Your loved ones are unsafe here - training is almost nonexistent and they don't check credentials, not only that but they don't care if you have NO experience working with vulnerable adults. (I know, I worked here for a SHORT period). [name removed] comes off as a nice enough person but the longer you are there the more you realize he doesn't care about staff or residents. On the RARE occasions he ACTUALLY covers a shift, he has been seen doing NOTHING. Not checking on residents, not assisting in toileting, etc... This is from another staff members accounts of working with / near him. The kitchen is so disgusting I don't know how they havne't been shut down because of that ALONE. Not to mention the cook on a revolving door (I wonder why LOL y'all cant pay your staff - a whole other issue.) so the food is always questionable and never consistent. Activities? LOL If you want you loved one to keep moving, you might as well pick them up every day and do it yourself because their idea of activities is laughable. Do not send your loved one here - this is just the tip of the iceberg and what I thought of off the top of my head in 2min

I am the sister of a Resident who was fortunate to enjoy the comforts of Cecelia Place, for too short of a time, before his passing. On behalf of Greg's family, we all found the entire staff to be available to Greg, every minute of the day, to take care of his personal hygiene, his medication management, dietary requirements, & therapy. The Director went out of his way to see that Greg had everything necessary to make his stay in Assisted Living comfortable in his beautiful "Suite." The Nursing staff was always available, whenever he needed them, and also saw to it that whatever pain he was experiencing was controlled with the proper medications. The facility offered activities that kept Greg entertained & motivated. He enjoyed it all, thanks to Nikki, the Activities Director, who made daily living pleasurable for Greg! A past review of "meals frozen" was not what Greg experienced. Each meal was prepared by a Chef with great concern for his dietary needs, as well as being delicious! In Greg's own words, "I haven't eaten like this in years!" So, thank you, Jack! I can only say that every one of the employees, whether part of the superb cleaning crew to the Director of the Facility, were always friendly, helpful, & compassionate, to all of Greg's needs. Communication was never an issue! Cecelia Place deserves nothing but praise, & we would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who is looking for the comforts of home, with a Staff that we considered our Family!

Mom has been at Cecelia Place for 6 months and we are very happy. Knowing she is well cared for, safe and happy is comforting. Its the people that make the difference. We love the genuine, close knit, family atmosphere in which everyone offers a smile and wants to help. Mom proudly calls Cecelia Place home. In addition to the caring staff, her apartment is beautiful, the meals are good, and the activities are wonderful.
