Juniper Village is a 5 star facility for your family member. the grounds are kept beautifully landscaped with outdoor areas for the residents to enjoy. Indoors is always kept neat and clean, decorated always for upcoming holidays and events, creating a friendly and comforting environment. The residents always seem to be engaged in some activity in the main room. The staff is amazing! They work together to make the atmosphere comfortable, safe and fun for the residents. We have witnessed staff members from all departments go out of their way to show kindness, respect, and reassurance to the residents and their families. We can’t write a 5 star review without mentioning the woman at the front desk, Tanisha. She always seems to have a handle on things at this busy facility. She is professional and welcoming. Always treating residents and family members with respect and kindness. She knows all of the residents by name as well as their family members. She goes above and beyond to make the residents, and family members feel comfortable and informed. The kindness of The staff members cannot go unmentioned. Our first experience with Meghan, assured us that our family member would be safe and cared for at Juniper. The choice of placement was easy. We found comfort and reassurance knowing that the staff will take such good care of our Mom. Highly recommended by Tom, Gale and family.

My Dad has been at Juniper now 5 years and he is happy and very very well cared for which is most important to me. Sara Gongora (in nursing office) is amazing. She is always helping my Dad when he can't get his TV to work - my Dad says "only ask Sara". She is extremely helpful as well when I have an issue. Overall, the The staff is always so accommodating and always willing to listen. I consider myself to be very lucky and fortunate to find Juniper Village for my Dad to live out the rest of his years. We needed a memory care facility for my mom after an untimely and unexpected loss. The first place we toured was Juniper Village. Michelle MacDonald showed us around and went the distance to explain the process and all the things needed to get our mom the best care and the best living set up. There were so many moving pieces involved but Michelle patiently and compassionately made it seamless and my mom was welcomed into Juniper Village. The staff is incredible and caring. Sara Gongora has been there to support my mom in her adjustment and Cenon in maintenance has made sure that the room is top notch and helped tremendously with the furniture delivery. All of the staff has really helped my mom and she’s well cared for. I HIGHLY recommend Juniper Village at Paramus for anyone who needs assisted living.

Update. My mom has been at Juniper for over a year and I happy to say Juniper was the right choice for us. What really impresses me is how each member of the staff, from the front deskf, activities director, nurses, care givers, the dining staff gets to know each resident and has a vested interest in caring for them. That makes this journey that much more manageable. My mom moved into Juniper last month and I am very happy with the facility. When introducing me to the place, Megan was warm, honest and right on point. The staff has kept tabs on my mom to ensure she is getting the proper care. After a rocky start of health issues, a hospital stay & rehab stay my Mom finally moved into Juniper Village at Paramus 5 months ago. So far it’s been an excellent experience, she’s happy, well cared for, caregivers, nurses, med techs are all very attentive to her needs and my requests. My Mom’s health has dramatically improved since being in their care. My Mom always says how nice they all are and they come right away if she needs help. Overall the community is upbeat, well kept, clean, has a very warm, home like atmosphere, the apartments are a good size, and many have been recently renovated. It’s very easy to navigate, even for seniors with memory issues, you really can’t get lost. It’s one of the few communities in the area with a memory care unit so seniors can truly age in place without the stress of moving. It’s minutes away from Valley Hospital and not far from Hackensack or Englewood Hospitals which also was a huge deciding factor for me. Thank you Juniper Village for taking such good care of my Mom.

Our family recently went through a very difficult transition just prior to my mom joining the Juniper Village community, and I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. From the very beginning, the staff made the entire process feel easy, supportive, and well organized during a time that was emotionally challenging for all of us. What stands out most is how genuinely caring the team is. They treat my mom with true kindness, respect, and dignity, and it’s clear they really take the time to listen to her. The staff is incredibly responsive and always available”whether I stop by in person or reach out by phone, both she & I feel heard and supported. We had a specific situation involving my mom’s lymphedema pumps, and I was impressed by and grateful of how the care staff and nurses handled it. They arranged an in-service training for the team to ensure her treatments were done properly, listened closely to my mom’s needs, and made sure everyone was comfortable and informed. That level of dedication and teamwork meant so much to us. Knowing that there is nursing staff available 24/7 brings me tremendous peace of mind. I’m incredibly grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and reassurance of the entire staff as they attend to my mom's care.

The room has a very nice walk in closet and the trips and activities are cool. They went to see the Yankees and went to see an art museum the day we were there. It was a hard decision to move my grandmother out of her home, but everyone at Juniper has made this transition easy. From the very first day that I toured, I knew Juniper would be a loving and safe home for grandma. My millions of questions were answered and my feelings were validated. I was no rushed or made to feel pressured. This was the best decision I could have made. Grandma has been there for two weeks now and is thriving for the first time in more than five years. She now gets dressed, does her hair, and is even shopping for a new lipstick. She quickly made friends in the dining room and raves about the food. I cannot recommend Juniper and the staff enough!!

