Would like the residents to be able to go out more..... It was brought to my attention.. that some of these residents have to pay extra to get transportation to appointments if a family member can't accompany them. These residents pay nearly 8-12k per mth.. a simple thing as 1 staff member to ride the bus to accompany them shouldn't be an issue... A family member of mine witnessed an incident a long, long time ago a resident was attempting to get off the bus, the driver expressed concerns for the method the resident want to get on & off the bus... the resident told the bus driver they do it all the time.. the resident ended up falling down... I hope the driver didn't get in trouble & that the resident is ok.. I feel it isn't the drivers fault, as they clearly said didn't want the resident to do it... Coachman as a company shouldnt be allowing residents to go on & off the bus in unsafe manners... I heard its an absolute beautiful place... however... I also heard Outings for residents get canceled constantly, because corporate doesn't wish to spend the $... The family feels soo sorry for the staff, most are extremely nice & go above & beyond what they need to do, but yet dont get paid what they should be getting.. despite the $ the residents pay for that care.. its hard to find ppl that care.. especially if corporations dont care.. & just wanna pretend they are doing everything within their power to give residents the best remaining days of their senior lives... when in reality.. they act greedy behind the scenes... Its just sad.. that seniors get taken advantage of in their old age like this.. & then when their personal $ runs out they get booted out.. they pay for your services, give them the services the deserve... dont be petty.. let them live life.. while they can.. safely... Outside of this, I am told its an absolutely beautiful & homey place...

I am an Aging Life Care Manager. I found Coachman Square for a an aging client and his family. I have found them to be warm, and funny, but skilled in working with this client who has some cognitive decline. Staff have longevity and have seen everything that can be thrown at them. They have worked with this large family for finances. I have found them wonderful to work with and look forward to working with them again.

From the second I stepped into Coachman’s of Woodbridge , I knew this was the place for my aunt! Lesley was beyond comforting , engaging and sensitive to the needs of my aunt who today is in her 90’s. Both Lesley and the staff continue to go beyond the call of duty

Today I had the opportunity to visit Coachman Square at Woodbridge. My first impression was priceless when I met Lesley Pearson, Director of Community Relations. Her welcoming personality, enthusiasm and pride in representing Coachman, was sincere and invigorating. The common spaces were plentiful and offered so many different opportunities for residents to engage and thrive. The apartments were spacious and bright. The warmth of the staff topped off my positive experience.

I brough my mother there for a tour and met with Lesley Pearson. I was so impressed with the tour Lesley gave us. The rooms were nice and large. The bathroom was just what my mother needed since she is handicap. Clean community. So much options for the residents to do. The staff was friendly. The food was amazing. We are definitely considering Coachman Square for my mother. I know she will enjoy living there.

I haven’t had a chance to meet Ms Lesley Pearson in person yet. I only had chances to chat over the phone with her for my friend for various kinds of information. I found Ms Pearson absolutely a sweetheart, very much ready to help. She is also very knowledgeable & very thorough. I feel she is perfect for her current director position and higher beyond. My friend Wina praised about her and the environments in Cochran Square. She found the Community Tour by Ms Pearson very enjoyable, friendly, interesting and very impressive!!!! I just can’t wait to meet her, Ms Pearson, on one of the days that Wina’s husband becomes Cochman resident. Thank you very much for helping Wina out, Ms Pearson!!!! We were thrilled to find Coachman’s Square for my father after researching and visiting multiple facilities. Coachman’s was so welcoming, the food was delicious, there were lots of activities and everyone was treated with respect and kindness. It was also well decorated, clean and in a great location. We were so impressed by the high level of customized care and attention my father received. We would highly recommend Coachman’s Square.

Lesley Pearson is wonderful; she is warm, friendly, patient centered, and professional. She took my husband, our son, and I on a tour and explained every aspect of the facility as well as answered all of our questions. The staff was very welcoming, approachable, and kind. The environment was clean and comfortable. We had a positive experience and left there with a great 1st impression. We are certain our aunt could be happy living there!

