I am incredibly grateful for the care my uncle Floyd had received at Franciscan Court Supportive Living in West Chicago, IL. My biggest hope was simply to find a place where he could feel safe, supported and cared for and to simply begin to enjoy his independence and dignity. At Franciscan Court, I have truly seen that happen, my uncle was very happy there. He became more engaged, happy and loved everyone in the community. The care givers and nursing staff team had gone above and beyond, and the consistency, kindness, and patience shown by the staff there have made such a meaningful difference in his day-to-day life. After a very difficult year that included several ER and doctor visits my uncle Floyd passed away in June 2026. I am deeply saddened but at the same time I am very appreciative of the great care he received along with the support and leadership of the administrative team for their compassion and willingness to work with him and myself during a challenging time. Being treated with understanding and humanity dignity and respect has meant more to me than I can easily put into words. Franciscan Court had become a place that genuinely felt like home for my uncle Floyd, and I am so thankful he had the opportunity to live there. Our entire family is incredibly grateful for the almost 5 wonderful years my mother spent at Franciscan Court. I scouted out many places before I was referred to FC. I knew as soon as I met Drew that this was the place for my Mom. The staff is kind and caring and truly attentive to the residents needs. Nurse Jenny is amazing along with the CNA staff. This is a very special place that kept residents engaged with excellent activities, live entertainment and my mom’s favorite - bingo! All of this along with being clean as a whistle and serving great tasting food. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such a great place. Highly recommend.

Our family feels that the our father was treated with dignity, compassion, and genuine concern. The staff went beyond their duties to ensure his comfort and well-being. They communicated with the family on a regular basis with any concerns they had with his care. We feel that Dad's time at Franciscan Court Supportive Living gave him the quality of life that he would not have gotten elsewhere.

When it became clear that my mother could no longer live on her own, my brother and I visited several Assisted/Supportive Living facilities. We were struck immediately by how Franciscan Court had what can only be described as a warm/family feel to it. It was evident that the people living there were happy and very well taken care of. From the time our mother moved in until she passed away last month she received excellent and loving care from everyone who worked there. All of our interactions with the staff was a positive one and it was evident that our mother was receiving the kind of care we had always hoped for her to have. I would strongly encourage anyone who is looking for a place where they can rest assured that their loved one is receiving quality care in a safe and positive environment to consider Franciscan Court.

Franciscan Court is a wonderful family owned business. They are not a conglomerate or corporate chain. The family and owners are hands on and on site. This family and local approach makes the difference between them and other senior residences. They will care and support your loved one in the specific ways your loved one requires, physically, medically and emotionally. They have also addressed unique and novel circumstances my mother has encountered with discretion and understanding. My mother has made great strides and improvements since becoming a resident at Franciscan Court, and made many new social relationships. We moved our nonagenarian parents and our 68 year old sister into Franciscan Court in February 2023. All of our dealings with the staff at Franciscan Court, including our initial contact with Drew, the actual move-in, and settling in our family members, have been very pleasant. Kathy and Jennifer have shown personal interest while providing medical and nursing care. Melissa works with great patience as Activities Director. Drew answers questions, provides assistance, and takes care of everyday needs with a smile. The apartments are spacious and in good repair; the common areas are kept immaculate. The interior of the building was remodeled just a few years ago, so the decor and flooring, etc. are very nice. We are certain that Franciscan Court was the best choice for our family members. We believe the staff sincerely care, and that the facility is warm and inviting. We are thankful for Franciscan Court!

Family owned and lovingly cared for, Franciscan Court is clean and every time I visit, the residents always seem happy. They offer a variety of activities to help keep residents engaged. My grandmother loves living here. She is well cared for and feels safe in her room. I have personally witnessed staff members interacting with my grandma and they always show kindness and respect. When we have a question about her care or something we need to provide for her it is easy to get a hold of someone via phone or email. I am very glad that she is in such good care.

My Father is so happy at Franciscan Court. He loves the supportive medical care, loves being on a set schedule for all of his meals and the staff is truly genuine in their assistance. The support staff at Franciscan Court is admirable, my mother's needs are taken care of in a timely manner. There is a multitude of activities in house and opportunities to travel for shopping or entertainment. A special shout out to the attentive and caring medical staff that keeps my mother and myself informed of any changes that occur. Overall I am happy with the care that my mother is receiving at Franciscan Court.

Franciscan Court is a wonderful family owned and operated assisted living facility in West Chicago Illinois on the corner of route 59 and North Ave. It is tucked away on a frontage road without much traffic, so it's quiet. The common areas are always clean and bright, with a spacious dining area that overlooks a lovely courtyard with a babbling brook which terminates into a Koi fish pond. It is a perfect and safe area to sit and get some fresh air and enjoy some sunshine. The resident's apartments are pleasant and spacious and furnished with resident's personal belongings. The nursing care is great and the staff is very concerned with my mother's health and well being. They are very helpful in determining the needs of each resident and catering to those in regards to medication distribution and other physical issues. Overall, our family is very happy with Franciscan Court Assisted Living for our Mother's living arrangements.

I wrote a review on Franciscan Court back in late spring 2019 when we placed my father-in-law, Allan at Franciscan Court. I wanted to finish our story as things have changed since I initially wrote my review. Allan has since passed away. We could not have asked for a better place for my father-in-law to spend his final years. He was happy! We were happy! My husband went to visit his dad nearly every day for over a year. My husband got to know the entire staff and we got to know many of the residents. When covid hit in March 2020 and we were unable to see my father-in-law due to the CDC guidelines. Covid sucks!! Friends would say to us, "that must be so hard not knowing how he is. You must worry". We always replied "We know exactly how he is being cared for. We were there every day for over a year and we saw how the staff treated all the residents" We had such a great peace knowing he was in the best place ever! The staff always updated us on my father-in-law during the Covid shut down. I cannot say enough GOOD about Franciscan Court. You never have to worry about the treatment of a loved one. This team is outstanding!! WE LOVE THEM. WE MISS VISTING. We will be back to visit once Covid settles down. THANK YOU all for the love and support you gave my father-in-law, Allan.

My parents are in their mid 90's and have been living here for over a year. They are amazed at the care and level of quality interaction they receive dailey. They love the food and that really surprised me. But they really love the aids. Drew and all of the staff have helped make this difficult and important time for us much easier and better. They are accommodating, caring, helpful, and very friendly. I'm so glad we found this place. My parents look and feel better now. I just could not give them the level of care that they receive here.

My father-in-law has lived at Franciscan Court for 7 months now and we could not be happier! GREAT family owned business. The staff is amazing. My father-in-law gets the best care. They will do anything you ask. We love Franciscan Court!! To add to my post above...My father-in-law has now called Franciscan Court his home for 16 months. We could not be happier with FC. The owners, staff are all the VERY BEST!!! My father-in-law is getting the BEST OF CARE!!! Trust me, my husband stops in every day to see his dad and we have nothing but PRAISE for this facility. Franciscan Court in West Chicago is a little "gem" tucked away in the area of Routes 59 & 64. It is family owned and the family is involved with the day-to-day operations. It is immaculate and the clients receive loving care from the staff. The nurse's (Jennifer & Kathy) are very caring and if you have concerns they are always ready to assist you. The food is plentiful and appetizing. After touring several facilities for my Mom, I found Franciscan Court to be very reasonable in price. A higher price doesn't mean better care! Every individual has different needs and if your loved one is no longer able to live safely at home, Franciscan Court is a wonderful alternative.
