The facility and my mom's unit is very nice. She has lived there several months. The management staff was very kind and helped us walk this new path to get mom settled. Mom was very resistant and difficult. She has seemed to find some peace living here. The 3 stars are for the food. One of the last pleasures in life is being able to eat and socialize. We try to come and eat meals with mom in the dining room once or twice a week. We never comment on the food to her and try to keep it positive. We need to be sure she is eating. At every meal all around us, residents instead of talking about the weather or family etc... are complaining about the quality of the food. And rightly so. It is at times barely palatal and sometimes even running out of food. The wait staff are amazing and so kind. Please find a solution to the rotating door that these "chefs" are going through. A chef should be paid well. We pay $4300 a month for mom to live here. She does have a unit with a full kitchen and we are also buying groceries to make sure she is getting proper nutrition. If there were an option for us to pay a reduced rent and limited dining room we would take it. * I would like to mention Emma, at the front desk. She is a breath of fresh air. She always greets us with a smile and is very kind and professional.*

My mother has loved her time here at Silver Creek. Their assisted Living staff has been very generous with her care, the building is clean and well cared for. I appreciate their common spaces and efforts to make all residents happy and comfortable. P.S. She absolutely loves the meals.

My uncle moved in almost one year ago after assisted living at brookdale in puyallup. He is currently living independently with better service and a much better atmosphere than he had at brookdale. He’s paying 2/3rds of the price for a nicer unit and a happier staff and residents. I think it’s a better value and a great place.

My mother was at this place for 7 months. Mostly okay. A whole lot of what we can do, not much follow through. I finally had to say, can we talk about an actual action. There was always a reason to not carry out. At a point her location was a problem so we waited weeks to move her to a closer (to services, meals, assistance) spot. It had been cleaned. Repeatedly I would be told it was ready, I would go check it out and it was not clean. The same raisin was on the kitchen floor for three previews. After that, a moist cloth wipe of the floor produced filth. I mean tell me it’s been cleaned without going over to the now close proximity and looking for yourself, smh. Or maybe the standard of clean is exceptionally low. As it happened, the decision to just gut and start over the unit was made and the wait continued. Promises of making efforts to get my Mom down to meals (room delivery was a substantial additional cost), not meaningfully engaged. At last, I was convinced, the get away with as little actual service as possible while citing all the possibilities is the standard business practice. I understand my Mother is difficult but if that were insurmountable, say so and stop collecting in excess of 8k a month. We moved our Mother to a location that has her on the main level, as far from the dining room as is possible and yet somehow, from day one, the staff has managed to get her to 2 meals a day. All her meals are in the dining room. Aside from the obvious perks of that. A small one, my Mother’s remaining flatware is in tact. Why remaining? Because the staff at Silver Creek would deliver meals without flatware but would take the dishes away with the flatware. Signs posted, requests made, didn’t help. Somehow we were supposed to understand that taking something away that wasn’t brought, was an us problem. Always again, we’ll look for it, we’re going to replace all ours and at that time the others should be found, the words of action, never the action. My sister has reached out, left messages, no response. Probably because they aren’t getting paid anymore. While my sister had faith in the professionalism and promise, she finally accepts what I had been saying. That’s my gripe. Get in writing, signed and don’t accept we will, we can as anything other than words.

Our Mom was at Silvercreek at Bonaventure for three years. She needed assistance and help with daily living and the staff and management at Silvercreek really came through. No facility is perfect but my litmus test is a great attitude exhibited by staff,and consistent and applied compassion:both were lovingly given to my Mom. The facility cannot do it alone and families need to work in coordination with staff to maximize your loved one’s time spent at Silvercreek. Mom eventually went in to hospice and passed peacefully in her sleep. She was blessed that Marie and Ernst,and her aides were there to comfort her on this journey.

You don't want to know why I am giving only One start to this facility, if this was 8 years ago they will have 5 starts, please if you decide or one of your parents decide to move out be careful because they will call APS and claim abuse just because they are going to lost money and they have to report to the corporate office why they are missing census. I can write here all the issues why my mother-in-law decide to move out, but it is not worked. In 2017 I move my real mom from Florida to this facility, at that time it was a completely different place and staff and that was one of the reasons I suggested to my husband this facility now it is not a place for me to recement to anyone. Be aware it was not our decision to bring my mother-in-law here, she was looking for a little apartment where she can be in her own, it is also her decision to move out and it is her right to decide where she want to be.

