Franciscan Court is a wonderful family owned business. They are not a conglomerate or corporate chain. The family and owners are hands on and on site. This family and local approach makes the difference between them and other senior residences. They will care and support your loved one in the specific ways your loved one requires, physically, medically and emotionally. They have also addressed unique and novel circumstances my mother has encountered with discretion and understanding. My mother has made great strides and improvements since becoming a resident at Franciscan Court, and made many new social relationships. I can't say enough about Franciscan Court! My mom was there for 5+ years before passing away last week. A family run facility that treats not only the residents like family but also extended family members. They truly care and it shows in the care that they give! We moved our nonagenarian parents and our 68 year old sister into Franciscan Court in February 2023. All of our dealings with the staff at Franciscan Court, including our initial contact with Drew, the actual move-in, and settling in our family members, have been very pleasant. Kathy and Jennifer have shown personal interest while providing medical and nursing care. Melissa works with great patience as Activities Director. Drew answers questions, provides assistance, and takes care of everyday needs with a smile. The apartments are spacious and in good repair; the common areas are kept immaculate. The interior of the building was remodeled just a few years ago, so the decor and flooring, etc. are very nice. We are certain that Franciscan Court was the best choice for our family members. We believe the staff sincerely care, and that the facility is warm and inviting. We are thankful for Franciscan Court!

My grandmother loves living here. She is well cared for and feels safe in her room. I have personally witnessed staff members interacting with my grandma and they always show kindness and respect. When we have a question about her care or something we need to provide for her it is easy to get a hold of someone via phone or email. I am very glad that she is in such good care.

The owners of Franciscan Court have a passion for helping and caring for people. Family owned and lovingly cared for, Franciscan Court is clean and every time I visit, the residents always seem happy. They offer a variety of activities to help keep residents engaged. The staff are loving and kind which helps to make this a true community rather than just another supportive living facility. Franciscan Court also treats their staff well as is evidenced by the low staff turnover. Devoted employees who are treated well help ensure that residents are well taken care of. The support staff at Franciscan Court is admirable, my mother's needs are taken care of in a timely manner. There is a multitude of activities in house and opportunities to travel for shopping or entertainment. A special shout out to the attentive and caring medical staff that keeps my mother and myself informed of any changes that occur. Overall I am happy with the care that my mother is receiving at Franciscan Court.

Franciscan Court is a wonderful family owned and operated assisted living facility in West Chicago Illinois on the corner of route 59 and North Ave. It is tucked away on a frontage road without much traffic, so it's quiet. The common areas are always clean and bright, with a spacious dining area that overlooks a lovely courtyard with a babbling brook which terminates into a Koi fish pond. It is a perfect and safe area to sit and get some fresh air and enjoy some sunshine. The resident's apartments are pleasant and spacious and furnished with resident's personal belongings. The nursing care is great and the staff is very concerned with my mother's health and well being. They are very helpful in determining the needs of each resident and catering to those in regards to medication distribution and other physical issues. Overall, our family is very happy with Franciscan Court Assisted Living for our Mother's living arrangements.

My parents are in their mid 90s and have been living here for over a year. They are amazed at the care and level of quality interaction they receive dailey. They love the food and that really surprised me. But they really love the aids. Drew and all of the staff have helped make this difficult and important time for us much easier and better. They are accommodating, caring, helpful, and very friendly. Im so glad we found this place. My parents look and feel better now. I just could not give them the level of care that they receive here.

My father-in-law has lived at Franciscan Court for 7 months now and we could not be happier! GREAT family owned business. The staff is amazing. My father-in-law gets the best care. They will do anything you ask. We love Franciscan Court!! To add to my post above...My father-in-law has now called Franciscan Court his home for 16 months. We could not be happier with FC. The owners, staff are all the VERY BEST!!! My father-in-law is getting the BEST OF CARE!!! Trust me, my husband stops in every day to see his dad and we have nothing but PRAISE for this facility. It is immaculate and the clients receive loving care from the staff. The nurses (Jennifer Kathy) are very caring and if you have concerns they are always ready to assist you. The food is plentiful and appetizing. After touring several facilities for my Mom, I found Franciscan Court to be very reasonable in price. A higher price doesnt mean better care! Every individual has different needs and if your loved one is no longer able to live safely at home, Franciscan Court is a wonderful alternative.

My father lived at Franciscan Court for almost three years. The care he received while he was there was outstanding, the nursing staff was excellent and always kept us informed of anything out of the ordinary. He would tell me regularly that he really loved everyone on the staff and they made him feel that he was important to them. I personally found the staff to be kind, caring, attentive, respectful, easy to work with and professional. They go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. My father loved the musical programs, ice cream socials, exercise time and his weekly excursions to WalMart. There were plenty of activities to keep him occupied. FC is family owned, smaller in size and has a very comfortable and homey feel to it. The facility is well maintained and clean. The interior is simple, tasteful and cheerful. The outdoor courtyard is very pretty and a great place to sit and enjoy good weather. My father had a studio apartment that was perfect for his needs. He had a small refrigerator and microwave so he could keep a few of his favorite snacks in his room for in-between meals down in the dining room. We thought FC was a good value in comparison to other places we looked and we really liked the atmosphere and smaller size. I am very happy with the care and consideration we received from the folks at Franciscan Court and my father was happy as well he told me that regularly!

Overall Excellent My Aunt and Uncle have been residents for less than one year. They are private pay residents. FC is very clean and very well maintained. The professional staff have been very attentive to the needs of my Aunt and Uncle. The staff is intelligent, compassionate, and polite. FC has plenty of activities for the residents so that human contact and socialization opportunities are present each day. The food is nourishing, healthy, and plentiful. I feel that my Aunt and Uncle are receiving great care at FC.
