Comfort Keepers of Waukesha has cared for my Mother like family. They keep her independent in her home and provide services for her around the clock. I live out of state but feel safe knowing someone is there taking good care of her. I would recommend their services.

Comfort Keepers has provided a much needed service for me. I have MS and am unable to do several of the things at home I used to take for granted. Also, I don’t remember several things I used to. In addition, I am unable to put thoughts together or see cause and effect of thoughts and actions. What Comfort Keepers has given me is someone to help me navigate through all of this. I get help that includes bathing, cooking, light housekeeping, picking up prescriptions, running errands, and picking in the mail. What is most important is my caregiver, Karen. She is so compassionate and respectful I never feel incapacitated around her. Her gentleness is always evident. She has made a huge impact in my life and I look forward to each of her visits. The office staff is always helpful, friendly and accommodating. Samantha in the Waukesha location is an example. Comfort Keepers definitely gets my vote for home healthcare aid.

Head and shoulders above the 5 other companies we tried for my Mom. Tammy was our go to contact and she was pleasant, understanding and followed through on every request. The majority of the caregivers were pretty good and a few were exceptional. Charlotte was outstanding and went above and beyond the call of duty frequently and was always pleasant. A handful of caregivers spent a little too much time texting and looking bored sitting next to Mom watching T.V. when there were definitely things they could have been doing or they could have sat out of her sight if they were going to look annoyed and bored. We had a unique situation as we live in the same household but separate living spaces. We had cameras (everyone was informed) so we could occasionally check in on things and once in a while would run downstairs to say hello and check in. That said, we were pretty aware of what everyone did and not one company out there even came close to being as professional and caring as Comfort Keepers. I would never try another company again. Our other experiences were awful, Senior Helpers was absolutely horrible! We had so many problems with them including but not limited to leaving Mom to fend for herself for entire shifts, cheating on hours by clocking in before getting here and clocking out after leaving, leaving Mom in wet diaper and clothing for what would have been 24 hours had we not intervened. Other agencies just had too much turnover and couldn’t fill shifts leaving us with last minute gaps in care (Senior Helpers did this plenty too). Comfort Keepers though was FAR SUPERIOR in every way to every company we tried. They were conscientious and everyone who came at least did the minimum we requested, some did more and all were kind to my Mom, that was not true with other agencies. I did not give 5 stars because there were hiccups here and there (a few open shifts, scheduling confusion, last minute issues, etc.) but would assign 4.5 if half stars were available, knowing that 5 would be perfect, that would be a rating I could only give if they were actually perfect. They were great though and I would call Comfort Keepers for help without hesitation.
