Reviews Cedarhurst Senior Living of Verona
May 2022
I have been a resident of this facility for two years. I am moving next week as the situation has become intolerable. Unreasonable employee turnover, shortage of staff, and uncaring management necessitated my relocation. I am concerned about the residents who do not have the ability to move on.

I just recently became a member of the team at Cedarhurst. Granted we are shortstaffed, but this is changing. Cedarhurst is under new owners. I have seen the interaction of many of the caregivers and residents and I have seen nothing but care and compassion from staff for these wonderful residents. I think people researching senior living / memory care facilities should take a tour, talk to people there and make their own minds up.

My Mother recently celebrated one year at Willow Pointe Memory Care. During this past year the staff at Willow Pointe have had to deal with the challenges of navigating all of the Covid-19 pandemic issues. They have done it with such grace and love. They have had to be the sole care givers for their residents for the past year! As front line workers, we need to give them so many kudos! My Mom has dementia, she is hard of hearing and has very low vision. Not being able to visit has been challenging. The staff is good about giving me updates and stories about my Mom. During the warmer months we were able to do outdoor visits, but when the weather got colder the staff set up a nice area for us to visit with our loved ones. Staff has been good about understanding my Mom and knowing what she needs! Not an easy job! Melissa , the Executive Director has always made sure Mom was well cared for and is always there to answer my questions or address any concerns. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

My father is in the memory care. My family is very happy with the care there. Morgan the person who runs that section is great. She really cares, which is nice.
July 2019
I just love it here! They are an excellent place. The people here, the food here, the activities, and everything makes you feel welcome and like you are at home. We spoke about having more activities outside the building and that was addressed immediately. Would love to see more of those, as I love being outside! Great atmosphere.

Ive been here 6 years, enjoy living here, each apartment is really nice and I feel really accommodated for. In 2012 when I moved here I was really independent and as the years progressed my disease progressed and staff and management has been really great about all the accommodations I have needed.
June 2019
The staff is very efficient. They are very responding to requests and with the help of the outstanding management team they are able to deliver to our needs. The activities are always based on resident interests. Very nice facility.
April 2019
The staff is very helpful when I need them. Every morning I take a walk up to the gas station and if staff is there before coming into work they will always greet me with a smile. If I ever have any questions they are always answered promptly. Very hard working team

I enjoy the food, the activities, the comradeship, and the friendship I have created with other residents. I also appreciate the care staff and management who are always available to help when needed.
January 2019
My family member lives there. Great care and staff. Always friendly and well run. Good food. They are always asking the people what they need. Offer us coffee when we visit like family. Thanks for working hard.
January 2019
Willow point has been a great find for us. The staff is always helpful. The executive director is there on days, 2 nd shift weekends checking on things. Missy the nurse gives the families her cell number and is always available. How nice is that for us families. Josh is very kind and takes out the time to listen to the people who live there. They deliver what they told us we will get. Activities are good and the director is so kind. They have a memory care place so if we need that they can just transfer over. We are hoping we do not need that, but it is nice to have that.

I was visiting a relative.. i had the pleasure of meeting the director nikki molaro.. she took time out of her busy day to help answer questions that i had..along w showing me around and letting me see the area..i am now more conferable having my family stay here.. thank u for ur hard work nikki molaro..

The director recently taught me resilience isnt a single skill. He said it was about the process of developing a variety of skills and coping mechanisms. As we have our philosophical chats around the inevitable obstacles and inequities of life he taught me to emphasize the positive and bounce back from bumps in the road as well as failures -- to gain a strong sense of self efficacy. Thanks, Matt! On behalf of all of us, your work at Willow Point is astounding. I also notice new faces facilitating the activities and cant help but to say that some of the most highly qualified, sweet and compassionate people are the new faces of management. I love watching dad and other assisted living members interact with the newest member of your management team, her personality is contagious and her drive to succeed is thrilling. Over the past few days we have been In the building very frequently, If I could give more stars I would. The staff is great! Everyone is willing to help each other out
November 2018
My mother, Helen, had been at Willow Pointe in Verona for about two and one half years. Due to her health circumstances, she recently had to move out. We would like to identify a few individuals who have been most helpful for her while she was there. We do appreciate the efforts of the entire staff but in particular, Nicki Molaro-Pulver, Tulio Gonzalez, Missy Stouffer, Payal Sharma, Jessica Forseth and Sue Dull. These individuals are to be commended for their care and compassion.
April 2018
My Mom has been a resident at Willow Pointe for 2 plus years. She is diabetic and requires her blood sugars to be checked 4x a day. Staff are very good at monitoring her blood sugars and calling the doctor if needed (for low or high blood sugars). The lead nurses, Sue or Missy have taken the lead to report changes in my Moms blood sugars or overall health to the doctor to request a change in insulin dosage or other medications. Staff have also brought my Mom food or drinks when she was not feeling well and not able to go down to the dining room. I think the staff really care about the residents. My Mom definitely enjoys the staff and feels comfortable and safe at Willow Pointe.
