The staff at Inspirations of Tempe are phenomenal! The atmosphere is family friendly and the care and activities are geared for the health and wellbeing of the residents. This is a great place for your loved ones. The employee at the front desk, Glenda, is always willing to assist and answer questions! She is polite, professional, and courteous! A definite draw for this company. The medical technician, Michelle, is so kind and caring towards the residents. The activities director, Kelly, is full of energy and provides great activities for the residents which are geared for their skill levels snd interests. There is even a Hairdresser at this facility on Wednesdays and Fridays that has over 30 years experience. A great place for your loved one!!

Transitioning to assisted living can be daunting, but caring people can make all the difference. At Inspirations of Tempe that is what you will find: a community of caring people who serve their residents with love and grace. The facility itself is lovely and well-maintained. The meals are nutritious and the menus are varied. The on-site nursing and support staff are attentive and wonderfully patient. And, the monthly calendar is filled with a such a nice variety of activities, there really is something for everyone to enjoy. My mom is independently minded, a bit of an introvert, and very private about her own affairs, but she was welcomed with kindness by staff and residents alike. After just two months, I can honestly say she is both happier and healthier at Inspirations of Tempe than when she had been on her own.

I have a family member at Inspirations of Tempe, and the improvement I have seen in the past 6 months is outstanding. I actually sleep at night knowing my loved one is being cared for and is safe. My family member is happy and has made so many new friends (She gets to go out with them on trips too!) The staff all show initiative to help and a want to care for others. I am so glad I chose Inspirations of Tempe, and you couldn't convince me to move my family member anywhere else. The pricing is very fair, (seemed high for me at first to be honest, but after touring around and learning the usual cost, it seems normal for Tempe)

They seem genuinely happy, and every time I visit, the other residents are friendly and engaged, which says a lot about the community. 01-24-25 Update. My mom had passed away on 12-17- 24. In dealing with Inspirations during this difficult time I have learned how compassionate all the staff have been. My mother absolutely adored all of them and they treated her with kindness and compassion. I have to say thank you for rectifying any and all concerns. I believe that the staff is what makes this a special place. I recently had to stop by Inspirations after my mother's passing and was greeted with hugs and open arms, just as my mom was. Hearing great stories and admiration for my mother made me believe this is truly what home is all about. I want to thank all of the staff for their compassion and care for not only my mother but me as well. They really knew my mom and cared for her immensely. Pastor Lee thank you for your spiritual support and love of God that my mom cherished. I will miss hearing all the stories my mom would tell me about how much fun she had and how loved she felt. She made many wonderful friends and memories. 12-2-24 Update. I had a face to face meeting with the Director. Everything was addressed. It was comforting to hear the directors focus and dedication. Things are starting to turn around. The response times are improving greatly. The housekeeping has been upgraded and it appears there is more attention to detail. I look forward to completely transforming my review and adding more stars. Done and done.

Azra is the sweetest and most gentle caregiver and med-tech I have ever met. I love Inspirations of Tempe, and it is because the residents here are the best, and the staff are too. They are becoming a part of my family, and Azra has played a big part in that. She has such a servant heart and I just wanted to say thank you! The staff has a strong sense of teamwork and I think Azra has been a big part in leading by example. She always gives her best, day in and day out and I couldn’t be more thankful I chose Inspirations of Tempe so I can be around people like Azra! They keep her involved and busy which is so important for her dementia. The director Gretchen is a joy to work with. I’ve been a resident for 3 months. I wanted to go from rehab to home, but really wasn’t up to being on my own. I came here very much not wanting to be in assisted living. Now 3 months in I can tell you this is a good, (no exceptional), place to be! What makes it exceptional is the staff! Every person I have come in contact with is wonderful, kind, genuinely caring. Every staff member will go above and beyond to ensure you know they are there to serve you and to exceed your expectations. There is a lot of heart and love given by the staff in every single area! I am so happy I came here. The other residents vary in age and needs. Everyone I have met has been delightful. I have never heard anyone say anything unkind about another person and everyone looks out for each other. It’s a giant family

We just moved into inspirations of Tempe . The sales director Traci is amazing at her job. The ED Jannea came and gave a warm welcome and greeted me and my family in our new apartment home . Welcomed us to the new community told us her door is always open . She is here to serve. I have had the pleasure of meeting other residents at meals who spoke very highly of Jannea and the community. They are confident in her and the culture she brings. The nurse Erika has been Amazing and the staff on the floor are phenomenal. I am proud of my new home.

