Last week my daughter and I visited The Gatesworth and toured the facility for two hours. We were very impressed with both the host and hostess that showed us around and with facility and the grounds around it. Everyone was kind and helpful and friendly and we saw no downside. It is a wonderful place for an older person to spend their twilight years.

Keith Koehler is an incredible asset to the Gatesworth. His care and attention are unparalleled. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for many years and this man is a natural, sensitive, service oriented gift to the Gatesworth. The property is beautiful and the inclusions are outstanding. Their interest in serving the individual is at the heart of all interactions. This level of care is really touching.

This was an educational no pressure tour of the Gatesworth. The facilities are beautiful and have everything one could want. The toured several style and sizes of rooms, ate dinner and explored all around. It definitely feels like a luxury cruise ship. We were encouraged to come back at different times and join in some activities which we plan on doing.

It is an excellent place! I give them 4 stars because independent living seniors order often through Amazon, pharmacies mail etc. All deliveries get parked at the Gatesworth mail department. Residents have to wait 2 to 3 days to get a package after it has been delivered to the Gatesworth. It is very Sloppy management for a prestigious facility to save a few dollars in a couple of delivery assistants which probably get a rather low salary

I am so, so happy I made the move to the Gatesworth. I’m in my mid 70s and in good health and while some may think that is too soon to make a move to an independent living community, I think it is a great time! The staff, activities, food, and other residents enable me to live my best life! I have nothing negative to say about the Gatesworth. It is an incredibly well run facility with great attention to the happiness and well being of the residents.

This is the only CCRC that I've visited to date that has no entrance fee; of course, the monthly rents are higher, but it was refreshing to see a different approach. The restaurant service and food were exquisite which I tremendously enjoyed while visiting. The Sr. Advisor, Lynne Sugarman, did an excellent job of listening to my wants and needs rather than giving me answers to frequently asked questions from community brochures. I've visited many different CCRCs around the country and lived in one for a short 3-month period of time, so I understand the concept of continuing care. I also had the unique privilege of meeting 'Chris' one the Gatesworth owners who provided me with more valuable information on this beautiful community. It's definitely worth visiting to compare to other continuing care communities!

The vibrance of community and active living is evident at The Gatesworth! I recently hosted a special exhibit as well as being a guest lecturer for the Questors speaker series and was wowed by how engaged and empowered the residents are. The staff were, without exception, all professional and helpful. Janine Lawler, Events and Entertainment Director, was a real joy to work with in preparing for and hosting my two programs. I can't speak highly enough of her - the entire team - the residents - and and the overall quality of lifestyle that is evident at the Gatesworth!

Even the Muzak is good!!! I'm here because my beloved Andrei is in Extended Care next door. I can be near him and we can spend time together doing things we enjoy. We're both better off than when we came. Grateful for the care and support we enjoy here, in a beautiful surrounding.

We are fortunate in St Louis to have many options in senior living facilities. Our family could not be more pleased with the experience our dad has had at The Gatesworth. Like he frequently says, it’s like living on a cruise ship! There’s a variety of activities, food is good, living spaces and grounds are lovely and well maintained and the management and staff are responsive and friendly!

When I first came to The GatesWorth, I thought to myself there is no way I can afford this type of luxury living. So we went home and discussed it, and discovered with no huge Buy-in we can afford to live here very comfortably. We started meeting folks and I’ll be the first to admit I’ve never been this social in my life. Everyone is friendly , and the staff is helpful and happy and it’s just a beautiful place to live.

The Gatesworth has done a wonderful job of making my mother feel welcome and presented many opportunities for her to get involved in the community even under the strict but warranted restrictions of COVID as she moved here from Florida during this stressful time. While challenging, it has been a success and much of that is due to the Gatesworth's staff and ownership. We are really looking forward to the continued gradual re-opening and active community life that originally drew us to this special place in St. Louis.

Parents at GW...and friends of parents there as well .They are first quality. Made the transition for my parents very easy. Staff is friendly. Activities a plenty. Food is terrific. They even have happy hours for residents AND families. My parents love it.

You need to steam clean your CARPETS! We have grandparents living here and have noticed upon entering, that it smells like a MUSTY SOCK! That's inexcusable and sad as it has gotten worse over time. Sincerely hope you clean the establishment especially for those of us who suffer from allergies.
