I have worked with the staff at Story Point for years and it has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff is incredibly attentive and compassionate, always going the extra mile to ensure that the residents are comfortable and well-cared for. The facility itself is clean, modern, and feels like home from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend Story Point to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones!

In the 2+ years of mom residing in assisted living at StoryPoint we have been very pleased with the facility. The last year has shown a significant improvement in staffing both in quantity and most importantly quality. As director of care, Mary was a driving force in implementing the culture of care that makes it top notch. Thanks for all the team does.

It can be overwhelming and scary thinking of where your loved one should live once they need additional care and support. Since we began our journey with StoryPoint, they have made the transition seamless and eased all of our worries. I knew the first time dad and I met Mary (now Executive Director) we had found his new home. The entire staff has been amazing when helping take care of my dad. They go above and beyond to make sure his needs are met and exceeded. They take a genuine interest in their residents. StoryPoint has been a blessing not only for my dad, but also our entire family. We have peace of mind knowing he is somewhere safe and loved. I sing their praises anytime I get a chance and will continue to do so.

Story Point is a well maintained and clean property. The community employees I have dealt with have been extremely helpful. They always make sure to have mom call me when she does not answer her phone, or help me with any personal favors since I live out of town. We get a monthly calendar of a variety of events or activities. My mom seems happy in the community. Mom has a courtyard apartment for 3 years and enjoys sitting on her patio outside.

I am so happy I found this facility. Staff is wonderful, food is fantastic, you truly feel like you are home. Everyone is very pleasant. The executive director Mary and the wellness director Cheryl are fantastic to work with. The open-door policy is wonderful. My father lives here in the memory care unit and all of his needs are met daily. I was looking for a Safe Place for his care and I hit the jackpot. He is Safe, he is well cared for, and more importantly he is given the dignity and respect he deserves at this stage in his life. I couldn't recommend a better place for anyone who is considering placing a family member in a memory care facility or anyone who is looking for an assisted living facility. Apartments are spacious. Plenty of activities and the food is very good. Thank You StoryPoint of Chattanooga for all you do. When I come to visit Dad, I truly feel I am not just visiting him, but I am also visiting with my second family. Sincerely a very happy family member of a resident Denyse DeGrouchy

Knowing my father-in-law is a resident at StoryPoint gives our family a peace of mind that is invaluable. We are so grateful he is somewhere that cares so well for him.

I've been employed at Storypoint/previously Manorhouse since 2017, and I'm waiting for my last paycheck because I quit due to the negativity and cold lack of concern for people that was inescapable under the new executive director, who was recently promoted to that position after being the wellness director. One example that is personal to me is that I've been trying for months to get paid my PTO hours and floating holiday hours, asking and having no effort put forth on my behalf, until I'm now hoping this public statement will prompt someone to give my legally owed compensation for the caregiving I've done as an LPN and previously a resident care assistant. And beyond my personal interest and grievance, I don't believe the facility will put other peoples' wellbeing first either. I've watched other wonderful caregivers leave due to lack of concern from management for the concerns they've brought to the administrator about the residents or themselves too. And while the residents and coworkers there now have been saddened by my own leaving, the administrator declined my offer to stay available as needed, seemingly and predictably out of foolish spite and immaturity. And she still has not given me the pay I've been missing by doing whatever needs to be done to correct some simple error in the pay system.

The staff is amazing. The facility is clean and updated. The residents get personal care which is awesome. They know everyone by name. The food is good and has lots of options, the chef seems to care about what the residents want. There's an outdoor courtyard within the facility which is nice. They have a wide variety of well planned activities within the facility and also out in the community. A great establishment.

A lovely place!
July 2023
Full disclosure, I did not end up committing to StoryPoint for my father's LTC, but I did have numerous phone calls and a tour of the memory care wing. Let me start by saying the whole reason I was behooved to write this review is because of the attentive, compassionate, and truly next level service I received from Gavin, the Community Specialist. Top notch outstanding! Questions were answered promptly with full transparency and he helped me form a more complete picture of my fathers care by asking me questions. He lead me on a tour and greeted every resident we encountered with a smile, and even helped one with their wheelchair. The support staff seemed genuine and kind. The facilities were great and did not have that signature odor that memory care facilities often do. Everything was pristinely clean and in good working order. I cant speak beyond that, but if you are looking for memory care, I absolutely recommend giving them a call at the very least.

I toured this facility for my mom recently with Lisa. She was so nice and seemed genuinely concerned about my mom's needs and my concerns for my mom. She answered all my questions and put me at ease. As we were touring, she knew the other residents names and would greet them as well. I was very impressed. This was a very pleasant experience.

Since my family member moved here the quality of food has gone down terribly. Breakfast is the only edible hot meal I've seen. Today they served this pizza, if you can call it that. My family member is in the memory care part and it's awful what they try to feed them Where are salads? For what they pay this is unacceptable. Also it's Sunday. Shouldn't this be a full meal.

Great place! Very clean and maintained really well. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I really think that they deserve a 10 rating.

As I go to this facility I find a caring staff that works hard at what they do. This is a big facility and those who understand how chaotic situations can be, they do care for the residents. No matter what facility i would take a loved one to I think i would like one that focused on my loved on before worrying about tidyness.

Very helpful staff and clean environment.
March 2019
After sitting in a meeting, today, where residents were encouraged to talk about any and everything about Manorhouse, I heard not one complaint from any of the residents. I did hear praise for the activities, housekeeping, laundry, etc. No place is perfect and there is no way to please everyone all the time. Let's face it...some people in this world just enjoy being negative, no matter what. But Manorhouse does listen to everyone and tries their best to be accommodating to both the residents and to their families, while maintaining quality care.

On every visit to Manorhouse, I am greeted by smiling faces and an extremely helpful staff. The residents are happy, well cared for and always engaged in an enjoyable activity. The building is light and cheerful and the grounds are gorgeous. When I shop for a new home for my dad, Manorhouse will be at the top of the list.

My first visit to Manorhouse Assisted Living & Memory Care in Chattanooga was a memorable experience. I was searching for a place to move my Aunt to and was so happy to find Manorhouse. All the staff were so helpful and friendly in showing us around this beautiful facility. I knew after seeing everything that the Manorhouse had to offer that my Aunt would be well taken care of during her golden years. I would recommend this community to anyone who is looking for a safe and warm place for their loved ones!
