Mountain Terrace feels like home. My grandma lives here, and the facility is adorable with a warm atmosphere. My grandma loves all of the activities and is having so much fun trying new things... if she feels like it! She has wonderful relationships with the staff, and I feel confident her needs are being met. I love visiting her all the time and am always so impressed with how nice and helpful the staff is. Im so happy that we found this place!

I searched for a memory care facility in the Wausau area for my father and was fortunate to find Mountain Terrace. Sheridan, Theresa and the rest of their team were very easy to work with and made the transition as easy as possible. I like this facility for its home-like setting. The care givers are very responsive to the needs of the residents and are most patient and experienced. I live in Michigan and cannot visit as frequently as I would like, but it is a great comfort knowing my father is safe and receiving quality care. I would recommend Mountain Terrace without hesitation.

I learned more about Assisted Living from the manager than I did from the last 5 places I went to. Very knowledgeable and was not pushy at all. He actually seemed to just want us to make a good informed decision whether it was there or not. The marketer lady was just as nice and informative. I met one of the care staff on my way in and they were super nice too. It sure makes a difference when you actually love your job. it really shows with your attitude toward customers. I hate being sold to, and it didnt feel that way at all. just genuine. It was refreshing.

I have worked here for going on 5 years. I absolutely love being here. Our staff and residents alike truly are our family--in good times and bad. Was working on having my grandma move in, however, she passed away too soon. It is an honor to take care of our residents.

This is actually called Mountain Terrace as of several years ago. New management has made this place THE place to be. So warm, inviting, smells wonderful, and the friendliest staff around. It is apparent when staff actualy love what they do and take pride in where they work.

So happy I did my research and chose this community. The owner-director is so kind and accomodating. Every day we visit my mother, she tells me how great the staff is, how great the food is, and on and on. Literally EVERY time. I am just so grateful for such a great home.

Mountain Terrace is the Best of the Best when it comes to Senior Care. The staff is loving and attentive.She was hesitant to move into an assisted living facility, but after interacting with the staff and fellow residents, she truly loves it. The food is excellent and the activities planned keep residents active and involved.Thank you for being there when we cant!!

I feel privileged to know the staff and residents here! There is a sense of pride and respect that the caregivers have for their job that creates a positive home environment for all who call Mountain Terrace their home. Being a caregiver, housekeeper, cook, or management is more than just a job to all who are employed here, it is a way to help enrich the lives of the amazing residents that we are so lucky to know. I would recommend Mountain Terrace to anyone considering a helpful home environment for themselves or their loved ones. I hope to visit there again soon!

Mountain Terrace Senior Living is a wonderful senior living facility in Wausau. I have been working at Mountain Terrace Senior Living a little over a year and it's a great place to work. Besides having awesome residents that give us the pleasure of serving them, the staff works together to go above and beyond for the residents and other staff members.
