Staff seemed friendly. Tenants seemed like they are taken care of. Looked like there were enough activities for the tenants as well.

I had never been here before. We had a meal and the service was very good. We attended as friends of the Gideons. The presentation was so educational and well attended. They freely give Bibles and New Testaments around the world. Now let me say a word about the steak. I've never had such a wonderful, tender, delicious steak in my life. It needed NO knife, as tender as butter, and SO yummy! Plenty of parking, easy access, clean, well lit. Worth the trip! Highly recommended!

I've been a resident at Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge since the Grasslands independent living apartments were completed in July 2019. My wife and I couldn't be happier. We have a spacious apartment, beautiful views out our windows, a sizeable screened-in balcony, and upscale food that has grown to a 5-star restaurant and Bistro. The Prairie Rose Restaurant makes everything in-house. They have a full-time pastry chef. With appetizers like a Charcuterie Plate and Bruschetta, you can only imagine the taste of high-quality steaks, pork, chicken, fresh salmon, and more. There is a special every day. If you enjoy wine with lunch and dinner, they have an excellent selection. Our lunch and dinner desserts are all made in-house. Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge has so many activities every day that tenants get a 16-page monthly calendar with all event dates. You can join clubs, such as the Handyman's Club, which has a workroom with tools. But, best of all are the fantastic, friendly, caring employees, and so many tenants are our friends. Sometimes, being at Oakwood feels like getting a big hug.

My husband and I moved into Oakwood Village PR in June 2019. We live in one of the new Grasslands buildings and are so happy to be here. Lovely apartment, caring and excellent staff, many interesting and meaningful activities, friendly residents, many food options in the dining room and bistro. Its a great place to enjoy retirement!

My grandparents have lived here for about 4 years now. They absolutely love it. They like to describe it as living on a cruise ship. Oakwood has a dining room with a chef making fresh, quality meals that never disappoint. They have recently renovated, adding a bistro that serves soups, sandwiches, and other meals, as well as a salad bar. They also have a gym, general store, hair and nail salon, as well as other amenities. Oakwood has so much more to offer than I can type in this review. I strongly encourage anyone interested in getting a tour and checking the place out!

My husband Bob had a terrible pedestrian accident and was well cared for at Oakwood Village by the nursing staff, rehabilitation, dietary, and spiritual care. We especially enjoyed it when he could eat and enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas dinner in the lovely dining room as a special treat. Rehab residents who make a reservation can eat there at an appointed time with their loved ones for a reasonable price and the food is very good. I wouldn't hesitate to receive care there ever. The staff truly cares.

The week day staff is compassionate and well trained and employed by Oakwood. The weekend staff is hired from an agency and the care and compassion is lacking. They are working on fixing this but claim there are not enough people interested in this type of work.

My tour of the Oakwood Village went well. The assisted living housing was a small room with a bathroom and no kitchen. It felt very much like a hotel room. The staff was very professional and nice, they gave me a lot of information to take home and read on which was very helpful.
