Atria is a senior residence that the singing group Vocal Ease has been performing at for more than decade. The residence is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We love performing at this venue. Our shows are always well attended with residents that are engaged and happy.

My mom has been at Atria West 86 for almost 2 years. She is very happy, so we are very happy. I have only positive things to say for everything at the Atria. This is a great place and we can be assured that the staff does the best they can on every level. For anyone who needs a beautiful place for a family member, this would be it.

I'm moved in 4 months ago, so far everything about Atria West 86th has been exceptional. The care from the staff is remarkable, the food is delicious and I actually look forward to eating here. I try to participate in all activities. Every week we have amazing trips to Broadway shows, Operas or restaurants. The staff is very friendly and caring.

I give Atria 5 STARS for many reasons on many levels: 1) Location ! Location ! Location ! It is right in the heart of the Upper West Side, convenient to transportation, restaurants, shops, museums, etc. 2) The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I have seen this on several occasions upon visiting friends & family over the past couple of years. 3) There are multiple dining areas with an array of cuisines from which to choose. And ALL are GOOD ! 4) The residential studios I have seen are well laid out and some have spectacular views. And the roof garden is to die for ! 5) There are a myriad of programs offered from morning till night. There is something for everyone - live entertainment, music, movies, lectures, art classes and more. Of the many residences available on Manhattan's Upper West Side, this is the one I would choose without a doubt !

One of the best senior living communities. Before placing our mom at Atria we did our research. We never regret that we chose Atria West 86th. Not all assisted living communities are the same. The staff is tenure and very attentive. The food is delicious and portions are big. They have more than 200 different activities a month. We are so glad that our mom is happy there.

i have been working at Atria for 11 years and i love every day. Staff is really caring. We have more than 200 activities a months for our residents. Lots of trips to Museums, Art Galleries, restaurants and Broadway shows . Every week we have live music concerts that our residents love. Great place to work

I have been at Atria West 86 for eight months. The residence is efficiently run, and services are provided in an organized manner. One member of the staff, Elvira, goes beyond the basic requirements and not only responds quickly to requests, but also reaches out with care to learn what more she can do to assure that the needs and special requests of the residents are met. Elvira makes residents feel that someone cares for them.

I joined Atria West 86 a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it! This upscale senior living facility is conveniently located in a pre war building in the most beautiful neighborhoods of Manhattan. The residents are very pleasant and friendly. All staff members are always helpful, caring, well trained and thoughtful and they treat their residents with respect and care. Every day we work hard and go above and beyond, so our residents feel it like being at home.

Atria West 86 is a unique community set in a beautiful location. There is a charm to the place, whilst emanating an aura of luxury. As a guest Lecturer I visit many communities frequently, and Atria 86 stands out from the rest. I find their staff to be incredibly kind, helpful and caring. Their management has done a great job with programming and activities for an engaging resident community, and Pamela has been a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Atria West 86.

In the six months I have been living at the Atria I have developed an appreciation for many of the executive staff and the vast variety of tastes they try to cater too. While I am in the younger of their residents at 68. The programs they offer are enjoyable and I truly wish the food was more consistent. I think the best meals they offer at dinner are the lamb chops and their shrimp scampi. The building is maintained in good fashion and I love the fact they have two pianos. Due to Covid restrictions it is hard to find new qualified employees. Things that I have seen improvement in are the executive staff, building maintenance, response time in repairs, the laundry service, and some of the wonderful musical programs and some of the field trips. Bravo on your improvements.

Very nice assisted living in NYC. The 1 train is 2 blocks away, the food is good, the staff cares and the place is clean. They keep residents informed and they have all kinds of programs for the day. Respect is big in Atria. Entertainment is always posted for the interested. Trips and movies too . The 3 elevators makes it easy to get to any floor. The dining tables always have fresh flowers. The staff is respectful and courteous. What ever issue may rise, please call the front desk and a live receptionist will listen and fix it. Enjoy your stay

I have a family member who has been living at Atria W. 86 for almost two years. Time and again we have been impressed with everyone who works there. The management - especially Heidi and Bill - have been very responsive to our questions and any concerns we may have. The staff have been kind and thoughtful - even retaining a sense of humor during these particularly challenging 10 months. Throughout the pandemic, Atria has paid strong attention to the safety of its residents and the staff. Policies are strict for anyone who must-is allowed to enter the building and PPE are provided to and worn by the staff. We feel very fortunate for all that Atria has done for us.

My aunt and uncle are so happy to be at Atria...especially since the pandemic. They have lived here for many years and kept their savvy New York lifestyle. Before the pandemic they had so many options to keep exploring the city and enjoying shows and lunches out on the town, that my husband and I are in awe of how much theyre still able to do on their own. Even though places have been shut down, the staff manage to keep them entertained and safe.

Atria West 86 is a beautiful assisted living in the best neighborhood in Manhattan. Whats more, its a great place to work. Throughout the pandemic, I felt safe at the community and always had more than enough PPE. Even before joining the team more than 4 years ago, it was always a pleasure working with West 86 to coordinate safe discharges for my patients in my role as a sub-acute rehab social worker in NYC.
