I feel very fortunate that my parents have established a home at Attic Angel. Their transition , which involved a long distance move from out of state, was made much easier by the way in which the staff, volunteers and residents went above and beyond to welcome them and integrate them into the community. The staff are very responsive, thoughtful and friendly. Claire Larkin, Senior Living Consultant, was a key person for me as we put all the pieces in place for the move in and has continued to be a tremendous resource. The front desk is unfailingly helpful no matter how busy they are. The volunteer program at Attic Angel is exceptional, with the "Angels" being engaged and invested in their roles. The residence is beautifully designed indoors and in the gardens, with many comfortable spaces. The art room, in particular, is a wonderful, light filled room that offers a full schedule of creative, meaningful opportunities. It is a place that my parents have really enjoyed, both for the artistic experiences and as another place to get to know their neighbors. As a family member, it has been wonderful to see my parents flourish at Attic Angel and to feel reassured that they are living in a community where they are valued and respected and where they have excellent services available to them.

Inviting atmosphere and great staff. They truly make a difference in the lives of residents here!

I was fired as a NURSE by a non-nurse manager who is administering narcotics and over-seen by a new clueless CEO! The state was recently contacted, I will contact them again!

Shame on the board who puts money before residents, Shame on the board who lets a non-nurse wanna be run the health center after letting the CNO leave. Shame on poor management and a new CEO who is clinically clueless> This facility is about money, not saferesident care!

BORING is the word most often used by residents, at all levels of care, to describe Attic Angel. FAMILY UNFRIENDLY are the words most often used by family members of residents, at all levels of care, to describe Attic Angel. OVERPRICED for services available in Attic Angel CBRF; you would be better placing loved-one in a real nursing home with higher levels of care for the money. DEBILITATING & DEADLY is how to describe the CBRF; where "patient rights" are used as cover for failure to serve residents and failure to meet their needs. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. No longer living up to its reputation.

Attic Angel has been great to work with, especially Sarah and Larry. We at Picture Perfect Painting paint for them when needed and couldnt ask for a better working relationship.

What a wonderful place to live in your senior years! Each resident is treated with the utmost respect and care, and there is a true effort made to make everyone feel very much at home. With a craft room, library, cafe, and areas in which to either exercise or relax and read, there is something for everyone. There are also a variety of programs and activities available to keep folks engaged, involved, and educated. Proximity to stores and services is great, and transportation is made available when needed. The apartments and rooms are spacious and bright with the ability for each resident to create their own comfortable space. Oh . . . and did I mention the lovely gardens?? The staff and volunteers work together to make sure all of the residents have great quality of life. This is where I would hope to be able to live if I were looking for a senior community with various levels of living.

Attic Angel offers an environment with great co-workers, positive attitudes, and provides opportunities for professional development. The staff is caring and welcoming to fellow staff, as well as to the residents being cared for. I would recommend for a place of employment as well as a place to live!

I am a volunteer at Attic Angel and enjoy working with the residents in many capacities. Its always a happy place to visit with so many ways to stay active. I am also very proud of the donations made to our community through lots of hard work by the Angels.

I volunteer at Attic Angel Community and have really enjoyed my experiences there. The staff is wonderful and the residents a joy. There is always something going on! With a location so close to Madison, there are many residents who have moved from afar to be near their children who are working at the University. It has been great to see how they are welcomed and become part of the community which adds richness for all.

My mother, who lived in the Northeast, resided in a senior community for the last 18 years of her 98-year life. She progressed from totally independent living to memory care so I became very familiar with each of these areas. After moving to Middleton four years ago, I became involved with Attic Angel Place through volunteer work, and I have to say there is absolutely no comparison between this place and so many others including my moms! The environment is positive, supportive, caring, and comfortable for both staff and residents, and the general atmosphere just makes one feel blessed to have such a great place in our community! There is such a wonderful respect for the residents, and everyone puts forth effort to make certain their lives are as happy and productive as is possible. Friendliness abounds, and it is truly a place of hope and possibility.

This is a loving environment that supports growth for the staff, residents and volunteers. I learn so much from our residents; laugh so much with the volunteers; and deeply respect the compassion and knowledge of my co-workers!

Residents come first; it is so rewarding to see them smile! I can honestly say in the past 14 years, there has never been a day I didn't want to go to work. Wonderful residents, volunteers, and staff!

I've worked here for 10 years and love it! Best care for residents and most caring employer for staff that I have experienced!

My mom lived in the memory care unit called the Haven for almost 5 years. You will never find a more caring staff. Jennifer Mclaughlin the director has an amazing ability to hire staff who love working with older people. The activity director, Kayla is so creative, ie. showing you tube videos of funny cats and dogs, or trailers for old movies that they love. Or taking them to the hangar dance so they can re-experience 1940's big band music- relive their youth. The nurse Anna Howick, is outstanding. She is vigilant and attentive and very knowelegable. And I can't name every CNA, I mostly met the weekend staff, but Helen, and Erin, and Tim, and Eric, Carmen, Carrie, and so many more truly loved my mother. And then there are the volunteer angels- My mom truly loved her life there! And I loved visiting and being there. I can't speak to other places but this memory care is truly a warm loving home for your loved one, and the staff works to support you in this confusing journey as well. I felt that the staff truly cared about me as well. When I asked the admission director 5 years ago why I should consider this facility over others in town, she stated because we have angels. And this was more true than she knew.

I wish I could laugh as much as I can. Laughing has become a rare coin these days. In the past there were a lot of laughs, but now those tales are beginning to fade away, but fortunately I still have a number of friends who have a sense of humor And fun, and I am still connected to some stories that bring pleasure to my heart

Much gratitude for hosting the "Remembering Our Loved Ones Lost to Suicide" event. This lovely facility was perfect for such a healing event! The loving care of the facility was quite evident and made such a warm welcome to all attending the event! Special thanks to Colleen Knudson who sponsored our event! She is a beautiful reflection of your facility with her organization and kindness! I was especially touched by her empathy and care expressed with a resident that attended! She made everyone feel welcome and cared for! Thank you for welcoming community events like this into your beautiful facility!
