Bella Vista has been such a positive place for our dad and for our entire family. The team there is amazing, kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. One of the best parts has been seeing Dad build friendships again. He loves playing cards with his friends and spending time with everyone there. We also really appreciate the holiday events they host for families. They create such a warm community atmosphere, and it gives us meaningful time together across generations. The park across the street is another huge bonus because the grandkids can play while we visit. Dad always says, They cook and clean for me, and I have friends to spend time with. Hearing him say he loves living there gives our family so much comfort and peace of mind. We’re very grateful for the care and happiness Bella Vista has brought into this chapter of his life.

I haven’t been here quite a year yet, but my time here has been very positive! One of my favorite things is the fact that Menominee park and zoo is right across the street! I go there when the weather is nice every day just to sit by the water and read my book and just stare at the water or watch the geese, which were many! It was so much fun! The zoo is small, but they have so many animals there and it’s fun to see them all! Bella Vista you can always find something to do whether it’s playing bingo or card games or exercise class etc. There’s always a reason to stay active and busy. They have a bus and they take you shopping and to different places of interest to see, which is always fun to do! What I enjoy is the fact you have 2 choices for meals!! They have a very hard-working caregiver staff, as they truly care about us residents!! I am glad without a doubt that I decided to come to Bella Vista because where I was before was so much worse!! Bella Vista has their challenges they need to work on, but then doesn’t every place? But I can honestly say I consider Bella Vista Home!!

I have a long history with Bella Vista in Oshkosh. My Mom lived there in both the RCAC apartments and in the CBRF floor. She passed away 8 years ago, but her time at Bella and the care she received was very good. So good, that in my families time of need recently for my sister, I turned to them again. She was living independently but could not manage her T1 diabetes and live on her own any longer, she needed more care. Working with Community Care (LTC) and Bella Vista (Rebecca Groleau, Lori DeWitz, and Wendy Eggers) we were able to move her into a beautiful RCAC apartment quickly. The entire staff made us feel at home and comfortable immediately. Sadly, my sister had a heart attack the first week there. The CNA and night crew aids got her the emergency services she needed quickly. While she was in the hospital, the even made sure that her cat was being cared for! All my sister wanted to do was to return to her "home". She loved it and the people even being there for just a short time. A few weeks later she had another incident with more serious consequences. After 10 days in hospital, she just wanted to go back to Bella. Wendy was instrumental in getting her set up for hospice b4 the hospital would release her, she worked with us to ensure my sisters meds were correct, she went above and beyond to ensure my sisters comfort. Sadly, she passed away a short time later. And here again, Rebecca, Wendy, the entire staff at Bella pitched in to help our family cope. In her short stay there, they all quickly became family. I hope when I need a place to go, they are all still there .. because that's where I'm going!

I don't understand why you continue to run out of food for your assisted living residents? This has been going on now for several months without any resolution.You even increased the cost of rent. If you are not able to feed the residents in assisted living a proper meal, you should not be including that in the cost of rent. I don't understand how this is considered to be acceptable care.

What a treasure I have discovered for my own future! I have toured Bella Vista twice and am so impressed with the nice apartments, wonderful staff, and the variety of social events they offer residents. I NEVER thought I would be looking forward to going into a facility as my permanent home, but BV more than checks all the boxes that are important to me. Yes, I am actually eager to move in. For ME, having my own apartment where I can keep to myself when I want to, yet easily find companionship at any time is perfect for me at this stage of life. I am 70 and I have had a multitude of health issues for 35 years. Now my most difficult activity is grocery shopping. It's difficult to walk as far as it takes to get around a store. Worse yet is getting the many bags home and putting all of the food away. I never know when I will have the stamina to actually cook or assemble a meal. No strength for that any more. At BV I need only ever go shopping for snacks. I can get all my meals by just going to the 1st floor dining room. That appeals to me immensely. If you or a loved one is contemplating re-locating to a place that includes helping hands, Bella Vista should be at the top of your list. I enourage you to go visit them as soon as possible. So thankful we found this place for my mother. She is a social person and this is an ideal location for her. It is very clean, the staff is great, and she enjoys the food. She has a great view out her window of the lake. She has made herself at home and joins in all the activities that they provide.

Fantastic place! Kind, helpful staff. Modern, clean and affordable for us. Great view out Mom's 4th floor window; huge park in the summer/early fall and Lake Winnebago late fall after the leaves drop into spring. Surprisingly good food for an "institution". So happy to have found this!

Visited my grandma and just walking around the place looked and felt dirty everywhere I went and they still charge for cleaning even though it looks like theres none. I am very disappointed.

Since my wife's mother moved to Bella Vista more than 3 years ago, I see a contentment in her that she had in her own home. Watching the wonderful staff interact and genuinely care for their residents is so important and gratifying for my wife's family and us to see. The plentiful activities are incomparably great. All the caregivers are friendly, professional and solely there to keep their residents feeling safe, happy and comfortable. The cooks, wait staff, cleaning and maintenance crew show nothing less than outstanding work and kindness. Bella Vista is truly a great residential family. We are very pleased to have mom call it "home".

Beautiful senior apartments. They will allow visitors to stay overnight on a temporary basis with the resident. Meals and activities provided. Located across from a park with views of the lake. Prices start around 3K.
