My 80 year old husband and I visited Harmony last weekend during an open house and had the pleasure of meeting Amanda Hill. It was obvious that it was a very busy, yet entertaining event for the residents that was going on at the time of our visit; live music, refreshments, old cars, and all kinds of goodies. It was easy to see that the residents were having a great time and there was more than enough support staff on hand to help the residents. Amanda graciously showed us around the facility and we were VERY impressed. The room sizes were generous, the facility was very clean, all of the support staff met you with a smile and we were very happy with everything that Amanda showed us. My husband and I got a very warm and cozy feeling at Harmony, and we were both extremely thankful for Amanda taking the time out of her busy day to show us around.

It is very difficult to find a memory care unit that is better than Harmony in any state that I have lived in. My wife has been there for over two years and is happy while I am completely satisfied that she is receiving the best care available. I am a retired doctor and have been impressed with the nursing staff and health services available as they inevitably become necessary. Alzheimer's or Dementia for other grammarians is a difficult health problem to manage. I Most Highly recommend Harmony at Martinsburg as they have eared my complete satisfaction.

I moved my mom into Harmony on September 14, 2020, and this is her 3rd week. We all are amazed by the entire experience since we arrived at this wonderful Community. From the very beginning, Amanda assisted me to obtain all the documents from moms physician which made the process easier for me and helped to speed up the move. Without her assistance and patience, I probably would not have been able to get mom moved in this soon. She is wonderful and although her part is completed, she continues to assist me when I have questions. Mason and Teresa are so polite when I call HARMONY with questions or concerns, and they always assist me with the proper point of contact. Bob helped move moms TV and phone into her room prior to Comcasts appointment for connection. Since we couldnt schedule an appointment with Comcast until the second week at HARMONY, Greg came to her rescue and hooked up her TV temporarily until COMCAST was able to arrive. This was so important since mom was quarantined for 14 days based on COVID protocol regulations. She started to receive physical and occupational therapy from Jessica and Emma during her first week. I was so surprised that this amenity happened so fast. Everyone accommodated us during the move and the staff exceeded my expectations. They reviewed her chart and I was informed that her current podiatrist visits the Community and they recommended that she be put on the list for October. I canceled moms appointment and now she will receive her treatment at her new residence. Another example of the excellent service mom received was on the day of her doctors appointment in Winchester. I was greeted at the front door by Tammy, the Dining Director, who handed me a breakfast tray since she knew mom didnt have time to eat. This was a surprise since I didnt arrange this, and I just couldnt believe this was happening. Visitation finally started on Monday, September 28, and my sister and I sat with mom on the front porch. It was such a calm and relaxing experience. Thanks, HARMONY staff for welcoming mom to the Community and we cant wait to see what happens next. We look forward to mom meeting new friends and getting stronger as she continues her therapy.

We put our mother (who has dementia) in Harmony Martinsburg for one months respite care earlier this year. Mom loved it! The front office, medical, and care-giving staff were all wonderful, helpful, patient, and polite. They cared for her very well and the daily activities really stimulated her so much that she came home a happier person. My mother is a retired chef and she loved the food—that is saying a lot! The design of the facility is thoughtful and beneficial to the residents. Hallways and social spaces are located and designed strategically for constant staff observation of the residents. This allowed mom to have her independence and we were relieved that she would be well cared for—and mom thought she was in a fancy, wonderful hotel with a great restaurant!

During this pandemic and lockdown, the communication with our family member who is a resident at Harmony was very important. The receptionists were always cordial and efficient. They would send a staff member down to help with phone or tv problems. They were tech support ! When the bird feeder outside the window needed refilled, the staff helped out. The staff is happy and energetic when they meet me at the door to take items I sent weekly to bring cheer to our loved one. When it is time for exercise class, a prompt was needed as a reminder. We so appreciate that!

My mom is at Harmony Care at Martinsburg and from the get go was impressed with the professionalism and care shown by everyone that works there. More impressive is that everyone seems to truly love their job and they treat my mom as a member of their family. They are wonderful with her, and so patient. So grateful for this facility!

This place is fabulous, and so is everyone here! Fron the time you walk in the door, the receptionist welcomes you and the place looks absolutely AH-MAZING! They are very friendly helpful in getting the person you need if that is the case, or just greet you when coming to sign in to see your loved one. The nursing staff, tech, housekeeping, and maintenance are all very helpful and respectful, when they arent busy doing their jobs. If they dont know something, they take the time to check or take your number down and get in touch with you as soon as they get time. The waitresses are very nice and attentive to all the residence, both matter how demanding and grouchy they can be (that meaning my dad, because he is a handful for EVERYONE!) The cooks...well, I have to say this, I have never tasted food in a facility for elderly people until now, but I have eaten with my dad several times as well as my daughter and I am a VERY picky eater...the food is GREAT! I already told my daughter, this is where I want to come when I need assisted living, because it is fabulous!

I work here part time. The place is very clean and offers upscale apartments. Its pricey to live here but any assisted living or nursing home is going to cost a lot. It is however private pay. All residents seem happy and I enjoy working the 2 days a week that I work.

My family needed a safe place for my dad to live and this was a great experience for us. We contacted Nikki at the Crossings and she did an amazing job of treating my dad like family. I would recommend to anyone this new and clean assisted living community
