I'm an Engineer and like being prepared for things. That being said it was time to investigate the options available in Assisted Living. Just in case. I visited many in the Fox Valley Area. I had a mental check list of what I would be looking for to best suit my wife and myself. Taking notes at each establishment. We both agreed that The Landings Of Kaukauna would be our best option. We found through our visits to many places that The Landings Of Kaukauna checked all the boxes and I had a lot. Care, Cleanliness, Rooms and Sizing, Friendly Helpful Staff, Comparable Pricing, Informative, Appetizing Meals, How Well The Building Was Maintained, Safety, Equipment Updates, Activities Available etc. to name a few. We felt we would be in very good care surrounded by people that help us to continue to live a quality life. I would highly recommend The Landings Of Kaukauna Assisted Living to anyone who is searching for outstanding requirements to meet their needs in their Golden Years. Thank you to all the Staff, the Facility Director, Kitchen Staff, Maintenance Man, Activities Director and everyone else we came in contact with. Even though Cindy and I had a short experience with The Landings, from day one we felt welcomed and part of the family. The staff is amazing and every day I visited I met more people who welcomed me with a smile. Diane always greeted me at the door with positive energy. Sophia, the activities coordinator, was always present with a smile and did her best to get Cindy to participate in activities. Jesse ,the maintenance support, was there to help with the moving of furniture and disposal. I felt very comfortable knowing Cindy was being well taken care of and I could visit at anytime. Thank you to the entire staff for all their support until the end.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Landings! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly attentive and genuinely cares about the residents, making everyone feel like family. The facilities are well-maintained and designed to foster social interaction. The common areas are inviting, making it easy for residents to gather and enjoy each other’s and loved ones company. I’ve seen firsthand how the entertainment, monthly themed dinners and activities have helped improve the residents’ mood and overall well-being.

Well my mom has been at The Landings of Kaukauna for almost 3 years in the Memory Care building and both her and her entire family couldn't be happier! In this day and age of the challenge of finding and keeping good staff The Landings has kept up with this. I feel when someone leaves they have the knack of finding new talent and in most cases better people! My mom is now reaching 96 years old with a severe case of dementia and the amount of activities they provide is amazing including crafts, bingo, exercise class, a visiting minister, time outside when weather permits, and special themed meals on a consistent basis. The facilities are clean and the employees always seem very happy and upbeat even on holidays. She has been in now 4 facilities and all have been very good but we all feel this place has been the best! Thanks to all who have been in my moms life at this stage and especially those at The Landings. Keep up the GREAT WORK!

My favorite thing about my The Landings of Kaukauna is the amazing staff. My wife and I have been living here for over 2 years. Every morning I sit in the dining area where the activities director plays checkers with me and others while we socialize over coffee. We share laughter, smiles & many stories. I beat her often playing! Another reason why I enjoy living at the Landings is because the staff are also my family. My wife and I did not have children but the staff here treat us like their loved ones. I have gained many wonderful friends living here, especially Steve & Fred. I have recently gone on hospice and truly believe that the staff and my friends here have kept me alive.

After a while here, I have seen so much compassion towards the residents. This is an assisted living that puts the residents first from respectfully providing cares to fun & thoughtful activities. The building has a home-like feel and the theater room is a definite bonus.

Very disappointed in the care of residents from what I’ve witnessed. The food I saw was mostly processed or frozen nothing fresh. Some of the residents wanted to grow fresh vegetables and were told by the manager Cindy they couldn’t because there might be contaminates in the soil. I also wouldn’t trust them the way they handle the residents cash accounts with possible misappropriations of funds.

They are AWESOME!! My mother was a challenge but the entire staff went above & beyond (including high school staff in the kitchen and the activities director) to help her adjust and feel loved. This is hands down one of the best assisted living facilities in the area.

The staff are amazing! Beautiful building. Awesome residents. Lots to do. Unfortunately, COVID has really made it difficult on all our lives. They are doing everything possible to maintaine high spirits. New management staff. Friendly atmosphere. I would gladly trust my loved one here.

The personal and medical care my Mom is receiving is acceptable. The meals served have become very poor, lacking in quantity, quality and nutritional value. One of the reasons we moved Mom to this facility was because of her inability to cook for herself. What has happened? What is being done to provide three square meals as promised ?

The care is fine but their food is poor. Supper is the problem. They served left overs Thursday so some residents ate dried cereal. Sad!!!