Touring this community was absolutely amazing, from the residents, to the staff, the interior and exterior spaces held for their residents. I haven’t seen senior living quite like this before. It’s so intimate yet upscale there is such a balance between the care and the feel of home. The services they offer for my family member seemed to be just what I am looking for. We visited a number of assisted living facilities for my mom and decided on Inspirations of Tempe due to the relatively reasonable cost (all inclusive), decent food, accommodations, cleanliness, and location. Unfortunately we were not aware of how understaffed they are. Do they not pay enough? Seems the temporary director gets paid decent as he is flown in from Colorado every other week and put up in Scottsdale hotels. In order to get assistance, residents use call buttons. The response time is not ideal”especially if someone needs help to get to the bathroom. If staff calls in sick there is no back up. Not sure why they don’t bring in students from nursing schools that need hours for training. Additionally, there is an on site washer and dryer which I thought would be great to wash my mom’s clothes since she deals with eczema and uses special detergent. Unfortunately the dryer doesn’t work well. Apparently it’s been like this since as least May! A facility like this can’t afford to put in a working dryer? Hopefully improvements can be made.

After previewing 8 assisted living communities in Chandler & Gilbert, with a representative from a company referred by her skilled nursing facility, I did not feel as if any of them fit my mom, who was a very simple and down-to-earth lady. Many of the communities were new, big, and beautiful but...they were not places where I felt my mom would be "at home" in. I decided to do my own search and came across Elmcroft of Tempe. I scheduled a tour and we signed the contract before leaving that day. My husband and I knew that this was the place. The community is clean, comfortable, welcoming, easy for residents to navigate, and there are plenty of activities to participate in. Everyone - from the front desk, staff, caregivers, med techs, activities director etc. - were very caring and always receptive to my many questions, as this was all new territory to navigate. My mom needed full assist for most daily activities and we liked the pricing because it included that and was much less than what she would have paid at other communities we previewed. They try and seat residents for meals with others who have some similar backgrounds or interests and mom made several wonderful friends during her 17 months there. She passed away fairly suddenly in September 2019. I was out of the country, and wasn't able to be there, but was told by a staff member that there were caregivers checking on her regularly and one who didn't want to leave her side. That was comforting to me, knowing that she had people around her who cared. I would highly recommend this community.

I visit this community weekly as a vendor and every week I am greeted with a warm smile from either LaVerne or Kim who work in the front. The nursing staff here are always open and friendly whether it’s with a vendor, a family member, and or the residents. Whenever I am communicating with Robin, Sonia or anyone else in the nursing department they truly know the details of what is going on with their residents. The staff at Elmcroft of Tempe makes this community feel like it’s an extension of home.

Prior to moving to Elmcroft of Tempe, I have lived in five other senior living communities and 5 rehab hospitals, so my experience and expectations for senior living were very high. At the time of the move, Elmcroft became the smallest community I'd ever called home. I wondered if I'd ever fit myself and my remaining treasures in comfortably. And with that question in mind, I sat evaluating this new place only to realize, there is an intimacy to be found here that I'd never before known in senior living. I love the size of the building, the size of the population, and the adequacy in staff. I have found here a converted effort to work as a team. The theme of "We Do Things For One Another," is alive and well within and across departments and extends with graciousness to all my accidents and incidents. I've never been this old before, so I had no idea how MUCH of that I'd want and need. I am heard; I have a voice. My vitality is recognized, not marginalized. I have come home. Thank You. My father moved to Elmcroft in May f 2018 shortly after my mother passed away. He llived there until he passed away in November 2018 at age 94. My wife and I were so happy that we found Elmcroft for my dad. Everything from his room , food and the facility itself was excellent. The entire staff made extra efforts to make him feel part of a community which he really needed. Sandi Spence Lewis from the first day di everything she could to make living there special for my dad. In the 6 months he lived there. He really had a new extended family. Mt dad truly loved her. In addition his room was always clean. When his health deteriorated the medical support was incredible. Robin Tollver, his nurse was truly amazing. In addition to coordinating her team and eventually hospice, the personal care, time and respect she showed my dad was beyond what we expected and was instrumental in he peace he felt at the nd of his life. I will be forever grateful to Elmcroft of Tempe and would recommend them in the strongest terms.

