Highly recommended ! The building is well kept, clean, and comfortable without an overly institutional feeling some assisted living can have. It has a genuine sense of home. The staff here are amazing. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and kind, and you can tell they care about the people who live there. The nursing staff are thorough, responsive, and on top of things. Heather and Kelly communicate well, follow through, and take the time to make sure residents are cared for properly. It's clear that the residents are more than just names on a schedule. The staff seem to know them personally and treat them with respect and compassion!

The only problem we had was it took a long time to get the meal, but that may have been because we had not pre-ordered. Would we go again? Absolutely! I was super impressed after touring this facility for my mother. Andrew, the director, is a fantastic ambassador for the facility. His communication is extremely helpful and he is willing to work with all types of complicated situations. There is so much to offer here, from a delicious cafeteria to ice cream bistro and multiple activity rooms. They also take residents on field trips to various locations. There are several choices for room configurations that can meet the needs of a variety of residents. Can’t say how much I was impressed with this facility and Andrew in general! I am very hopeful that my mother will get to spend her last days in this wonderful place.

My parents moved into Bozeman Lodge 3 months ago. I waited to write this review to see how all aspects of their new living arrangements would be before commenting on this facility. They love it here. The staff is wonderful. They had a small need for maintenance in their room and the maintenance staff was there the same day to address their small request. The facility is very clean and smells good. There is a daily breakfast, lunch and dinner featured items menu with two to three different options to choose from PLUS if they don't want these featured items then they are able to order off the standard menu which has a good selection of items (ex: hamburger, chef salad, etc etc.). They also Love the variety of activities, both on-site and off-site that are available to keep them active and engaged. I liked the fact that there are 2 elevators, just in case one was being worked on. They especially enjoy the few of the mountains from their room.

Andrew Steighner was introduced to my daughter and me when we came in to Bozeman Lodge on a day we were just looking at places for my 86 year old Dad to relocate to from Portland OR. He showed us around and was very informative. We left with a folder with all the info we needed to send to my Dad. We had visited several places that day and Bozeman Lodge, Andrew was our first choice. We mailed info on several to my Dad. He chose Bozeman Lodge and wanted a move in date of November 1st, 2024 for independent living. To make a long story short...We needed to move him in sooner. Within a week we had my Dad in Bozeman and by the luck of the universe Andrew was able to help us get him in and settled. Andrew went above and beyond for our Dad and he is an amazing asset to Bozeman Lodge. Stress was relieved. Thank you Andrew, from the bottom of our hearts.

My Mother has been in the Bozeman Lodge for almost two years. And in that two years, I have been nothing but impressed. From the moment I met Andrew and the staff I could tell that they truly cared about the people living there and that has shown through over and over. My situation allows me to visit my Mom at the Lodge 6-7 days a week, not occasionally like most children. So I have come to see the workings of the Lodge and the difficulties that arise in keeping a large number of Independent Minded elderly humans healthy, safe, organized, engaged, and happy. I have seen the issues in staffing (a common problem in the Bozeman job market). I have seen normal issues that happen to a building that caused disruptions for the residents. I have seen the staff have to navigate under corporate rules that do not always allow for local flexibility. And sadly I have seen staff treated poorly by children of residents who expect nursing home care at an assisted living facility. Through it all I have seen the Bozeman Lodge staff handle the issues with professionalism, flexibility, caring and empathy... going above and beyond their job descriptions. It is a tough situation in life for all involved and the Bozeman Lodge staff understands that and they do their Best. The Physical therapy and Occupational therapy offered on premises has been extremely helpful to my Mother and the people who provide it are amazing at what they do. The Nursing staff has been awesome with my Mother as well. They thoughtfully navigate the balance between her desire for no help at all from anybody with giving her the care she needs. I do not envy their job. When she does ask for help though, they are there as quick as possible. The nurses are also more than happy to stop in the hallway and give me an update on my Mom, Miss Lois. My Mother at 90 is not an easy human to deal with. "Spicy" is a nice way of describing her. Yet the staff always finds the goodness in her. They truly care about her and my Mother feels it. At her age, to feel valued means so very much. As my Mother moves towards hospice I am glad that she will end her life in a place where so many people care for and love her. There are many good things that Bozeman Lodge has to offer but from a son's perspective, what more could I ask for than my Mom being loved and cared for. Thank you Bozeman Lodge for making my Mom's last two years the best they could be in her situation. To Andrew and ALL the staff at Bozeman Lodge...From a Loving Son's heart...I appreciate all you do and how you do it...I am Grateful and I Thank you. Craig Swatland

We were very recently faced with an emergent situation requiring the relocation of my wife's brother from Missoula to an assisted living arrangement here in Bozeman. Fortunately for our family, Andrew Steighner, the GM of Bozeman Lodge, did not hesitate to go above-and-beyond the call of duty to assist us in expediting this difficult and urgent situation, making thie corresponding transition process far less complicated than otherwise would have been expected. Andrew and his incredible staff members have been extremely cooperative, pleasant and professional; the rooms and facilities are quite spacious and attractive, and the food offered to residents seems top-notch, as well. Consequently, it came as no real surprise when we learned that Bozeman Lodge had been voted the area's best assisted living facility for 2023.

My 91 year old mother recently had a surgical procedure, and my family was unable to provide the necessary care for a few days after her release from the hospital. A hospital case worker mentioned that the Bozeman Lodge had a temporary respite care program. The respite care was just what we wanted. I found the service was quick and efficient, and all the staff have been excellent. I would recommend The Bozeman Lodge’s respite care to anyone in need of a temporary solution to a medical situation.

I was perhaps overly cautious at my first visit as looking for a care facility for my mom came with substantial expectations. From our first visit and tour with their General Manager, Andrew, my fears and suspicions were alleviated and I grew quite fond of the Bozeman Lodge. My siblings and I have been comparing assisted living sites in Illinois and in Bozeman, and in all honesty, Bozeman Lodge surpasses everything we looked into. The rooms are fantastic and the rates were upwards of $1000 less than all the places in Illinois that we looked at while providing many more features and amenities. Not only was I impressed by Andrew's kind demeanor and knowledge of the needs for adult care, but every encounter with staff there helped us to feel settled and confident. In the end, our decision was to keep our 90 year old mother in Wheaton because she has now put down roots there for over 70 years and it was too hard to give up what was so familiar. With other parents getting on in years, I expect to be revisiting Bozeman Lodge as my first choice in this area.

My mother spent the last six years of her life at Bozeman Lodge, an appealing facility that is clean, well maintained, and has recently undertaken some very nice updates and renovations. While living there, my mother enjoyed the company of friends she made and took part in many of the activities and events put on by the lodge, from bingo and bridge to Wednesday wine and music and weekly field trips. I always appreciated the creativity and effort the staff put into keeping things fun, light, and interesting for the residents. My mother was always treated with respect and dignity and so appreciative of the warm, sincere, helpful, competent staff - dining room, front desk, aids, activities, maintenance, and medical. When my mother became ill and had more needs in her last months, the lodge staff was really there for her. They all knew her by name and were apprised of her condition. After her passing, their condolences were sincere and heartfelt, with many sharing stories that went way back to her early years at the lodge. Bozeman Lodge met our needs at a common but complicated time in the life of a family. We will miss the staff and our regular visits to Bozeman Lodge!

I went to a chamber of comm. after hours event last night hosted by bozeman lodge. The food was amazing. By far the best I have ever tasted at an after hours event. The chef Lou or Louie really knows his trade.
