Yesterday 7/29/26 the Inn featured a Luau and it was fabulous!!! The decorations, the food and drinks and the connections with the staff were absolutely beautiful!! I cannot thank this facility enough for all they did to make the residents and their families, so happy to such a wonderful event They had roasted pork sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, chicken and veggies as well as meatballs and veggies on skewers, cole slaw, a beautiful and elaborate fruit and angel food cake table, a delicious cookie table, cotton candy machine and a slushie truck to get what you wanted!!! I was at a Luau in Hawaii and it couldn’t hold a candle to this event!! The Bar tender in the Tiki Bar was wonderfuleveryone was permitted 2 drinks of either a Pina Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri or a variety of beer!!!! Thank you Whitewood Inn Village, I love and thank you for making my mother’s residence so PERFECT!!! There was no charge for this!!

I came from out of state to visit my loved one, and I was truly impressed with this facility. It is beautiful, clean, and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and made to feel right at home. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive, and it was clear they genuinely care about the residents. They had a wonderful lunch selection, and the live entertainment was fantastic”it created such a fun and uplifting environment. Seeing my loved one in such a caring place gave me great peace of mind. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care and a compassionate staff.

My mother was a resident at Whitewood for over 10 years. As a Register Nurse, I easily recognized the exceptional nursing care provided. The facility is very modern appearing and Whitewood makes continuous upgrades to the facility. In this new age of perpetual help wanted signs, Whitewood is doing something correct. We never felt any staffing shortages. I would be remiss for not mentioning Michelle, an outstanding aid that was an immeasurable in serving my mothers needs in her final months. Another example, Connie the housekeeper. She was involved with the residents doing the little things to brighten the residents day, all the way to leaving a candy. I also have to recognize Jenny the administrator, Jenn the nursing director, Debbie my go to staff person, and Trent one of the LPN s. In the declining month, one of my mother’s wishes was to never leave her room. She did not want to go any where else. Whitewood made that possible. Thank you Whitewood

This is a wonderful facility with many loving and caring people that make this place really feel like a home. Jennifer Gupta the executive Director there is very kind, she is always striving for the best for everyone and will treat them like they are her own family. She really connects with families and ensures they are well taken care of! The director of nursing Jen Jackson is also amazing with making sure everyone is updated and informed regarding their loved ones and will constantly check on families to make sure the families have the support and needs for each person. Jo Ann the sales director she is just incredible with new families and will walk you through the facility answer any questions you have and ensures everything is an easy process. All of the Nurses and AIDS are incredibly amazing they really put love and care into there work and it really wouldn’t be the place it is without them they treat everyone like their own family and also get close with the families. Everyone from the Inn at White Wood are truly amazing I thank everyone there for being who they are and I recommend this facility to everyone who is in need of care for their loved ones that are in need of care for dementia and in general thank you!!

Having worked in health care myself, and having served as sole caregiver for my mother for several years, I feel very fortunate that I was able to place mom in the memory care unit at The Inn at Whitewood Village when it became necessary. We are fortunate to have a friend who has been a resident for more than a year and who has been very happy at the facility. Since mom's residency began I have been very pleased with the facility, staff, and quality of care. Residents have many opportunities to engage in activities if they are able and choose to participate. I have found the nursing staff to be competent, caring, and attentive, communicating well with me regarding my mother's needs and condition. I am grateful to have been able to place mom at Whitewood, because I know from personal experience, most long-term care facilities do not measure up to Whitewood's standard of care.

I have had my Mom at the Inn at Whitewood Village for a year now. This has been a life saver for not only myself, my brother, but also our Mother. She lives in a great place and is very well cared for along with constant activities to keep not only her mind occupied but keeping her moving. My mother is in the memory care side and does require more assistance than the Assisted Living side. I have highly recommended The Inn at Whitewood Village to others needing a positive place to have their parents in the latter part of their life. Could not be happier with our decision than choosing Whitewood!

Really nice old hotel. Food is great. Service is absolutely stellar, so friendly and welcoming. The pool and hot tub are empty, but whatever, no problem for an overnight stop. The only real issue I had was the smell in the rooms is pretty nasty. They’d be better off tearing up the old carpets and putting in cheap linoleum. 100% recommend.

