I lived here while Joyce wilder was there and one thing that i can say is that the Administration team did care for the safety of the resident. Joyce Wilder was a ticking bomb especially when she drinks, she would try to fight the entire building including staff members. Her daughter came to the facility and displayed the same attitude of Joyce when she gets drunk. (The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree if you know what I mean. Furthermore, her daughter Angel would keep her mom's check and wouldn't pay her rent. Thats why she got an eviction, I was one happy camper when she left. Everyone knows that if you are living in this type of facilities you have to turn over your income including link cards and that was before the state deemed you ineligible for link if you live in the facility. The building has been very quiet since she left. Overall, my short-term living experience here at Robbins was like a home away from home.

**** this place. I have a loved one who is a resident here. During this pandemic his room was left a total mess. His medication makes him fall asleep all day and when wakes up, he has no food, because they do not bother to save him something to go for later. People with mental health disorders require a lot of help with keeping their room clean, eating meals, and making sure they take their medication everyday.

I have worked for Robbins SLF for over a year and I still feel excited coming into work as I did on my first day. Just like any other facility or business there are pros and cons, but what makes Robbins SLF stand out from the rest is that they always listen, seek feedback, and actually make improvements where its needed. What I enjoy most about working at Robbins SLF is the friendly atmosphere, our residents and employees never fail to make you feel at home!