My grandmother would have lived at juniper next month for 3 years she passed on Monday and I have to say that every staff member that I spoke to have a wonderful stories to tell about her and were genuinely sad that she passed. They know everything about her likes her dislikes she was always bathed her laundry was always done and I couldn't have asked for better care for her. The staff there really cares about their patience and do everything they can to make them feel loved and comfortable. They have wonderful activities throughout the day and they know whom by subject activities and favorite ice cream flavor. If you're looking for a place to send your loved one you couldn't get better care than Juniper

It’s immediately clear that Juniper Village is an active and vibrant community. The shared community space is lovely and provides a nice atmosphere in which to dine, socialize and attend special events. They seem to have an impressive activity program, with a lot of community involvement. In fact there was a large group activity going on while I was there, as well as more intimate groups socializing. I was even charmed by one of the AL residents’ sweet doggy. One thing I noticed right away when we visited the secured Wellspring community is just how much staff there is. It is reassuring to know there is always someone available to help should mom need it. There are two main activity areas in the community but the Wellspring residents also attend concerts and other large events in the main community room. In addition to an enclosed sunroom, there’s a kitchen area where residents can participate in baking activities with staff. Wellspring apartments are cozy and I believe mom would feel quite comfortable and at home there. Megan was friendly, compassionate, and respectful and responsive.

I can’t say enough good things about Juniper Village and their entire management and staff. Our dad moved in last week. The two things I can say about him is that he is very anxious and very social. After the first day/night, his stress was relieved. He immediately felt taken care of and safe & secure. He felt like they knew and understood him, as the entire staff calls him by his name and learned his routine very quickly. As far as his outgoing personality goes, he quickly went from the initial quiet, nervous man to his normal social self because he was seated with a group of men that the staff felt were similar to our dad, and he loosened up, became talkative and did not feel alone. I’m so happy my sisters and I decided on Juniper Village!!! Every single employee (from the front desk to the nursing staff) is beyond nice and they all love what they do and genuinely care for each and every resident. I thank them for easing our minds and giving our dad his life back.

My father-in-law has been here for 3 months. I will be very honest. In the beginning, it was hard for all of us. With him saying he is going home in a week and us feeling guilty and wondering if we were doing the right thing for him. Well, by the end of the first month, I must say we were positive that this was the best place for him. As for him, he couldn't stop saying what a lovely place this is and how wonderful and friendly the staff are. We were amazed how fast the staff knew his name and how they would get him involved in the many activities that they have during the day. His favorite is when they have musicians or singers come in. There is always something good happening at Juniper for the residents. The place itself is beautiful and clean. They keep the rooms well cleaned and maintained and always make sure that my father-in-law is well taken care of. My dad has been at Juniper Village for several months now, and I couldn't be happier with the community and experience. The staff are wonderful and attentive to his needs and every question we've had throughout the process. The community is very well maintained, there are a wide array of activities that my Dad has started engaging in, and his health and safety are paramount. My father arrived in a wheelchair and his physical therapist Stephanie has been fantastic and gives me updates on his status as he moves towards walking again. Kat one of the Directors at Juniper has also stayed in touch with my family and answers any questions we've brought to her thus far. We are so glad to have found Juniper Village to be my mother’s new home. After visiting quite a few places around the area, we felt confident that Juniper would be a great fit for her lifestyle. At first as was expected, my mother had trouble adjusting to her new surroundings, but within a few weeks, she was already finding her way around and loving the friendly staff and the amazing array of activities that they provide the residents with every day. She has told me that she loves spending her day around the dining room/common areas and is enjoying the activities and the company of the residents. She says that it feels like a big family! Juniper feels like home (or even a vacation). Nothing about it screams "assisted living". Every time I walk in, the place is full of bustling happy seniors. It's so cute. Friendly people sitting out front, sitting by the piano, mingling in dining room. Really different feeling than the typical anxiety you get walking into a nursing home. Clean, smells great, fresh farm-to table food, friendly staff, (From Peter's awesome vision and philosophy on aging with independence and optimism, to Linda who is AMAZING, Katie and Beritta in Nursing, Stephanie and Jill in therapy, Chelsea, Michele in recreation, even the front desk staff!) and beautiful spaces. And can I just say- it is so darn refreshing to deal with staff that does what they say they will!? It seems like such a small thing but to anyone with a loved one in a senior living-wow. People at Juniper do what they said they will! And they respond. *I want to thank therapist Stephanie Pires, the director of Rehab for trying everything she can (even getting creative!) to help my dad. I know with people like her he will try his best to make even the semblance of progress towards quality of life. She is a breath of fresh air compared to some of what I have seen/experienced. Just want to thank you. I feel like my Dad is surrounded by love.

Mom was at the point where she couldn't live by herself or manage her own affairs anymore. I selected Juniper Village Paramus for their assisted living, and I've been very happy with that choice. She immediately began receiving regular medical and psychological care, and they brought her depression and anxiety under control within a matter of weeks. The facility is bright and clean, and the management and staff are wonderful and responsive. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents occupied for most of the day, along with an on-site beauty salon. Mom is the happiest I've seen her in many years, thanks to Juniper.
