Chelmsford Crossings was a wonderful place for my mom during her short respite stay. We moved her there as a transition from rehab after a broken ankle, and from the moment she arrived, everyone was welcoming and inclusive not just to Mom, but to our family and all her visitors. The facility is beautifully maintained and very clean, and the food was excellent with thoughtful accommodations for her diabetic needs. Staff members were always accessible and patient with our many questions, making sure Mom felt comfortable and cared for. She also loved being able to get her hair and nails done right on site, which made her feel more like herself again. Overall, it was a great experience for all of us and a truly supportive environment for her recovery.

My mom has been living at Chelmsford Crossings for a little over 4 months and she loves it! She had lived in an independent living facility in Florida and it was not a positive experience. She moved back up here to live with my sister and her family, but had no social life of her own. At Chelmsford Crossings she has people to talk with, dine with, play games and go on outings with. It has done her a world of good to be around people her age as well as all the friendly staff. From the minute we started the tour, mom knew this was the place for her. We met Shane, Linda and Jamie that day and knew they were genuinely nice people.They have remained as friendly and helpful since day one. Mom would also like me to mention that Sandy and Joyce host things like resident lunches and cookie making. Mom thoroughly enjoys it. They are entertaining and the food is delicious. Jamie’s chef demos are also a lot of fun! The dining room staff are all friendly and attentive. Debbie takes extra good care of my mom, making sure she is eating right per her dietary restrictions. I can’t remember everyone’s names, but mom enjoys trivia with Cathy, and crafts and games with Tina, Sandy and Joyce. Mom was apprehensive about going on the bus, but wanted to try it in case I am unable to take her to an appointment. Henry drove her to an appointment, walked her in and was waiting for her when she came out. It worked out perfectly. We highly recommend Chelmsford Crossings!

My 97 year old Dad moved in about 2 months ago. The transition was a bit challenging for him personally. The staff at Benchmark could not have been more supportive. They’ve all learned his name, helped him to join in activities, and even know his order in the restaurant before he asks. He is lucky to be able to speak his native Creole when Evitha comes to check on him, Deb always makes sure he has his favorite ice cream and Shane has fielded calls and chats with us as we worked towards him feeling at home. As for my Dad, he says it’s a wonderful place where the people are kind and he has everything he needs.

We moved my aunt from Boston to Chelmsford Crossings after she had a bad fall. I wanted her to be closer to where I live. She agreed and we met with the staff and they couldn’t have been more helpful. She moved in and has been there for 6 weeks and she tells me she’s home. She has so many friends already and loves it there. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful place in Chelmsford, MA.

It gives us a tremendous sense of piece of mind, knowing she is getting kind and attentive care. Everyone there is always willing to talk about any issue. I would highly recommend Chelmsford Crossing for anyone looking for assisted living for their loved one. My dad moved in mid October and after visiting many different options, we settled on Chelmsford Crossing- a great decision. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the housekeeping is impeccable. The food is delicious with a wide variety for many options. There are many different activities offered. Chelmsford Crossing is a wonderful community!

I really appreciate the wonderful care that my sister receives at Chelmsford Crossings. I live in Illinois so it gives me great comfort to know that she is safe and happy there. I especially like the fact that there are so many activities that she is able to participate in. Seeing photos on Facebook of everyone playing Bingo, going on trips, and enjoying life helps me to know that we made the right choice by selecting Chelmsford Crossings.

After viewing numerous assisted living facilities, we knew Chelmsford Crossing was the best. From the moment my mom and I walked in everyone was incredibly friendly and the place is beautiful . No matter what time of day I stop by to visit mom, everyone greets you. The residents are very friendly and I love how all the staff know me and my mom. My mom loves living there, it was a huge adjustment moving but I truly believe she transitioned into living there because of the positive atmosphere. There isn’t anything negative to say, the food is great, there are always activities and the place is so clean. I highly recommend Chelmsford Crossing to all my mom’s friends and my friends for their family members. It’s a blessing to know mom is in good hands living at Chelmsford Crossing.

Chelmsford Crossing is a great community for those who need assistance in daily living while providing a bit of independence and privacy wherever needed. They also do very well and try to have a variety of activities to suit many of the residence and a daily basis. Their food and all meals are prepared to satisfy most people and will go out of their way to honor special requests and provide the nutritional meals that support all diets. All staff members are professionals and they really do care about the success and well being of all of their residents.

