Walker Place has a family feel, comfortably and attractively furnished, clean, small enough for residents to get to know each other. Staff members are friendly and caring, easy to communicate with, making an effort to meet a resident's needs. It is great to have Major Hospital and doctors right across the road. My husband is satisfied with our choice for him.

I visit Walker Place often and the staff is always very attentive and communicate the needs of the residents. The facility is always clean and smells nice. It's always nice to go in and see residents interacting with each other and the staff. Great homelike environment.

The director of sales and marketing Ryan, is the absolute best. He truly cares about the residents and their environment. The activities and rehabilitation services are the best I have seen in any facility in 10 years.

Mom loves her new home at Water Place. Mom spent time at Walker to rehab a broken hip. She told us then, when its time - that's where I want to be. When Mom decided it was time, we worked with the Senior lifestyle Counselor at Walker to start the process. He listened to us, understood our concerns from lifestyle changes, financial issues and everything in between. From the first meeting, we felt we had a new friend, someone looking out for Moms best interests. Nine months later, that has not changed. He always greets us with a smile and a hug. She is treated like family by staff at all levels. Mom enjoys many activities including exercising, dominos, euchre, and more. Mom is active outside of Walker with church, bible study, her knitters group, shopping trips and more! Our family and, most importantly Mom, feel we made the very best decision for this next chapter in Moms life. Thank You to the staff at Walker Place for helping Mom feel safe and full of life in her new home.

My mother was there and I couldn't ask for a more friendly and caring staff. The doctor that came in to see her cared more for her then the doctor she had been seeing for years! There aren't enough words for the gratitude I have for Walker Place and the people there! If you want a place like home and family looking out for your loved ones this is the place!

My mother has been a resident at Walker Place for 4-1/2 years. The love and care shown to her and all of the residents is amazing. They treat them like family. The medical staff takes care of ordering in, managing, and distributing their prescription and otc medications, the kitchen staff provides very tasty and complete meals, the housekeeping staff keep the facility very clean, the maintenance team keep things running in tip-top shape, the hair salon lady does amazing work to keep them clean and looking nice. I could go on but I will just say this, right up to Mom's last day of life, the folks at Walker Place was right there to lovingly meet all of her needs! I highly recommend them for anyone's loved ones.

I can’t say enough good about Walker Place.. my sister is happy and well cared for.. she loves living there. The staff make it fun for her and keep her active . The facility is always beautifully decorated for every season and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I travel 3&1/2 hours to visit her monthly and I’ve always felt welcome by the caregivers. I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of my sister

Walker Place has been a wonderful experience for many of our loved ones. My husbands grand-mother loved her home there and both of our mothers are current residents and love Walker Place as well! The care the staff provides is top notch! Our team makes our residents the single most important thing EVERY day! In what has been the most challenging year in healthcare, we have remained SOLID AT THE CORE...ROOTED IN LOVE. Resident safety is so important to us, but so is quality of life. With the support of Enlivant, we have been able to achieve the perfect balance. Our resident satisfaction is 94% and our employee satisfaction is 92%! These are impressive figures for any year, but exceptionally so for 2020! Check us out! I promise you will no be disappointed.

Walker Place has been home for my mother for two years now, one month after my fathers death. She, my brothers, and I chose Walker Place, after visiting other locations, also. She has gone through many changes, mentally and physically, in those two years. Through it all, Mom has received top-notch care in every way. The staff is amazing, and there is no doubt they all truly care for their residents and the residents families. The facility is always clean. Plus, it feels so cozy and home-like. Through the COVID19 pandemic, they have remained strong in doing what they feel is best for each resident. I know how hard it has been on everyone involved with long-term facilities, including staff, residents, and families, and I am thankful daily for their commitment. Thank you, Walker Place.

Mom has done well at Walker Place because of caring staff. She has had good fellowship with other residents. Eating 3 healthy meals daily has been beneficial for her. She is more active physically than when she lived alone. All in all, Walker Place has been a positive experience for Mom.

Walker Place is a beautiful facility and all of the staff that I spoke with are very friendly. Tracey Tucker was extremely helpful to me and my parents and answered all of our questions, she went above and beyond for us. Would be a perfect place to live.

My mother was only there a short time. She had lost her will to live, While we were heart broken with her decision to go on hospice, we respected her wishes. Our experience at Walker was incredible. The caregivers, every one of them from the top on down. They showed so much compassion and showed our family love and kindness that we never expected. When we moved mom there, we were made promises that we didn't believe anyone could meet, but these people never missed a beat! If you want a great place for your loved one, I highly recommend Walker Place. The rate that they show as the average is not even close to what we paid. Our rate was much lower. That rate is because they take care of people from needing no care all the way up to total care. We were able to let mom pass there, and it was much less than we would have paid in a nursing home in a beautiful home-like environment. Thank you Walker Place, for loving our mother...and US!

I moved into Walker Place 2 years ago, and then moved out because I thought it would be better somewhere else. In 1 year, I was back! I feel loved and welcomed. The staff treats me like I matter..like all of us are the most important people in the world. My room is clean, and the food is really really good every day. I do a lot in activities and I have a great group of friends who do things with me. I know that I have found my forever home and that when I need more help, the staff will be there to help me! We would love to have you as part of our family at Walker Place. If you are looking for a great place...stop in and see what it is all about at Walker Place.
