From my ten years of experience the staff at Woodlands Creek is family. My parents lived in Independent Living for several years, then Assisted Living. After six years my mom passed away, leaving my dad alone the last four years. His last two years were in Memory Care. During this ten year period we had many health related events. The staff was wonderful with attentive follow-up care and always interacted with my parents in a respectful caring manor. The management of this facility is the best! I always noticed that the staff was well recruited and managed well. It is a happy place! This is critical with the nursing and CNA staff. I never felt like my parents were neglected and the nursing staff always kept me in the loop if something like a fall occurred. Socialization and activities are offered at every level of care. We really liked the size of the facility, as some other homes are so big I can see elders feeling lost. The buildings and apartments are well kept and clean. This year a total remodel to the Assisted Living building is near complete giving it fresh modern appeal well thought out common spaces.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Woodlands Creek Senior Living. From the moment I walked in, the warmth and friendliness of the staff were evident. They truly go above and beyond to make residents feel at home. The facility itself is beautifully maintained by the maintenance and housekeeping staff, with spacious, well-lit common areas and comfortable apartments. The activity directors go above and beyond to ensure there is a variety of activities and social events offered to keep residents engaged and active. The healthcare staff is attentive and professional, it's clear they genuinely care about the residents and their families which shows in the longevity that they've been at Woodlands Creek. Additionally, the dining options are impressive, with a diverse menu that caters to various dietary needs and preferences. Overall, Woodlands Creek is a wonderful place! I am an independent living resident and enjoy my apartment, building, neighbors, and staff for approximately 3 years. Everything is convenient for me grocery stores, pharmacies, medical facilities, and shopping. I have issues with the food preparation sometimes, but I do speak up. The wait staff, receptionist, housekeeping, and maintenance are the bomb. Good place to live/retire.

My father Charles Kline lived at Woodlands Creek Senior living… he was at SilverCrest building in 2015-2016. He was cared for daily and he loved it there! He had fell and broke his hip in which was his fault that he fell. My father was active in all the activities and talked to everyone. He felt loved by the staff too! I knew he was taken care of to his needs and I could go to work each day with confidence! I'm just glad we found the best of care. I miss him dearly but just knowing that he was taken care of was a load taken off my shoulders! I certainly miss the staff and care they provided to my Dad! Thank you all for what you do on a daily basis.

Since 2015 the residents of Woodlands Creek have been volunteering with Meals from the Heartland. It is always a pleasure to work with the residents while they label our meal bags. We bring the supplies to them once a month and we stay while they work for two hours. They are doing important work while visiting with their fellow residents and possibly getting to make some new friends. Jasna has always been a great supporter and it's obvious that the residents think a lot of her. She is great about advertising the event so that they have a good turnout. It is a joy to work with Woodlands Creek.

We moved our 94 year old mom into Woodlands Creek last week. The staff is outstanding and have been more than helpful as we settle her into her new apartment. The residents are friendly and she is feeling a real sense of community. She loves the many selections on the menu and described it as "delicious comfort food". My mother's experience in independent living and later assisted living/memory care over that last two+ years has been excellent. When challenges have arisen, staff have been very responsive. My mother has been living at Woodlands Creek Independent living for about a year now. It has been a great fit for her and she is very happy. One of the big reasons I love it is the longevity of the Staff. The director, Jasna, has been there many years, knows everyone by name, and is incredibly caring and personable. When my mother had a spell of feeling faint, they called me immediately and Jasna sat with her in her room until I got there. Everyone who works there does their best to meet the needs of their residents.

