident interaction with music and conversation with both staff and residents made it a great day for my sister. The food is very good with quite a good variety at the main midday meal and she has begun enjoying daily activities and participation in a resident's committee giving feedback to the management. My sister has adjusted to the relocation much better than I anticipated, due in large measure to TerraBella staff and quality of the environment there. I recommend TerraBella very highly.

When we needed to find a wonderful place for my 92 year-old mom, I was looking for a safe and loving environment for her. In addition, I wanted it to be small enough that she could be known and learn the facility before she lost any more vision or memory. And, for my mom, it needed to be pretty. Elmcroft delivered on every single point. The doors are locked for security and only family members receive the code to enter. The landscaping in the back courtyard is lovely and inviting. There is a mailbox beside each resident's door where they can receive correspondence without having to locate a box in some mail room. These are small things that show the thoughtful care that my mom received every single day. The staff is so eager to help and make things right. Not every senior will fit the demographic for this assisted living, but I would highly recommend Elmcroft for those who do.
