My sister Billie received the best care at Prairie Green at Fay's Pointe in Blue Island IL. The entire staff from front desk, management, nursing,cna,dining,hospitality, activity, physical therapy, etc. played a big part in her feeling welcome and enjoying daily living. My mom lived at Prairie Green at Fay's Point for the past six+ years, and during that time I came to deeply appreciate the care and responsiveness of the entire team. The staff and Director consistently struck the right balance: they took care of the small, day-to-day details without needing to involve me unnecessarily, while making sure to reach out when something important came up. That thoughtful approach made such a difference for both my mom and for me as her caregiver. On more than a couple of occasions, I truly believe their attentiveness and proactive communication made the difference between my mom maintaining her quality of life and slipping through the cracks of our larger health care system. Knowing she was in such capable, compassionate hands gave me peace of mind and allowed her to live with dignity and comfort. I am deeply grateful for the way Prairie Green supported my mom throughout these years and for the kindness they showed to our family. While she recently passed away after battling some physical challenges, I was reminded of the kindness of the staff and the strength of the community that exists and is fostered there - both residents and staff - while packing up her belongings. I would strongly recommend this facility.

The staff is awesome, they are caring, friendly, and supportive to both the residents and their families. The rooms are the perfect size. And the nursing staff is great and accessible. I am looking forward to my Mother moving into Prairie Green at Fay’s Point in the next couple of weeks. We went for a tour and we were both pleased with community. All the staff was very nice and welcoming including the Executive Director, Nurse Director, Chef, The Nurse on the 4th floor. I spoke with some Residents and they are pleased with the community. More importantly my Mother was pleased. Thank you, Pat and the entire staff at Prairie Green at Fay’s Point for making our decision for Mother’s new residence peaceful

I was assisting my mom for looking for another place to reside for her disabled brother. We looked into other locations for him, however once we came to Prairie Green at Fay’s Point and met with Pat E., we knew that he would be taken care of there. Pat is very patient, pleasant, and informative. She made our stressful situation become less stressful knowing that their staff and facility would be able to accommodate him. The facility is nice and clean. It always smell pleasant as well. Pat has never rushed our visit. She is always helpful. Thank you Pat. We look forward to seeing more of you and the rest of the staff. Thanks for making this transition as pleasant as possible.

I am extremely happy with Prairie Green at Fay’s Point! My mother has resided in this beautiful senior community for a month and she absolutely loves it. She’s able to socialize regularly and participate in fun activities, enjoy three daily restaurant style meals, and receive assistance with daily tasks as needed. Her excitement for life has improved and this is so rewarding! Pat (Sales/Marketing) and Stephanie (Activities) have gone the extra mile to help my mom get acclimated to the community. Everyone is so helpful and kind, and from the moment you walk in you are greeted with music, clean, fresh hallways, and beautiful seasonal decor. I am so thankful to have found Prairie Green!

My family and I are extremely pleased with Prarie Green at Fay’s point. Prior to my dad moving in my family and I received the most amazing , efficient support with getting our loved one prepared to move into their community. The apartments are cozy and safe and my dad is adjusting well.

Hands down the most caring and hands on senior living facility. My dad transitioned here after rehabbing at the nursing home. From day one even before he moved in, they were accomodating and on point. My dad is doing better here than he was living independently. Their care and support allows me to also get my life back and be his daughter again.

From day one when I called to get started on the application for our father, Jennifer Borrero have sat out in the hot sun with social distancing explaining all that was entailed in this process. Thank you. When all was finally approved, thank you, you called to let me know that could transfer our father to his new residence with Prairie Green at Fay’s Point. We were able to him there 8-17-2020 with your full support and the staff, thank you. Jennifer, you sent videos and pictures of his apartment and we were able to prepare very well because of your endless doings. I wish I could write more because you did more than I could ever expect for us. Our father loves this new change in his life. Thank you again.

Wow! What can I say? Sometimes the words Thank You are mere utterances that fail to capture my true gratitude! The decision to find what may be a loved one’s final resting place is no easy decision. The entire team has been phenomenal. Jennifer Borrero has gone above and beyond! She called from vacation to check on us. She stayed late and communicated frequently. In so doing, she restored my faith in the decency of people and affirmed my belief that some jobS are callings that have the right people at the right time. Thank you!!

The staff here is great all around from housekeeping to management. Staff is always pleasant helpful and vigilant. I appreciate their awareness and caring about the resident's well being in general. I placed my dad at Fays Point about 3 months ago, and he can be cranky and difficult. Since his arrival, his personality has taken a full 180 degrees to the positive. He is always smiling, ready to greet visitors and just a completely different pleasant person. He appears happier than I have seen him in the past few years. My family and I appreciate everything this wonderful staff has done for us. Thanks and kudos to your fantastic staff at Fays Point. P.S. In desperate pursuit of a thoroughly secure and professionally staffed "A" rated "Assisted Living Community" that was Medicare, Medicaid and Private Pay compliant including pet friendly. These factors played a pivotal role in the initial and final decisions in selecting "Prairie Green at Fay's Point in Blue Island Illinois as my mother's newly found home. I had a tour with Mr.Vincent White, Coordinator (Lord forgive me if I am getting his title incorrect) what I do know for sure is that from our initial phone conversation when I called to inquire about housing for a friend, Vincent has been a great help with answering my questions and addressing my concerns. And when I met him for my tour at Prairie Green Fay's Point I was very pleased with the friendly staff and the facility appearances from the time I entered the parking lot. It feels like a place to call home. The single and one bedroom units are nice and more spacious than what I anticipated both units offer nice and accommodating amenities. The common areas for the residents are spacious and I must have arrived at lunch time because the food aroma made me hunger(Smelt so good), they offer an array of in-house services and if you or anyone you may know are looking for a place for Mom or Dad you should call and schedule a tour for your loved one. I am a Senior Real Estate Specialist and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this senior community to my loved ones and my clients. Oh' and did I mention that the community is 'so fresh and so clean clean' and is a newer facility. The activities seem very exciting to me, on my tour I was shown their art room that was filled with beautiful puzzles and what was fascinating about that to me was the fact that a brother and sister did the majority of those puzzle together, that made me think of my own Mother and how she spent hours of her leisure putting together her puzzles and catching my siblings and I as we came it and out the house, making us sit down and find a few pieces (It was all about the Quality Time). What caught my attention the most is the fact that as I observed the residents, they seem happy and like they love their environment, it was buzzing and a happy atmosphere.

All we can say is , boy what happened ? Did we strike it rich !! After three other assisted living homes we finally found the Perfect place to live. We really mean what we say. The staff is A-1, the Best ! After we ate meals at other places we Can say Prairie Green at Fay’s point is the finest we have ever had. When we first got there, we were served . After breakfast we met a co-ordinaries and she asked us a few questions, and took us on a tour. Really nice place. The rooms are kind of small but very clean and modern.

This facility was treating residents with much respect until many of the staff members behaved in an ill manner and were fired. Now residents are being neglected because of lack of staff and reorganization. In a senior living facility there should never be a situation as such.
