What a fun place this community is! There are so many activities, so many interesting residents, and such beautiful apartments. The common spaces are freshly remodeled, bright and cheerful. There is a self-serve ice-cream machine available 24/7. There are many resident-run groups and presentations. It is a really nice community, and a wonderful place to live.

The Pearl is a gem of a community. The apartments are fresh and beautiful. The building itself is newly updated and bright and cheerful. The staff is a warm and friendly bunch, and the residents are smart, lively and involved in their community. The activities and plentiful and varied. Exercise classes happen throughout the day; outings and speakers happen on a regular basis. A beautiful art room provides classes and free time to create. There is complimentary transportation. Overall, this a wonderful place to hang your hat and call home.

Favoritism times 100. Was a better facility before the Pearl took over. I used to work here for a little over 4 years, the first 2 were great and then new kitchen employees came in and were lazy. They wanted things to go their way instead of how it was supposed to be. Most of the time they are on their phones and the morning crew was basically doing all the work. Nothing got done even when you talk to management. Very STRESSFUL place to work, SO GLAD I LEFT.

I was thoroughly impressed with my experience at the Pearl. Christian's handling of a barrage of questions asked by my four friends, including an MD, was superb. He wasn't flustered and answered all with aplomb. The various spaces on the tour looked appealing; I am eager to investigate them further. All five of us thought the lunch left a little to be desired. I look forward to the arrival of the new chef. I was pleased that the thermostat in the middle of a wall where I want to hang a large piece of art can be moved. That's good customer service! All in all a good visit.

My mother recently relocated from out of state to The Pearl. When I had my initial tour and met the staff, I knew The Pearl would be an excellent home for my mother. (I had interviewed other facilities but The Pearl "felt right" immediately). The staff made the whole process seamless for such a big, life changing move for an 85 year old woman. Now that she's settled, she is feeling right at home. The staff and their friendliness, and helpfulness has exceeded expectations. Also, there are numerous activities that she has the option to participate in (or not). I think the Pearl staff has really helped to facilitate a warm atmosphere that the residents feel which is so important. My mom has thoroughly enjoyed her new community and the location is awesome which is just added bonus. The quality of the staff and their attentiveness definitely gives me piece of mind. I know my mom is taken care of.

This is been such a positive experience. My mom was so reluctant to leave her home of 40 years (and we were all worried she would be unhappy), but the location, the grounds and mostly the people were so warm and wonderful that within a few months, this became her home. She was able to make her apartment comfortable and beautiful to live in. After 4 months she went back to visit her old home and within a week realized she didn't want to be there anymore, The Pearl was now truly her home, and her happy place. Best staff ever! Can't recommend this place highly enough!

As a senior citizen I feel blessed and privileged to be a resident at The Carillon. It is my home. I have all the comforts necessary to sustain me in this latter part of my life. The apartment is spacious and it has all of the amenities that I would want to enjoy in this stage in my life. I have a large living room, a beautiful kitchen, and adequate bedroom. Indeed all facets of my living arrangements are to my extreme liking. The Carillon has a dining area that allows me to eat therein or they will bring my food to my apartment. The food is outstanding, I would prefer to eat at The Carillon and need not go to a sophisticated restaurant. All the residents have access to the gym which has a heated pool, along with all the heath machinery. It has a library that works on the honor system, books can be taken out and returned as needed. In a very personal way, I love living at The Carillon. The staff is outstanding, and the management has always been amenable to our requests. I would highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone who would like luxurious living during this final phase of life.

Pretty good place honestly for what people pay I thought it would be a little bit nicer. Yes the entrance is Grand and the main area is, but once you go up onto the floors its not all that. I visited a resident in the penthouse and was not impressed. I guess youre just paying for the location, and services. Classified as Independent Living maybe a little assisted living but they really cant handle folks if anything starts happening medically, so this place is ultimately not a long-term solution if your loved one has any sort of medical problems. If you have relatively able-bodied healthy seniors I wish to live in Boulder, this is the destination. Activities are great staff is beyond great and more.

My grandparents moved into the Carillon from their condo in Miami almost a year ago, now. They are super happy, in fact I've never seen my grandfather smiling so much. Also the staff cares about the residents and know them all by name and learn about everyone. In fact, my grandmother recently returned from the hospital, and the staff checked in on her every few hours to make certain all was well, even though they knew there were are givers dropping in, as well as family. That demonstrates a mentality where the well being of the residents takes priority, and isn't something you find everywhere. Also, the event calendar is packed with a ton of activities, and they're well attended, too. There's often a wait list because the community here is very active. My grandparents are constantly going out to shows and concerts, which they didn't do often before, even though they lived close to the theatre, because of terrible traffic and night driving. The units are beautiful, spacious and smartly laid out. Internet hookups are available, and service has been very reliable for both tv and computer. There's also a great selection of fitness and balance classes, and there's also classes and groups headed up by other residents. Apparently they also have monthly meetings with the residents where they listen to all the feedback and find out what might need improvement. Having dealt with other retirement communities, both for my other grandmother as well as when scouting and info gathering this round, I can't recommend the Carillon highly enough. One piece of advice - if you're interested, get on the waitlist now. It took about a year for the right sized unit to become available.
