Our mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, which was rapidly progressing. Our family realized that mom needed more care than we were able to provide where she was living. We worked with management at Prairie Home, and they quickly assisted us with her admission. The staff adjusted frequently to meet her rapidly changing needs. We had prompt communication in the adjustments that were needed in her care. She received quality care, with respect and kindness. They showed compassion to our family. The time, efforts, and loving care that mom received at Prairie Home in her final days will not be forgotten. Mom is now at peace, and so are we.

Our dad spent two wonderful years at Faith House in Prairie Home Assisted Living, and we couldn't have asked for a more fitting place for him. The facility is aptly named—his room was conveniently located off the dining area, providing a cozy, home-like atmosphere where he could look into the kitchen and enjoy the peaceful view of tall prairie grass from his bedroom window. He truly felt at home. The care he received was exceptional. The staff treated him with such kindness and love, as if he were their own grandpa. We often heard stories of laughter, singing, and genuine joy in their interactions, which he continued to chuckle about during our visits. The warm and caring atmosphere at Prairie Home is clearly a reflection of the remarkable leadership of Tanya, whose deep concern for each resident extends throughout the entire team. We are incredibly grateful for the love, compassion, and care they provided to our dad. Even in his final days, they were there with support and understanding, making a difficult time more bearable for all of us. Prairie Home was more than just a place for our dad—it became a treasured experience and a beautiful memory for our family. We are thankful beyond words for all they did.

Our dear Jan had the best care we could have asked for. The staff became family and friends for him and us. The community is kept active, engaged, and very happy. Our favorite time of year is Halloween when we bring our daughter trick or treating.

My husband's brother lived here for about 3 years and the staff in faith house did an amazing job making him feel at home. Not only did the staff take care of him very well, but also was compassionate towards our family especially in our time of needs.I would highly recommend sending your loved ones here.

Prairie Home Assisted Living House of Faith was where our dearly departed friend Jan resided for 5 years. We are so thankful that Jan was able to spend his last years with such loving and caring staff.

My mother was there for the last two years of her life. She died from dementia. All my siblings stayed involved with her care, yet my wife and I were the primary contacts because of proximity. The Prairie Home Assisted Living environment is as close to home as you can get. The care and concern of the staff was above and beyond what we expected. We really appreciated how the staff worked with us and let us know what to expect in the next stages of the disease and a suggested way to deal with it. We were so impressed that I am now using Prairie Home Assisted Living for respite care to give my wife some relief from the daily grind of caring for me now that I am a paraplegic. (This service is only open when they have available space. We keep hoping they have open space whenever my wife needs a respite break.) If I ever need to be placed into an assisted living facility, Prairie Home Assisted Living would be at the top of my list of go to places.

Prairie home was the best experience that I worked for, I miss it very much. I have worked there for about 6 years and they believed in proper training for their staff and building their staff up to be great caregivers and managers. Many have grown into fabulous managers who care so deeply about the family they take care of. Anyone who brings their family here knows that you will immediately become family to all of the staff and will be loved and taken care of with all of their heart. As a visiting nurse, going to Prairie Homes is always such a joy. Patients are always well taken care of and staff are on top of changes and their residents needs. I know my patients are being well cared for and their care plans are being followed and the excellent caretakers are able to recognize changes and report them to me and our team! W

When we were searching for a place for our sister to spend her remaining days, we found a lot more roadblocks than we anticipated due to her limited amount of funds. Mike and his entire staff at Prairie Home found a way to make it work for our sister and our family. Her experience there was outstanding. She even loved the food, which says a lot because she is a very picky eater. I have been in a number of assisted living facilities and the staff there was by far the most caring and helpful staff ever. It made the transition seamless and comfortable. My sister didn't like to leave her room much, but the activities director and staff engaged her and she loved, loved, loved going out and participating. Their caring attitude made her final months fulfilling and happy. We are so thankful for their support and guidance.

Prairie Home is by far the most progressive assisted living home with providing caring and compassionate staff— the caregivers, nursing staff, and management team went above and beyond to reassure our family and to welcome my Mom when she could not safely stay at home anymore because of the progression of dementia.

Great Place for all of the houses including House Of Faith, for all that you do to keep people that were trying to recover from something, or if he or she is in a active dying process, you'll always want to thank the staff for all the hard work they've done for your loved one until their death. I've really enjoyed the staff and interacted with them and they will always be my friends.

I have been the Nurse Educator at Prairie Homes for quite some time now and enjoy being part of the team! I believe in the care our community provides to the extent that I too have family living here. The management team has all been here between 6-12 years and to me that speaks volume on the character of this family owned business.