My wonderful friend Barbara was a resident at Chelmsford Crossing recently and her stay was the very best thing for her. She was extremely nervous about moving but the Chelmsford Crossing family succeeded in making her immediately at home. I stress the word family, as this is exactly what it felt like there. Every person on the staff we had the pleasure to meet and that worked with Barbara were amazing with their sincere and compassionate care and attention. I joked with Barbara that she was a VIP, but it really was no joke. That's exactly how she was treated. I would like to point out four people that went above and beyond and were so critical to Barbara's well being and sense of peace as she approached her end of life on this planet. Linda(head nurse and big cheese), Sarah(intake coordinator), Nat(cleaner) and Debbie(dining hall). I think this shows that the tremendous care is present throughout the entire organization. There are so many others that made a difference to Barbara and her friends and family. I will end by reiterating that every single person in the Chelmsford Crossing family cared for Barbara with sincere love and I am eternally grateful. God Bless and Peace To You All

I arrived at Benchmark four months ago after my previous assisted-living housing could not accommodate My needs. when I contacted Sarah at Benchmark she assisted me with a smooth transition. you can’t go wrong when the food , staff and service is good. And The medical staff Makes Sure my personal needs are taken care of. As for the activities! there is a variety of card Games,Exercise classes, movies, and entertainment just mentioned a few. and the best thing about it is that I made friends here. and I’m happy 🙂

Benchmark Chelmsford Crossing has been a wonderful facility for my mother for over 3 years. The staff is pleasant, the facility is very clean and the available activities keep her engaged and active with other residents. I enjoy speaking with Cathy and Nancy when I arrive and check in, they are very welcoming to visitors. Can’t say enough good things hopefully this message and a Thank You to everyone will let the staff know they are appreciated for all they do!

From the moment I called in a bit of a panic because we needed to find a good, safe spot for my mom to call home and fast, everything has been phenomenal at Chelmsford Crossings. Sarah answered all of my questions including ones I hadn't thought to ask, offered to give mom and our family a tour, and reassured me that everything was going to be OK. Move in day could not have gone more smoothly, my mom was welcomed like she just came home to family, and my mom's, and our family's, experience every day since has proven that we found the right place. The whole team is kind, supportive and friendly. She's safe, happy, well-fed (the food is excellent!), and well cared for. We had family friends that had been here and loved it, but it's exponentially more important and real when it's a member of your own family. Bottom line -- Benchmark at Chelmsford Crossings is excellent!

Chelmsford Crossing has gone way downhill. We understand the staffing shortage across the industry and the staff there are kind and do their best but they are being let down by in house management, all the way to corporate ownership. They recently went up again on rent, while going way down on services and care. As you would assume the up management has not taken a pay cut. The nursing staff has been cut, to where there is no longer 24 hours nurses on staff. Nothing is followed through from one nurse to the next. If you tell a nurse that the resident needs something to be done, that information is not recorded and will not be passed onto the following scheduled nurse. There is no accountability for anyone who works there. No formulated recorded plan for care or lack there of. If just verbally passed on from one aide/nurse and quickly forgotten. The food used to be good but now they serve a lot of processed food and carbs. Pasta all the time, frozen pizza, chicken fingers, chips, hot dogs, hamburgers on a HOT DOG roll and they over serve deserts. If you are a low fat / sodium diet forget about them following any dietary guide lines. There are not enough aides and some of the ones they do have are not properly trained. They will just dump a resident in their room and leave. Not caring if the person needs to use the bathroom or be cleaned up. They will leave them in soiled cloths or undergarments all day. If a resident is not mobile the aides will not usually get them for actives so they are left isolated. It's not all the aides fault, the fault lies with management/ownership. It's the proverbial profits over people. It has now gone beyond neglect to bordering abuse. Ownership needs to do something about it. Hopefully it won't get any worse.

Actually the first post was a mistake but this place has the best RCD Cathy who is so engaging and encouraging that is why residents enjoy the work that the RCAs do because it’s being cordinated by Cathy I would recommend anyone looking for a place for their loved one to try Chelmsford crossing you won’t regret it’s worth the try

Benchmark Senior Living at Chelmsford Crossings is a place I would recommend to any Family members and Friends. It is so well run with the best staff members from top to bottom. All the residents are so well taken care of anyone would feel so at piece with themselves if their Love-one’s were here. I’ve been researching Senior Living facilities and found Benchmarks standards are among the best you’ll find anywhere.
