We as of Nov 2nd switched to this company from another company. It was the best decision I ever made not only for my husband but for my own peace of mind. From the minute Tanya explained what this company could offer, to the visit and continued communication with Kelly his RN Case Manager, to Betsy and Bertha getting us scheduled with staff that was the right fit for us, and the unbelievable 2 aides JonNelle and Phillis that was an immediate fit for us. Those 2 aides have been a game changer in our house for my husband. Both of those ladies know exactly how to interact with hubby and the way they have him involved while they are here is beyond what I can explain. If I could give those 2 ladies a 10 star review I would. For a man that is not a talker he constantly is smiling and interacting while they are here. Every staff member that we have come in contact with either via phone or in person has made me so relaxed in this process and comfortable knowing that in the future I will have continued support that I will need for him. The most important also is that he will have staff in here that make him feel safe, supported, and happy. As an RN myself, I could be the worst critic but I truly have absolutely nothing negative to say about this company/staff so far. Thank you to everyone at Senior Helpers for what you do for those of us that need your support and assistance.

I have truly lost count of all the trainings and tools that SH has offered being extremely beneficial and helpful for me and my clients. Their attention to detail is out of this world, their constant motivation, flexibility, options and solutions that always results in employees and clients having all their needs met. I am a single mother of 3 young children and the flexibility that SH offers me with my schedule has helped me to have a balance in my life like no other job has offered before. I also want to emphasize that many times unexpectedly Lisa or some of the case managers or human resources send you emails congratulating you for your good work and even reward you with a bonus that makes you feel valued as an employee and a person. It fills my heart to know that my work changes lives and makes me feel that I was born for this. My clients for me are my family and I will always give my best, going the extra mile to help them in a way that meets their expectations, from getting to know them, listening to them, helping them with all the cleaning tasks to knowing that when I finish my shift I leave them happier than when I started. That's why I recommend Senior Helpers to everyone who has a heart to serve. If I could give more than 5 stars I would do it without hesitation!!!! Most wonderful and rewarding job ever!!!

I can't Thank all of you enough for caring for my Parents especially this last year. I have worked for Senior Helpers for 13 years and this made it possible to lead their care with Heartland Hospice and Senior Helpers. My Father and Mother loved the companionship of the Caregivers. They were well taken care of everyday. Tanya and the Office Staff also helped to keep my Parents together. My Fathers death was exactly what he wanted and I could be with him and not worry about My Moms care during this difficult time as Liz, Cindi, Darci, Yemi were so supportive. My Mom is in a Memory Care facility now and Jane from Senior Helpers comes once a week to play cards which my Mom loves and looks forward to. Thank You so much for the care you gave my Parents especially my Father in his last days where I could just be a daughter and say goodbye!!

Both the office staff and caregivers truly love what they do and it shows. Being a Senior Helper caregiver myself I feel truly blessed to be invited into my clients homes and lives and be able to assist and help with tasks that have become challenging with age them. My favorite part is of the socializing and conversations we have when I get to learn about them as a person; where they came from and all their different life experiences. I have used Senior helpers since my moms vascular dementia became more advanced. She lives alone and without them would have needed placement. They come to help with meds and meals and provide companionship when I am at work. The caregivers have become like friends to her. They are well trained in how to support a person with dementia (This requires significant education). They have supported, and educated me as a family member as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone ! Especially if you have a loved one with alzhiemers or dementia. I believe they are the best in Madison for this by far.

Im going to give a very honest review...I use to work for Senior Helpers and I think its a great company to work for as well as receiving care from, this company cares about its employees and everyone is very friendly! I needed a little extra help with documentation and submitting forms to a company consisting of my hours and pay, and every time I had to update this form (which was very often) the office had no problem doing it efficiently with a smile! I was going to school while I worked for Senior Helpers and they were extremely flexible with my school schedule and they had plenty of different shifts to chose from! If you like in home health care, talking to elderly people, and assisting them with their daily tasks Id say this is the career for you. Or if youre looking for someone to come and help you with daily tasks around the house or provide you with respite Id say look no further! The reason why I rated Senior Helpers with 4 stars instead of 5 would be the hourly pay-milage confusion and the many emails-trainings that you get and have to go to. I really enjoyed my time at Senior Helpers and I wished I could have stayed but I wasnt getting paid enough, also every few months there was a training that you had to be apart of whether you were refreshing yourself or taking it for the first time you had to be there. It was difficult for me personally to work around my school schedule and my daughters child care, she was only in childcare when I was in school or working, so if I scheduled a training on a day I didnt work I would have to find childcare (which isnt cheap). Or I would have to go to the training instead of seeing my client (if that time slot was available to do the training), which made me kind of sad as I look forward to working with the clients I had and depending on how long the training was I may have a short check. Other than those two things which are just my personal problems lol this place is awesome! Check them out!**Edit: I should also add that Im a medical assistant so I understand the training process and staying current and up to date on information...I will say that having so many different training options-times was awesome because they were able to accommodate everyone and their life style needs.