My mother lived here for four and a half years. Knowing she was safe and cared for gave us such peace of mind. We have always been so pleased with the attention she received. Thank you for taking great care of my mom.

Marie and Ernest take a personal approach and really go above and beyond to meet the needs of the residents they serve. The building is clean and inviting. From the smiles at reception to the wellness team when a little extra help is needed...this team cares!

Update as of November 2023. This place has made an amazing turn around. The management has changed and they care about the people living there. The food has drastically improved as well as the staff plans many events and takes the residents on field trips to lots of fun places. Marie previously one of the care givers, has been promoted to run the place. I believe she will do a fantastic job as she genuinely cares about the residents. Past Review July 2022 My mother-in-law has lived there for 16 months. She has to wait in the dining area for up to an hour to get her meals that are often cold or pizza that has been ordered out. They often don’t have enough staff to serve the food so the management or med techs end up serving the food . I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Update: there have been some major changes over the past 6 months. The staff are more engaged, excited to do fun things with the residents. I changed my 1 star review to 4. Marie took over recently and it's remarkable how the team is all pulling together. Old review: This place needs some serious help. There are good things but the bad outweigh the good exponentially. Cold food or no food, not enough staff, or staff don't stay. 90 minute wait for residents to order food. Medication issues. People seem like they are so willing to help but seems their hands are tied and can't. The front door does not have an outgoing handicap opener so if there is an emergency the residents would have a horrible time getting out safely. Corporate has been notified as well as everyone who would listen at this location.

My mother lives at Silver Creek and has been there for two years. The staff there is always happy, helpful and good to the residents. I would like to mention Marie as one of the most helpful. I was scared at the thought of my mom moving into an Assisted living but the management at Silver Creek was fantastic! They were so gentle, kind and caring. They walked us through the whole proccess and answered our questions and made my mom and us feel welcomed and at home. The food is tasty and plentiful. So many activities for my mom she is keeping busy and happy! Everyone is so friendly and smiling it makes you feel good to visit let alone live there . I would thoroughly reccomend them.

Wow it has been a few months since I have been back to visit my grandpa and I was surprised by the changes. The building is going through a soft remodel and the decor and furnishings are gorgeous. The staff is always so helpful and know right where to find my grandpa. When we sit in the living area the staff ask if we need anything and even offer refreshments. There is lots of laughter and love not just from the residents but the staff as well. We are still so thankful for all they do to take care of him. Thank you Silver Creek team.

My dad was old school very stubborn and refusing to move out of his home but then he met the staff of Silver Creek and just by sharing their love with him he decided to give it a go. He meant with the executive director and the marketing manager they answered his questions honestly without any pressure fanfare no promises made that weren't kept he was happy until he moved on to Glory thank you Silver Creek for making my dad's last year's full of fun events, great friends and a staff that knows how to honor and respect seniors.

After living on their own for 93 years I moved my parents into Silver Creek. The accommodations are wonderful; so cheerful and clean. The food is so good and most of all the staff is over the top great! They respond eagerly to any request I have on behalf of my parents and they are so loving. They were very caring and attentive during my mother's last days and have taken great care of my father since her passing. I am extremely grateful for this community.

I can't speak to the goings on within this place, but as a neighbor that knows every time emergency services are on site (at all hours of the day and night), it makes sleep for our children sometimes impossible. Understandably, the elderly need care without a moment's notice, but when fire alarms go off for almost an hour in the middle of the night, even though the fire dept and sheriffs have been on site for almost all of it, COULD YOU TURN OFF THE ALARMS, PLEASE?!?!? Our kids get woken up, and getting them back down is awful. Note that, this happens with more frequency, and our kids are special needs. So frustrating that protocol seems wonky. We've learned to tune out (mostly) the sounds of sirens, but for Pete's sake! If the emergency services are on site, it seems outrageous for alarms to go off for an hour....
