I'm 72 years old and have cerebral palsy. I was born in Oshkosh but moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan at a young age. However, I still spend summers at our home on the shores of Lake Winnebago. Home Care Assistance has been helping me for three years. They are excellent! Their office staff is friendly, helpful, and experts at their jobs. They have worked very hard to get to know me and meet my needs. They also w to solve problems that arise as when it was discovered that I had bed bugs. Their caregivers are also friendly and very good at their jobs. I highly recommend Home Care Assistance!

It's not often that I provide reviews. Generally speaking the service provider is all good or atrocious. I wanted to write and give Home Care Assistance the highest rating as they provided in home care to my Aunt prior to her passing. My experience with HCA over the course of 6 months was perhaps the best experience I've had with a service provider EVER! I am a company owner and I know how hard it is to deliver a superior outcome particularly across the board. To a person, every caregiver and administrator in the company made certain my Aunt's last days were the best they could be. This is also in consideration of multiple health issues on her side and dementia in which my Aunt could be pretty angry. The wonderful caregiver team at HCA kept a positive attitude through it all. In addition the Sr. Manager Susan Van DeSande not only alerted me 2,000 miles away DAILY or her progress or lack of it, but anticipated issues. She helped me understand when and what hospice would provide to make the going easier. I've been using home care for 10 years. Of the four agencies I've used, Home Care Assistance is far and away the best. Caregivers are hit-and-miss at all agencies but, with one exception, all of my caregivers from Home Care Assistance have been great and my current primary caregiver is the best caregiver that I've ever had. I've occasionally encountered problems with the office of the other agencies that I've used but have never had any problems with the Home Care Assistance office. And when I need unexpected, short notice assistance, they always have me covered.

This company quickly (with less than 2 days notice) and efficiently got home hospice care set up for my father-in-law's final days. Alyse was kind, caring, and awesome to work with and the caregivers in the home were excellent! I was amazed that it was all put together so quickly - especially during the holiday season. I am thankful to them for providing this service which allowed my in-laws to be together in their home until his passing. This was very important to them and we appreciate all they did.

They are a Godsend!! My dad has severe mixed dementia and was having some behavioral issues. The caregivers they provide are perfectly matched to meet his needs. With their help, my dad is now content and happy with far fewer anxious moments. They help with his care and encourage him to participate in both group and individual activities. One caregiver brings his guitar and they sing together. Another always has a special treat she made herself. I am disabled and cannot visit my dad as frequently as I would like. Having the Home Care Assistance caregivers gives me peace of mind knowing he is being cared for with respect and kindness just like I would. These caregivers mean the world to me and my family.

Their entire team cares, is attentive, responsive, proactive, flexible, ready to help, and thoroughly engaged in the well being of our father, who is 86 and over the last few years has received anywhere from around the clock assistance during a couple illnesses to more predictable three times a week visits that include socializing, meals, meds accuracy, housekeeping, and wellness checks. HCA has enabled him to be at home, where he wants to be, and us to be comfortable that he's well taken care of and safe. Priceless piece of mind and quality of life that we cannot recommend highly enough! It's actually hard to find the words for how grateful we are but we'll certainly keep trying.

I can say that the home care assistants and the office staff were so very caring to my Mom at all times. They cared for her at 2 different times every day, 7 days/week. They were always very attentive and updated me on my Mom's progress whenever I called. They worked with her daily to continue the exercises that PT had given her to perform at home. Everyone was genuinely friendly, thoughtful, kind and professional. I would definitely recommend them to care for your loved one. I never worried about her safety when they were present in her home. If my Mom is ever able to return to her own home again, I would definitely use their services.

Our family has been using the services offered by HCA for about a year, and we are very pleased with the quality of the caregivers, the awesome scheduling staff, and our case manager is a rock star. This whole team has worked very hard under the toughest circumstances of a pandemic to provide continuous and safe care for Mom. We were in need of day care and overnight care. HCA was immediately responsive, sent a care manager to Mom's home to do an assessment and carefully review our needs. In short order we had video interviews with the potential caregivers, and Mom could begin the process of accepting caregivers into her home. HCA had carefully vetted potential caregivers to meet the needs of Mom and the household. Their staffing standards are very high, and we immediately felt comfortable bringing in more caregivers as necessary. The scheduling team is incredible, they work around the family and any specific situations that may arise. The HCA team will help you craft a dedicated care plan, and help lighten the burden of keeping a family member at home. We continue to use HCA because from the top down, they have proven that while nothing is perfect when providing day to day care, HCA has been a solid partner. We have been very happy with the quality of care given to our Mom and her husband. More importantly, is they like their caregivers and look forward to the visit with them 3x a week. HCA is able to make a schedule that works for the whole family. We had used another nation wide service and found that it was un-reliable. HCA is always there as scheduled.
