We are so very impressed with the support from the team at Dodge Park. Our brother Chris moved in on Wednesday. The staff have been incredibly supportive. Greeted in a friendly helpful manner to use sign in kiosk easy explanation of the elevator and its use - escorted to the proper room. My friend needed assistance while in her bathroom - asked me to tell the front desk - they promptly sent some to assist. The place seems well staffed with skilled and pleasant people. My Mom has been at Dodge Park for a few years. Every time we visit with her she is so alert, happy and so focused. She has improved so much in the time that she has been there. They keep her busy and active. We love the staff. The staff takes such good care of her and every one. They call me with every little update she has. We went to visit my Mom yesterday, she was happy and so excited to see us. The staff is always very pleasant. I can see that she is well cared for. She talks about her daily activities. Staff was very attentive and pleasant but there a lot more rules and procedures for visitors than the last place my mother lived. She just moved into Dodge Park so I'm sure we'll get used to the new system. She seems happy/content and the transition seems to be going well, so that's the most important thing.

Staff were friendly and helpful - greeted us (visitors) in a professional and friendly manner, helped fill our flower vase with water, responded quickly to resident requests during our visit, and were patient with our relative who has constant needs and requests. The library is a nice little room with a fireplace and gorgeous woodwork. I was impressed that I saw air purifiers in every room I visited. The atmosphere is calm , quiet, and organized. The only thing I found a bit lacking was some humor and personal connection between staff and residents. The staff seemed very serious and not socially interactive, but they have a tough job and are busy. When my Dad was in a nursing home in North Carolina, he interacted with at least one staff member when she came to help. He was a very quiet guy, but we know that he waited for her shift to start before he took his final breath. Keep up the good work!!!!!

It's scary when you have to make a move to place a parent in a home. I think we were lucky when Dodge accepted our Mom. She has been a resident for only 2 months, but the staff treat her like she's been there much longer! Everyone is so warm and friendly, mom is well cared for, facility very clean and well run! My Mom Valerie Kustigian was in Dodge Park for four months and was treated wonderfully. One of the last things Mom said to me was the staff treated her very well and felt loved by the people at Dodge Park. My experience was also outstanding, from the Business Office to the Nursing staff was terrific. One of the owners Micha Shalev was great to work with. My mother has been a resident at Dodge Park Rest Home for more than 2 years. This facility is amazing. Every employee is well trained in strategies to interact with dementia patients. They make the residents feel comfortable and LOVED. The residents truly believe they are part of their family. The two owners of the facility were destined to take care of the elderly. It is their true calling. The administration only excepts the best from their employees. If you are looking for a safe place for your loved one, please check out this rest home. It is comforting to know that their is always someone there to hold my mother's hand or give her a much needed hug!

Our mom is sweet and dear to us and Dodge Park Rest Home has been such a blessing to her. She is cared for lovingly in a lovely environment that has perfect soothing yet social and fun activities for someone with severe dementia. Having my mother placed at Dodge Park was definitely one of the best things that could have happened for her with her dementia. I find that the staff is extremely competent, takes great care of my mother,,communicate often and are always available to chat and all are Very kind from top to bottom to all their residents all the time. My wife Jeannie has been a resident at Dodge Park for five years. During the past couple of years she has been bed ridden. The nurses and staff have taken loving care under these difficult circumstances. This involves repositioning her on a regular schedule to avoid developing sores. Involves feeding her and changing her as needed. We are in difficult times with the threat of the deadly virus. So many nursing homes have had disastrous out breaks . Dodge Park acted very early to shut down the facility and as a result their residents have been uniformly protected. I missed seeing Jeannie for all those months but I have come to understand and appreciate the proactive effort. My thanks to Ben, Micha, Meri , Carrie and staff. . Paul O’Hara.

After three failed placements for our mother, we discovered Dodge Park. She went there a year ago in December. Thank heavens! Two months later Covid19 erupted. Management at Dodge Park took action immediately, closing the facility off, implementing use of PPE, instituting frequent staff and resident testing (often at their own expense), installing UV light fixtures in the ceiling, and continuing to care for and give families reports on the residents. They have been successful at preventing the major outbreaks that have plagued so many other long term care facilities, and have kept our mother safe. The owners, Micha and Ben are very caring people who hold their staff to high standards. The staff, many of whom have been there for numerous years, are also very caring and accessible to family members. I highly recommend Dodge Park and it’s team of dedicated professionals.

- Confirm with community manager that living and services required for you or your loved one's unique needs and budget are met.

Assisted Living Center uses the term "assisted living" or "personal care" to inform users that a community provides assistance with some Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). It may not meet your state's legal definition required for that level of care.