My family member enjoys life at Coachman. The facility is beautiful with natural surroundings outside... Lovely grounds where residents may sit outside and well maintained and furnished rooms. There are activities they enjoy and they have made new friends. The staff is friendly and truly cares! They just don't have enough staff to provide the level of assistance needed to be a high level of assisted living facility as initially promised and expected!

My mother - in - law has been a resident at Coachman's Square for almost a year now. She is quite happy living there. She lives in a beautiful, spacious apartment with all the amenities that she could want. The staff at Coachman's have all been very nice to her and our family. There is even a staff member that takes my mother - in - law shopping and to the beauty parlour! There are plenty of activities to keep her busy including exercise classes and musical entertainment. She has already made some wonderful friends that all eat together at mealtimes. The only criticism that my mother - in - law has is that the food could be better. She is happy that there is always an alternative provided besides the prepared meals for the day.

On a scale of 1-10, Coachman Square deserves a 12. The entire staff is warm, caring and engaging, and that translates into a happy, secure living experience for our loved ones. Exactly what I was looking for when my parents needed more care. After five years, the staff has become an extension of our family. The facility is very clean and the food is great. The residents are kept busy with many recreational offerings, trips and carnivals. So if you’re searching for a new home for your loved ones, look no further.. You’ve found it. Thank you Coachmans.

Everything at Coachman Square is top notch! From the beautiful grounds to the outstanding staff to the compassionate and outstanding ED! Coachman Square is a great place. The facility is clean and well maintained. The food is good and there are lots of daily activities for the residents. They have regularly scheduled entertainment and hold family events throughout the year. But by far the best part of Coachman is the staff. They are professional, friendly and caring. It’s a joy to see them interact with my mother in such a personal manner. They’ve really gotten to know my mother and what she needs both physically and emotionally. It’s comforting to know that my mother is so well cared for.

My stepmother was welcomed in to Coachman Square just as the pandemic started raging. The staff have done a terrific job of keeping her safe. They appear to have the residents' best interest at heart. They are very good at communicating with me on issues regarding her well being. The food there is very good. There is a lovely outdoor space in the back for taking walks and hosting events. This place exceeds expectations.

Carol Davino and Coachman Square have provided excellent support to the Town of Bethany Human Services office. Over the years, they have provided the Bethany Senior Citizen community with box lunches, informational seminars, classes and materials for events such as the annual Health Fair, as well as holiday events. It is this type of partnership that allows Bethany Human Services to interact more successfully and effectively with its' residents. It has taken me a while to write this review, as my mom has been @ Coachman for over 4 years. I am actually glad I waited to review the facility, as it takes time to really settle in- not 4 years of course! My mom & I both consider Coachman to be her home now. She is comfortable in her apartment w/ her own furniture & artwork, & has everything she needs. She is also safe, which is a concern for her & for me! We find the staff to be really nice & understanding of why people reside here. We accept the fact that nothing is perfect & that it is impossible to please 100 people (especially elderly people) & their families all the time. We have learned over time not to sweat the small stuff. There is plenty to do, if a resident wants to participate. And there are some terrific special events, which draw large crowds. And my mom does not have to worry about her meals- they are all included. I would definitely recommend Coachman Square @ Woodbridge for elderly people or people who can no longer live alone!

After looking at many options for my father we chose Coachman Square. The staff are very welcoming and the facility is lovely. He was not eager to leave his apartment, but after a few months of settling in he says this is the best place for him by far. I am especially impressed with the way that everybody clearly knows him and have him on their radar at all times. He loves the food too.

My Mom Moved in last year and she says it is "The Happiest Days of Her Life"! The staff is amazing, food is excellent and service has exceeded our expectations. The amount of activities and socialization have kept her very engaged and making new close friends. She was living with me and that was fine, but I could have never provided this level of personal growth. I can't say enough about how Coachmans has given me peace of mind knowing she has her own apartment with friends but is well taken care of if needs arise. The Value is exceptional for the price!
