My sister has been there nearly a year and while she is not usually in the mood to party with the gang she does enjoy the dining experiences, small talk, watching the ducks and the music and sermons from young Rev. Martin. I wanted to give special acknowledgement to all the staff and especially to Rob the maintenance director for coming up to the room to help us out with the TV connection.

Professional, very clean, friendly staff, and most of all, cares for the residents. Leny one of the nurses was very knowledgeable and made my grandfathers transition very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place if you're in search of a senior care facility.

I came in for visits to see a family friend and I must say , Excellent staff and Great residents!! At first glance , I met a very smiley receptionist, Pat!! Went to 3rd floor where residents looked so happy enjoying happy hour and bingo with the Coordinator of Activities, Melissa !! From my talking with a few residents about how they liked the building " they all were in agreement that staff is very good to them, caring about their community and the residents!! I would definitely say if you're looking for a home for your loved ones, Brookdale Echelon Lake is the place for them!!

My Brother-in-Law Found Brookdale at Echelon, Loved it from the first day we saw it! Mom has always been happy there calls it her comfort zone! My mom has lived at Brookdale Echelon Lake for 17 years and those years have be wonderful. We have seen lots and lots of staff turnover and as sad as it is to see them - another lovely human fills the spot. The nurses have always been professional, kind and incredibly supportive. During times of sickness - if I can't be there - the nurses are. The front desk staff has always been great - the community is kept clean and attractive by our very hard working aides and maintenance staff. Our event coordinator is fun and full of life. She keeps the community busy. Check it out - I think you will be happy!

My parents have lived at Brookdale Echelon Lake since December of 2022 after leaving a different ASL & MC facility. My father is in ASL and my mother, a resident on MC floor. This review is more to acknowledge the level of care and attention provided by some members of the staff at Brookdale. The CNA staff on the Memory Care floor, especially Sarai, Virginia and Attia, have taken excellent care of my mom. They comfort her when she's feeling sad and engage with her to keep her active and smiling. In the Assisted Living side of the house, Melissa, the Resident Program Manager, has been amazingly supportive with ensuring that my dad, who stays in his room a lot, gets included in trips, activities and general welfare check-ins. He is very happy when she stops by for a quick chat. The maintenance and housekeeping staffs are always there to help with any concerns that come up with mom and dad's apartments. Vikki, Lenny and Len, members of the Nursing team, know that my parents require extra medical TLC and they have done a nice job of addressing their medical needs and communicating with me. To summarize, not only are these staff members great to my Parents but they are very welcoming to me and my family when we visit. Placing your parents in care facilities is very hard but knowing these individuals are there to help mom and dad when I can't has really helped make things a little less stressful. Sometimes it's the individuals that make the difference and this is an example of just that.

While on my journey looking for a place for my grandmom, I came across this beautiful lake view building !! I was doing a tour with my mother and saw all the programs for the residents!! The Activity Coordinator, Melissa, was very helpful n learning of the programs and fun events coming up!! The initial walk through there was a very smiley women by the name of Pat, She welcomed us and showed us around the lower level of their building, the dinning room was spacious and clean and the outside is nice as well!! The view is amazing and the staff were very nice!!! I would definitely recommend this as your loved ones home sweet home!!

I visited many assisted living facilities for my mother who was suffering from Alzheimers. But when I found Brookdale at Echelon Lakes, I knew I had struck gold. The facility is beautiful, the staff (to a person) so friendly, caring, helpful, and welcoming, but most importantly, they offered me the hope no other facility did. My mother was set against going into one of those places. Every facility I visited expressed concern that they would not be able to take her if she was not willing. I knew my mothers unwillingness was based on irrational fears and I only had to get her there to show her it was the best place for her-- no longer alone, things to do, caring staff looking out for her. Brookdale staff told me just get her here and we will take it from there. And they delivered. I got my mother transferred there after a second in a week fall at home and a brief hospitalization. They prepared for her a meal of her favorite food and welcomed her with open arms. Photos they took of her on her first few hours showed a smile on her face we had never, in a very long time seen! We visited an Elder Care attorney at the same time to be sure we had all bases covered and the lawyer spoke highly of Brookdale, mentioning their very robust memory care program. The staff was able to get my mother dressed in street clothes for the first time in a year (she insisted on bed clothes at home), got her participating in activities, and socializing. I wish I had gotten her to Brookdale sooner.

A dear family friend is at this community, and we as a family are beyond happy with all the staff has done for her! Our friend has no children, a widow and no family nearby, but the staff at Brookdale Echelon Lake ARE her family (as she often says)! She came to the building a bit apprehensive about assisted living at first, and now we have a hard time getting her to leave to join us for outings! Affordable, clean, smiling employees, and personal CARE. From the entire Management team, to the housekeeping staff, professionalism and genuine care-concern. If your loved one is showing signs of unhappiness, or needs a little extra care for their day-to day life, please consider this community...thank us later! Tell them Simone sent ya:)

At the heart of Brookdale, Echelon Lake is the experienced and caring team of professionals that has made my Mom’s experience there a true success story. The transition to assisted living from a private home was a challenging transition for everyone in our family. The culture of person-centered care ensured that Mom’s needs were understood and supported, both physically and emotionally. Quality resident activities such as bingo, musical performances and prayer group have now become favorite aspects of my Mom’s week. She has formed true friendships with many of the kind staff and other residents which has enhanced her quality of life greatly. My aunt was a resident at this place. I was surprised when I first came to visit her, it is an older building so I didn't expect it to kept up so well. This was about 1 year ago. Everyone was so friendly, it smelled like berries when we 1st walked in, my aunt and the others seem to get along with the staff and they looked well taken care of. It has the most beautiful view of the lake. I wish I could live there.

Brookdale Echelon Lake is a wonderful place. My family did not want to place my mom into a senior facility, but Brookdale is better than that. Moving my mom into her own apartment was well organized by the staff. My mom settled in quicker than we thought. I have no complaints about the tour I had taken at this community for my loved one. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to provide us with lots of great information as well as answer any questions we had for them. I liked the layout out of the over facility and thought it was easy to navigate throughout the building. Overall the staff did a great job and this place was great it was just not the right fit for my dad in the end decision.

Brookdale Echelon Lake is an older but clean establishment. It does need some upkeep. I absolutely give a five-star rating on the staff. They are very friendly and do a good job caring for my Mom. I couldn't ask for a nicer staff. My only complaint is the food. The meals could use a lot of help. There is not enough variety. Last night my Mom did not eat any of the food provided, so I brought her food that she would eat. They offer plenty of activities, my Mom prefers not to participate. She does enjoy people watching. They provide outdoor seating for residents to enjoy the outdoors. They also offer transportation for shopping trips for the residents. Mom is very content at Brookdale Echelon Lake. We feel good that she is in a safe environment.
