I toured today and this community is beautiful and very clean! They were playing piano for the residents when I walked in and I was pleased to see a large audience. I felt so welcomed as staff greeted me by my name while on the tour. We will be moving my aunt in soon!

I have lived here for 3 months and can say that I have made a great choice for me and my wife. The food here is incredible. They have a great Director- Cody. All of the staff are very friendly and make this feel like home. There are a lot of variety in activities that we enjoy.

My experience with Signal Mt. Sr. Living and that facilities management interface with us, Cindy, while searching for a long term care facility for my wife's sister was exceptional. Cindy supported us enthusiastically and consistently followed up and met our requests for help and information.The facility is beautiful and well staffed by attentive and professional workers. The meals shared with us were very tasty and fresh.

As clergy, and Assisted Living chaplain throughout most of my career, I would like to express that Signal Mountain Senior living has been one of the best examples of quality and professionalism I have witnessed. The nursing director and her staff provide exemplary care and compassion, and go above and beyond to insure the residents needs are met and exceeded. It is comforting as someone in my position, to watch the interactions between the nursing staff and the residents. The residents are treated with love and dignity.

I helped my 90 year old grandparents tour here last week, just to check it out. Jennifer Jolly was our tour guide and used a hard-sell tactic after I made it clear there would be no decision made that day. She also asked me if my grandmother had dementia and was sundowning right in front of her (she was not). It was extremely inappropriate. It seemed that she thought neither my grandparents nor I had any autonomy over the situation. It’s safe to say I’m disappointed, and left disturbed by her behavior, as well as the follow-up calls to my father.

After touring several facilities in Chattanooga, my father-in-law chose this facility for several reasons including the welcoming staff; the menu options in dining (if he doesn't want the meal they planned for dinner, he can order off a menu with several other options); the activities scheduled daily; and the friendliness of the other residents. We have been extremely pleased with our experience with the Signal Mountain Senior Living group and are pleased with our decision to help him move there in July 2023. While the decision to move into assisted living is a difficult, emotional and timely process for all involved (resident and family members), the staff at Signal Mountain Senior Living was with our family every step along the way in our process and continue to respond to any questions/concerns, etc. in a prompt and efficient manner. All while making sure my father-in-law is well taken care of, happy and fed. Another perk is the 89-year-old man couldn't and wouldn't gain weight past 140 lbs for the past 5 years due to some health and mobility issues - since moving into the facility, he's gained 15 lbs and is moving daily as well as eating 3 meals a day happily. Thank you Signal Mountain SL! We appreciate all of you!

A few weeks ago I started researching and touring Independent and Assisted Living Apartments for my Mom without her knowledge. Mom has been diagnosed with Dementia but is very capable of living on her own, for now. She wanted me to promise i would never put her in a home. I took her to brunch at a retirement apartment complex and she fell in love with the idea I being in a community with folks her age and activities and meals.Then I drove her through your complex and she said now this looks more like a cozy home. So I set up a second tour with Mindy. Mindy helped me so much the first tour . She asked all the right questions and also gave me great and very helpful feedback. I knew it would be the right fit for Mom, but I had to convince her. Second tour with Mom went well. Mindy set us up for dinner in the diner and placed us at a table with two lovely residents. Mom was a little reserved until Mindy took her to see three different apartments. She was blown away at the size and beauty and also with the fact they are being updated. Most of all I credit Mindy for making her feel at home and convincing Mom she is still going to be Independent living with help there if needed. Also she talked to her about potentially being an Ambassador on a new Welcoming Committee. That did it! Along with the fact you have a salon and future movie room and lots of activities. Mindy is having us back Tuesday and I will be putting a deposit down

Mother just recently passed away after two years at SMSL. Her apartment was lovely with a balcony and beautiful view! She eventually had to move to the 3rd floor because she was not able to do the stairs in case of fire. It was a great room also. I can't say enough positive things about the staff here. They went out of their way to take care of Mother and make her feel loved and safe. Everyone from the Nurses, Resident Assistants, Maintenance and Administration were outstanding! A special shout-out to [name removed] the chef and wait staff in the Dining Room.......Mother loved [name removed] cooking and she adored [name removed] too! It's hard to put a loved one into a facility when you can no longer take care of them but SMSL was a Godsend to me and my husband for the care and love they bestowed upon Mother. They were also so supportive of me when at times I would start to enter the rabbit hole of stress and anxiety over Mother. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts
