They do not have nurses on duty. They let residents lay on the floor for 45 min before a family has to call and tell them because they do not answer call lights. They do not pass meds like they are supposed to. If you care for your loved one, STAY AWAY!

My 92-year-old grandmother has been living at Brentwood for some time now. When she first moved in, she was completely self-sufficient, but over the past year, a few strokes have significantly impacted her ability to care for herself. Through this challenging period, Feliz has been an incredible support. She has expertly guided us, helped us connect with top-notch specialists, and, most importantly, ensured that my grandmother receives outstanding care. Feliz is available at any time of day and always makes us feel valued, never like a bother. She even goes above and beyond by checking on issues that have already been addressed. As a nurse with many years of experience, I can confidently say that finding administration that truly cares is rare, and Feliz is a remarkable example of this dedication. Murray has also been a blessing. His care extends beyond the patient to include the family. For instance, one night when my mother and I were at Brentwood and there had been some unsettling incidents in the area, Murray took it upon himself to ensure we made it back safely, even though we hadn't asked for his assistance. His actions reflect his genuine character. Watching Murray interact with my grandmother, it's clear that he treats her with the same love and respect he would show his own mother. Our family is very close-knit, and we now consider Brentwood an extension of our family. Thanks to the compassionate staff at Brentwood, the end-of-life experience has been made far more comfortable and dignified.

We just moved my 91 year old mom into Brentwood. The experience all of the way up until move in day was amazing. Anna was exceptional in her response time and attention to detail. When we first checked out the place, the front desk gentleman was so kind and personable. All of the staff seem so personable. We even observed the residents - all smiles. It's reassuring to know that my mom is in a place that cares.

Brentwood made an excellent decision with staff member Felice P. Initially, I had some reservations about entrusting my father's care to someone other than myself. However, a sudden work commitment necessitated this decision. From the moment I contacted Felice, she demonstrated patience and kindness in addressing my numerous inquiries. The overall atmosphere at Brentwood is warm and reassuring, providing me with a sense of peace. I am grateful for the exceptional care provided.

Brentwood has the best management, staff and nursing staff in Northwest Indiana! Normally moving from one assisted living facility to another would be a very difficult transition but thanks to Brentwood's attention to detail and the staffs' can do attitude, her move was seemless. On 1-9-24 the camera in my mom's room showed she was sick. I called the receptionist and asked her to send someone to help her. Less than 2 minutes 2 aides came in and were so kind and took very good care of her. This was so comforting to our family to know how the receptionist and aides understood the urgency and took great care to make sure our mom was ok.

My father was unable to live alone and after researching Brentwood and taking a tour we both felt that this would be a good choice. He has now been there for several years and after an adjustment period he has settled in. The employees for the most part are very friendly and helpful. I am confident and comfortable in the care he receives even though he can't be in his own home anymore. I can rest assured that he is in good hands. I also have found it to be a very clean and safe environment.Thanks for giving me peace of mind!

Everyone, and I do mean everyone, I’ve met at Brentwood has been a real blessing to me and my dad. The staff, NP and all the nurses are first class, caring and so very helpful. There is one individual I’d like to express my gratitude to, Jason at the front desk. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving I picked up my dad from the hospital in East Chicago and brought him to Brentwood in the evening. I was mentally exhausted, stressed out to the max, and not far from tears. Jason, with his calm voice and caring attitude made all the difference. I will always remember Jason’s kindness to me at that time! Thank you!

I went to Brentwood of Hobart with my friend who's mom is in memory care to visit. I was totally amazed at what I saw, first as we were walking by an office this women named Cindy greeted my friend and even myself and started to walk with us to her mothers room. When my friends mom saw her(Cindy) all she kept saying is how much she loved her. This was incredible ! As I stepped into the hallway I had watched her with other residents and they seem to adore her. All I can say is Wow! What a blessing for these people, this is someone I want to take care of my family. As we were leaving I noticed the activities lady engaging with all of them. This place is incredible I just can't stop talking about wha I have seen today. Thank you Brentwood for having such a caring staff.

The staff at Brentwood have all been very kind, polite and seem to like where they work and what they do. The facility impressed me immediately upon entry. It is clean, bright and smells nice and clean. The apartments are the perfect size and my Mother loves living there so far. The other tenants seem to love living there as well which speaks volumes for how they are being treated and taken care of. Would definitely recommend Brentwood to others for their elderly loved ones.

When I first walked in to Brentwood at Hobart, I was amazed at the homelike feeling I had. Residents and staff greet you when you walk in and make you feel right at home. The team at this community is dedicated to ensuring the residents come first. The community is clean, the caregivers are excellent, there are activities for everyone, and the food is so good! Of all places I have visited regarding catering to the needs of our seasoned individuals, Brentwood has proven to be the best facility when it comes to meeting the needs of its residents. from providing multiple events and activities within the facility to providing options for outings giving the residents a choice of a brief means of escape from daily routines, which ranges from shopping at various stores to leisure encounters such as movie theaters and many other outing options in between. Brentwood also contains some of the best in-house caregiving services anyone can find no need to come out of pocket to keep the residents with the best health possible unless you choose because it will provide the best service the health care needs with the addition of having a clean environment due to top-notch housekeeping. Furthermore numerous amenities are available to all Brentwood residents as well if he-she desires to do any shopping without going too far away from the community. Overall, Brentwood of Hobart will not disappoint when it comes to meeting the needs of his residence so that the residents can continue to enjoy life and live comfortably

We recently moved our mom into Brentwood. All of the staff are cheerful, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Fellow resident "ambassadors" assist new residents in feeling comfortable and welcome. Their "a la carte" services are far superior to other, more expensive facilities. The food is good and the apartments are nice. The dining hall and entryway have a nice motel feel.

I am moving my father into this community. The community is bright and happy and cheerful. They staff are very upbeat and always try and make you feel at home. My father is liking the activities that will benefit him. I am sure that he will be happy here. I liked that the other residents look so very happy and that makes me feel safe to know that he will have excellent care.