Woodlands Creek is an amazing place! When looking for assisted living for my mother after her stroke, we found that we were very impressed with everything they could provide for her. The apartments are beautiful, the activities are awesome, the food is yummy (we've had several opportunities to sample and enjoy), and the pricing is very reasonable. There are so many things that make Woodlands Creek such a great place, but what impressed us the most was the staff. We have been overwhelmed by their love and support, not only for my mom, but all of us as well. They truly are our family. Words cannot express just how amazing they all are! They have such an exceptional, longstanding staff that continues to amaze us! We are so very blessed to have each and every one of them care for my mom! She is thriving! Approximately two years ago I did a review of Woodlands Creek and it was outstanding then as it is now. My wife and I have been here approximately 5 + years now and the quality and professionalism of the staff has remained steadfast. During the pandemic they took extraordinary steps to ensure our safety and health and early on made vaccinations available as well as took actions to protect us with mask and building restriction policies as necessary. The primary team/staff of Kristine Toms, Kevin Moeckly, Jasna Beganovic, Kathy Francis, Brett Youll, Almir Kandzic, Brian Oldenburg, Anthony Hutch, Britney Nilles and Gina Graham provide exceptional leadership to an already outstanding group of employees. They are all caring and compassionate individuals who provide for our needs daily. Bottom line is the outstanding quality of the staff is what makes Woodlands Retirement Community so special. When we took the tour we were impressed by a number of things, Brightness of building and cleanliness,friendliness of all we met, all the "EXTRAS',the food .My apartment was ready to move in top to bottom. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for the Woodland's Creek Senior living community. It felt like home from the first time we stopped in to look around. Everyone is always extremely helpful and friendly. My family has been a part of this community for about 10 years and I will say that I have always felt that both of my parents have been in great hands. Welcoming, Bright, Clean, Caring, Family. All words to describe this place. My grandparents moved to Woodlands Independent Living Center around 10 years ago. The staff treated them like family from day one. As their health declined our family made the hardest decision to move them to Assisted Living. The greatest part was, that we were not alone during that decision. The staff who had become like family, guided us through it, and made the transition smooth. The best part is the assisted living has the caring staff that we had in independent in the same complex. My grandfather unfortunately passed in 2019. Once again, I was amazed at the tender and loving care that my grandpa received. He was able to stay in his residence and receive hospice care. There are no words to describe how peaceful his passing was due to Woodlands Creek. When Covid arrived, nothing changed. The staff were able to make sure we maintained in communication with our family, and my grandmother never felt the stress that Covid had on the rest of the world. They made sure to create a place to talk with my grandmother so we were able to visit at a safe distance. My grandmother is still currently residing there and I wouldnt change it for the world. If you want a safe, clean, friendly, helpful place for your loved one to live, look no farther. Youve found it at Woodlands Creek, the place where youre all family.

Residents are friendly and activities are starting to pick up again after Covid. In the past weve had 2 Bean Bag Baseball teams who played in competition against other facilities. After my father passed, my husband and I visited several independent living facilities. We narrowed them down to three, then took my mother to visit those three. She selected Woodlands Creek Independent Living. She lived in her apartment for two years before experiencing some health complications. She decided it was time to move to the Assisted Living building. Her transition couldnt have been smoother. The Director of Nursing visited my mother before and after her transition. The staff from the Independent AND the Assisted Living buildings worked together to ease the transition. And one of the things my mother still talks about was how much she appreciated walking into her new home and seeing her friends from Independent Living. They are her extended family. Shortly after she moved to Assisted Living, COVID-19 turned ugly. For the safety of all, the residents were confined to their apartments. But family could visit via windows or FaceTime, Zoom or anyway possible to stay in touch safely. This precaution, although not the preferred method, kept COVID away from the residents. NOT ONE ASSISTED LIVING RESIDENT CONTRACTED COVID! We are so happy my mother chose Woodlands Creek from the numerous facilities we checked out. We have not had one day of regret in the three years she has lived there. We hope she has many more years to be with Woodlands Creek and her extended family!

My husband and I have been residents of Woodlands Independent Living for 3 years. We can think of no better place to call home. This has been especially true this last year with Covid 19. The staff have gone to extra lengths to keep us safe and healthy, all the while keeping a great attitude and smiles for us residents. We cant thank them enough. Oh yes, this is our home and we love it!