I would recommend this community to anyone seeking an assisted living. The staff is very friendly and helpful from the administration to the care givers. The community is clean and has good food. The residents all seem happy, up and moving about and well cared for.

My mother has been at Whitewood for a little over a year. I continue to be impressed with the staff and the care they provide for my mom. I have come to know many of them personally and feel very comfortable talking with them about my mom's care. I am confident that she is safe there and well cared for. There are nurses on site 24/7 as well as care staff. The facility is beautiful and well maintained and my mom has not complaints about the food. Compared to other assisted living facilities, this is by far one of the best and I highly recommend The Inn at Whitewood Village.

I am truly grateful for The Inn at Whitewood. From the first moment my brother and I visited, we knew it was the right place for our loved one. Everyone there has been friendly, compassionate and caring. The aides and nurses are wonderful. Joann and the management staff are never too busy to answer a question. The front desk staff is extemely imformative and helpful. I ask A LOT of questions and all were answered quickly and well as we prepared to move our loved one there. The rooms are clean and bright and there is plenty to do!! The meals are nourishing and there is even a weekly happy hour. We are also grateful it is a family-owned facility. We made the right choice in The Inn at Whitewood!

We moved our aunt there six months ago. The place is fantastic! Plenty of activities to keep the residents engaged. Caring staff that are very attentive to the individual needs of the residents. (They also appear to retain their staff which is difficult in today's environment and is key for continuity of care). Food is good. Place is very clean and well maintained. We have dealt with other assisted living facilities for three of our parents and this is tops!

We moved our mom to Whitewood from another facility and it was the best decision we ever made regarding her care. Whitewood is an amazing place. It is beautiful facility with a very warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are wonderful, caring individuals. They know the residents and their preferences, providing individualized care. Mom has been at Whitewood for alittle over two months and she is consistently treated with respect and dignity. They keep residents active and have a nurse on duty 24 hours a day. We looked at several facilities and Whitewood is by far the best in the area. I cannot say enough positive things about Whitewood.

Worst care ever in Memory Care... Untrained aides who spend more time on their phone then helping residents.. Filthy rooms, dirty carpet and broken blinds.. Pills found on the floor repeatedly.. I could go on and on...

We had both my parents at Whitewood until their passing. Its a beautiful facility and the staff is caring and thoughtful. The last few years were difficult with their failing health and limitations brought by Covid, but Whitewood did the best they could under the circumstances.

My dad and I appreciate the efforts made by Whitewood to keep us in touch with my mom throughout this pandemic. The skype calls were very effective and communication was very good with my mom. Whitewood has also made a great effort to keep in-person visitation in place whenever possible, which is so important for my mom (so she can see my dad). Overall, we have been very happy with the staff and facilities at Whitewood and for the care that they have shown my mom. Thank you everyone at Whitewood!!

Many of the nursing staff here have great hearts and are incredibly caring toward their clientele. The business-side of this place is the problem. They will try to wring as much money out of their clientele as possible. I strongly encourage every family member to review their loved one's bill prior to paying to ensure all charges are correct and not egregious. They charged my loved one $12 a day just to wheel them to their meal! It's sad that the people they serve are just a dollar sign to them. I am currently looking to place my loved one elsewhere because of the insane hidden prices at Whitewood.

I recommended this facility to a dear friend because another friend of mine was there five years ago and I was so impressed. My current friend had never heard of Whitewood and was prepared to go in another home. I basically talked my friend into going here. The staff mainly Tracy in my opinion is not respectful because I am just a friend and not family. It's too bad she hasn't learned that sometimes friends care almost as much as their own family does. She is having me rethink my position on this home. I would be reluctant to suggest it to someone else based on her behavior and also how the quality of food has changed. Don't put your memory care loved ones here. At the first sign of dementia advancing they ship the resident off without a family consultation or a 30 day notice. Dietician on staff is a joke. They offer no diebetic/low carb menu or sugar free options. Big turn overs in the STNA / nursing aid staff.
