I love it here at Summit Woods. I visited here 20 some years ago and knew that I would be living here one day. I`ve been here 4 years now. I have so many new friends and activities every day. I couldn`t be happier. I choose what I want to do each day. I can be as busy or as quiet as I need. Thank you to the great staff here.

Great place to live. It like living in a small community. The staff here is just a great source of help.The apartments are nice and cozy. Lots to do here. Games, bingo, cards. Birthday party's. I do love it here!

Summit Woods is a great place to live. The people in the office are very helpful and nice. Our activity director comes up with great activities for the residents. There are very friendly residents also. I’m very happy that I live here.

When I retired (in 2004) I couldn't find my dream retirement community so moved to an ordinary apartment complex. Then I discovered Summit Woods and moved here in 2005. It is still "home". We are like a family. Compared to other comunities I have happened to visit I feel the amenities here are the best value for the price we pay.

I am grateful to live at Summit Woods! I am not a "spring chicken" - 83 years old...so, anything that has to do with the Internet is HARD! When I was still working - almost 20 years ago - the Internet was a part of my job, but fairly new. Even tho I have not worked for a long time, the Internet has advanced and whether we (senior citizens) like it or not the world continues to drag us in. Doctor appointments, digital grocery shopping, order anything on line!! Hard to live without the Internet! Easy to be scammed!! Summit Woods (Capri Communities) has began a program that will help us with all these things. We have what are called Tech Genies. They will come and help us with solving all our technical problems from setting up computers or phones to just troubleshooting simple problems. They even help with landlines and TV problems! Very often it is a simple problem for them, but causing a lot of concern for us! Not only can we TRUST them with our information, but it is free! THANK YOU Capri Communities and Summit Woods!! Just another time I am thankful that I live here! January 20, 2026 Just an additional note - my husband passed away in the hospital the end of 2025. The complete staff have been so thoughtful and caring - from the front office to the maintenance and cleaning staff. My husband loved it here too. Now living alone, I feel completely safe and I know whenever I need help, it will be here for me. I would give this place many more stars if I could! Garnet Wolff

I think summit woods is out standing every one is nice and polite. Especially the E.D. she's very warm and caring very easy to talk to.summit woods is a very well run facility it should be a model of how things are done. And it starts with fantastic staff . there 2nd to none.

All of the staff were exceptional. They treated my MIL extremely well. I was very impressed with this senior community.

The residents who live there are great! Warm and welcoming. The kitchen and cleaning staff are the main reason for the 2 star review. The Supervisor will bring her young kids to work if she can’t find day care. The children spend time in the kitchen where food is made. She does not seem to be able to work alone as she always has 2 to 3 staff on when she is working while others can work alone. Staff seldom clean the entire dining room. The floor is usually dirty with crumbs and spilled drinks. The dining room floor is seldom washed. There are bugs and cobwebs by the windows, fireplace and exits. The kitchen staff don’t wear hair nets and sometimes don’t wear gloves in the kitchen. One staff member is on her phone 90% of the time and is rude to residents. Management is aware of this and other issues with staff but choose to look the other way.

My aunt lives here. The staff in general is good but some aren't great. It can take weeks to get the handyman to fix things. And there is a downspout that is disconnected from the building, the office was informed of this over 9 months ago and it still is disconnected.

My father has lived Summit Woods for almost 3 years. Everyone is wonderful! From management, care staff, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance and activities, they are all there for the right reasons and truly care about the residents. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Could be better like the. Food looks terrible and I hear Alot of complaints about it. The maintenance is slow and well behind. But caretakers are excellent very family like Becky who runs it does a awesome job

My grandpa moved into Summit Woods in November and our family is so thankful for everything the team there has done to keep us updated and informed during COVID and for everything they do to keep him safe.
