I can't say enough good about Cedar Ridge. They were very helpful in every situation. The nurse, Samantha treated me like I was her own family and went way out of her way and beyond the call of duty to help me figure things out. The staff were all friendly and met all of our needs. It was what every family should experience if and when the time comes that they have to place a loved one in such a place as this

My Mother has been a resident of Cedar Ridge for 5 years. We have seen a lot of changes through the years, but the most important thing that does not change is how caring the staff and caregivers are. I love that Cedar Ridge has a 24/7 nurses station, Lynn is amazing. The administrative staff is always attentive to my concerns and needs and very quick to respond to them. No place is perfect, but as long as my Mom is happy and well taken care of I am all in.

Im a volunteer and find it very rewarding and the staff is very friendly and always helpful to the residence and volunteers. The residents feel like its like home and family. Anita Geier another volunteer said when she gets to the point that she needs an assisted living she wants to be at Apple Ridge.

My mom was at Apple Ridge in memory care for 8 months. The staff was kind and attentive. She seemed happy and well cared for. She had hospice care at the end of her life and they commented several times that my mom was receiving good care from Apple Ridge.

This has been the best solution to an unfortunate situation. the staff all care very much for their residents. they keep them active thruout the day, not allowing them to stay in their rooms and be stagnant. their meals are preparred by an actual chef and are nourishing and delicious. we have been afforded visiting times on a patio even during the covid issue and staff is helpful throughout the visit. we have close contact with the personal manager for his health and medications status.

Apple Ridge is a lovely place for your loved one. The residents are allowed more freedom compared to some other facilities. Clearly, the caregivers enjoy their work and the residents. You can trust that your loved one will be well-cared for and happy. Apple Ridge is affordable. They also have many friendly volunteers who keep activities fun and festive!

My dad has been resident there over a year now. Wonderful caring staff. I would recommend it to everyone. 07 /16 /19 I just placed dad in Apple ridge memory care. I am pleased with care. He has hygiene issues as well as memory problems. He looks wonderful every time I go there. The CNA's are great.. They as well as several nurses agree he needs to be there. I struggled for several weeks over this decision to move him but decided it was best for him The head nurse for this unit notified me she wanted a meeting. Administration and social services. The head nurse wanted me to move him back to assisted living. Said he didn't qualify for memory care. I spoke with administrator and social worker several times before move and they were supportive. Now they telling me it not a secured unit ( doors have coded entrance pad) and they not responsible if he leaves because alarm only rings 15 seconds.makes no sense to me. Dad keep telling this nurse he going to elope ( he said this every time he placed some where) that why I put him there. Been there 9 days and not tried anything but this nurse kept pushing for dad to leave her unit. He friendly and not violent. Now I have to find other place ??. Too bad really like this place.

The reviews that are 1 star are referring to the nursing home that is connected to our assisted living but we are two separate companies! We are Apple Ridge and they are Woodview. That's why one of the reviews talking about it stinking and not looking like the pictures presented was mistaken for the Assisted Living. This is irritating for us as a company because we are NOT affiliated AT ALL! Please do not review us for them! The newest review of the fruit basket once again has to do with them and not us!

My Dad LOVES it at Apple Ridge Assisted Living. Its a beautiful facility where the staff treat him like family, he loves the food and they have lots of fun activities. Apple Ridge is definitely Fort Waynes best kept secret!
