Absolutely a terrible place. The food is disgusting. The help is understaffed and unqualified for some of the positions. The entire town is talking about how bad it is. Even the medical professionals are starting to question. It's to bad because the facility has nice rooms, But nice rooms is not worth jeopardizing your loved ones health.

Horrible place. The director is extremely unprofessional. She talks about her staff to residents families. She lies and blames the staff for everything. My parents bathroom had feces on the toilet and the floor all the time. Also on the bed. Medications were not given as directed. We were told they were equipped to handle my parents who have dementia and need a lot of cares. They are not equipped. If they had been honest from the beginning we would never have moved them there. My father has passed away and my mom is living somewhere else where she is getting much better care.

I have lived at the Neillsville retirement home since May 2023 I have been been a nursing assistant myself for 34 years I feel very comfortable and cared for the employees are very kind and considerate they come as soon as we call, but we do understand if they are helping another person we will need to wait our turn. There is no assist living that has a one on one staff we do need to take care some of our own needs. I would recommend Neillsville retirement facility to other folks. I am very satisfied. Hi, Everyone! I started at the Neillsville Retirement Community not too long ago as A.M. Cook and I am loving every minute of being here! The staff is really welcoming and helpful and friendly. The residents always have a smile ready and are well cared for. I am so glad I found this job!

Horrible place to send anyone you care about!

My aunt lived there and absolutely loved it. Its a nice quiet area and the place truly felt like home to her. She had a live there as well that she hadnt seen for many years that she was able to reconnect with which was great for her socially. We joined her for dinner and lunch a couple times and the food was pretty good. Caregivers were all friendly as well. While she wasnt there long as her health continued to decline, she was happy there and as family, we were able with the care she received while there.
