your organization should be completely ashamed of itself, we just visited edgewater at boca pointe. and residents were quick to warn us about the crazy golf carts that your employees use. they are a slap in the face to every resident that pays to live there. we saw for ourselves they are loud and backfire constantly. in addition the employees abuse them and create such a noisy environment it is unbearable. joyriding and disturbing the residents constantly. I hope someone sues you for this, they can not be legal. they sure are unwanted by the residents. wish people would do their jobs and not turn a once nice place into a dump.

My Mom is a resident and the staff, medical faculty, and administration do a very good job of her. Security is professional and attentive and I feel good they are around. Nicely maintained facility.

Avoid this place, it sounds like a war zone on most days, many seniors have moved on including us because of how bad it had become over the past year. Edgewater is not pet friendly either, the zooped up golf carts that these people use, the pets do not respond well to them. and rarely was there anything to do.a serious lack of activities, so we moved 2 blocks down the road to much quieter place (The Stratford) and with more to do. turned out to be a great move for us.

just about everything has been ok except the noise is really really bad, they have these swamp buggies, yes swamp buggies at a retirement community and they are incredibly loud, whom ever came up with that idea, really did not think this out, and guess what, they are not for the residents they are used by employees, and as any reasonable person would expect when you buy toys like that they will get abused by the help, which happens quite often, sometimes in the middle of the night they wake up the whole building., they certainly are not using them for work, they are used to avoid work and they sure do make a hell of a lot of noise in the process, the noise level from these things is unacceptable, so be careful if you like naps and peace and quiet. or just watching your daytime shows. because a few bad apples have already ruined that.

Very caring staff in this beautiful facility. My aunt lived here for 15 years. She was one of the oldest and longest residents. 102 years old. She died in February and I met many of the staff as we arranged a Celebration of Life for her after the funeral so her friends could share their memories of her with the family. The wait staff and Director of Food Services were very accommodating throughout the entire process, but more important, through her entire 15 years! I have visited other communities and Edgewater is extremely lovely, well maintained and the residents enjoy living there. I met three other women 101 -102 years old, so the lifestyle at Edgewater certainly contributes to a long happy healthy life. Lucille Caine's niece

I think the nursing staff can be a little more pleasant. The way I was treated makes me wonder how are they treating the residents. It's very clean, check on your love ones look around the area. Staff needs more training

My my dad moved in over 2 years ago into independent living and of course, it was an adjustment, although everyone was so helpful. The food was good and now the new chef is even better.wow!!! I run a luxury hotel and cant believe how good the food is for my dad. Management listens and is quick to help if you need anything. I adore the sales people here as well as the aids, physical therapists, drivers etc. An aid saved my dads life when he first moved in after a minor procedure by calling me to say my dad wasnt himself. Really lovely place if looking for a place you can be for the rest of your life. Since a CCRC for non-profit, it has life care. Rooms are nice and many choices. Pets allowed. 1 dog under 60lbs or 2 cats. People are friendly. It is a buy in with monthly rental.

CONSTRUCTION NOISES ARE ALWAYS ONGOING AND VIBRAE THRU OUT BUILDING. WATER IS SHUT OFF FOR TWO OR THREE HOURS AT LEAST ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH.

Haven't been here a long time but the chef is a wonderful human being. His food is out of this world. I never tasted food like this unless I went to a 5 star restaurant. Kitchen staff keep up the hard work and thank you for your hospitality

I’m feeling like 3 stars is generous. The independent living area and even assisted living seem fine but the skilled nursing area has been mediocre at best. Residents wait a long time (20-30 minutes) when they push the assist button regularly. I’ve watched it with my Mom. Honestly, it’s hard to believe I thought his would be a good place for my mom I’m just sad that my mom is here.

Great Nursing care. Nursing assistants get dirt pay. A shame. All Florida hospitals pay care partners lousy, nd they work so hard. Make sure ur loved one reads it the scripts well upon discharge. Cause the doctor that wrote my moms out, messed them up. And put her thru hell.

I went there to visit a friend, the place is very nice and amazing start from the security guy to the receptionist. They take a little time to let you in but it's better for the security of the residents. Good job guys on making this place a paradise in heaven for our senior people. Keep up the great job