Six months ago, I moved our 91 year old mother into Elmcroft in Tempe. I visited a number of living centers in the community and found this one to be an exceptional fit. The Marketing Manager, Sandi, and the people we met prior to move in were extremely welcoming and informative. I am happy to say that after mom lived independently for 90 years she was welcomed with open arms and hearts into this community. The change wasn't easy at first after so many years of independent living however credit to all of the folks at Elmcroft she feels a part of the community and is doing well both physically and emotionally. The food is really good and the activity (daily, weekly, and seasonally) keep the residents busy and engaged. While senior living is not inexpensive I found the rates and amenities to be highly competitive. There were no hidden or sudden changes due to care level provided and the facility is well kept, clean and well managed. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom! RJB

A great place with many caring staff members! My mom was very happy living here for over 10 months and passed peacefully away on July 9, 2018. Robyn, the LPN, and Maureen, the Executive Director have truly been a blessing for ensuring that my mom's personal needs were handled professionally. The food quality is high; much better than other assisted living care centers where my mom previously lived. Also, there is no nickel & diming you for added services. All charges are included in your monthly rent, including 3 meals per day. In this industry, no place is perfect; but Elmcroft's management responds quickly and is always open to suggestions from residents and family members.

My husband lived at Elmcroft Tempe for almost 3 years. We had him at another company’s facility prior to Elmcroft. The other company was a nightmare for my husband. Elmcroft was a god-send. Bobby gained weight from your wonderful home made from scratch meals. He became happy and smiling from the kindness of the Elmcroft staff. The turnover of staff hardly exists. The head dietician has been there 16 years! I can’t say enough about the goodness of the staff at Elmcroft in Tempe. The all inclusive price was half of the cost of other places like this. I can't say enough about this place! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by Laverne who is amazing, has been there for years, and treats the residents like family. The Executive Director Maureen adds so much positivity and has helped create such a warm and welcoming environment through her compassion for her residents and staff. Armina the chef holds meetings with the residents to get their input on the menu, her food is healthy and delicious! The Activities Director Jolee plans many fun activities to include all the residents and they have many events in which families can attend! I highly recommend Elmcroft of Tempe!

My wife's grandmother resided at Elmcroft for approximately eight months before she died. Her husband had passed two months before she moved in, so she was in a difficult transition in her life. At first, she was against it but the moment she laid eyes on the place she would call home, I visually saw her melt. Her living space had the dignity of the lifestyle to which she was accustomed. The staff was loving, nurturing and understanding of a woman having recently lost her husband of 50 years. I've stayed in touch and am familiar with the current administration - it just keeps getting better! I would recommend this place to anyone.

My first impression of Elmcroft Tempe was 'wow'. The leadership team, care and ancillary staff are welcoming and friendly with great smiles. They take the time to listen and volunteer their assistance. A true benefit that represents the quality of professional care. The building and facility grounds are extremely clean and well-groomed. Meal plans provide a well rounded nutritional balance. I was impressed with the special programs provided to the residents. The residents appear to be very happy and pleased with their overall care provided in their home.

I toured the site the other day, and I have to say I was impressed. As a boy, I worked summers in a nursing home (quite large, about 200 residents), and I learned a little about it. I did not go into that field, but I can't unlearn what I learned. Some places I have seen are quite frightening when viewed from the lens of someone considering suggesting the place to a relative or friend. Not this place. The atmosphere was terrific, the place is clean, and the staff appeared to be friendly. I think the place is worth being on anybody's list.
