My mother lived here for only 1.5 years before she passed, however, she really loved it. It is very clean, in a quiet neighborhood with walkable shops and even has a water softening system, a plus most apartments do not have. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. Carpeting and appliances were new. These apartments are definitely a Gem, you will not find anything better in the area.

My Mom lived at Hartland Meadows for 7 years. At first we were not sure how the transition from her home of 54 years to an apartment would be. Turns out we picked the best place. She loved having her own balcony to be out on in the nice weather and have some pots of flowers, to having her own washer and dryer right inside her apartment. It was a spacious place where all her things fit just right. She also enjoyed the activities like Bingo and the monthly birthday/welcome luncheon that are given there. The library with a huge selection of books and puzzles to check out was also a favorite. The owners Nancy and Byron have created a family type atmosphere that is welcoming to all. Sadly, she had to move to assisted living. She misses her place at Hartland Meadows everyday. Highly recommended! Laurel Fuller. (Shirley Fuller)

Nancy and her team were exceptionally helpful in all of my dealings. Phone calls were either answered or returned promptly. My task was to move out the belongings of a relative and the entire management team were supportive and helpful. It really says something when they're really nothing in it for them except Goodwill. I truly appreciated it

I recently moved from Hartland Meadows after six-plus years of joyful living. I had a spacious one bedroom apartment, with a lovely view of yard, flowers and trees. I enjoyed the residents, the delicious luncheons given by Nancy and Byron, the two libraries, easy access to exercise room, plus computer room. Nancy and Byron made sure that all was well at the Meadows, and so many visitors commented on the lovely decorations in the lobby. There was coffee hour three times a week, Thursday night Happy Hour, and often times residents went to Friday Night Fish fries. I treasure my years there, and will have fond memories of many good times and dear friends. Sincerely, Julie F

My wife and I are current residents of Hartland Meadows. The owners, Nancy and Byron are just fantastic! They are like family and have been since day one. Other residents are very friendly, and many are long-term residents. There are a variety of activities offered and many gatherings which are very fun, but optional if preferred. The building is beautiful and well maintained, with the occasional issue that might occur, being immediately addressed, unlike larger corporate owned buildings. The grounds are a parklike setting with many beautiful trees, shrubs, flowers and always well maintained. A variety of birds to watch and the occasional deer. It's just a wonderful place to call home and Nancy and Byron care for the comfort and safety which is greatly appreciated by all. We just love living here and look forward to many more years to come. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an extremely friendly, tranquil and secure place to call home.

I moved my mom and dad into Hartland Meadows in the fall of 2016. I had conducted a search of a number of senior living facilities in the Lake Country. The move in was easy, the setup of the apartment was very nice. The building was always quiet and clean. After having lived in their own home in another state for 35 years, it was a big relief to find a reasonably priced, well run apartment for mom and dad. My folks lived there for a little more than three years and had a great time there. The owners are local people and are very involved in the management. They address issues like a stuck garbage disposal quickly and keep a tidy, well-maintained operation. I believe this apartment complex is a stand-out for its high value to price.

My dad lived at Hartland Meadows for 10 years. He really enjoyed his home there after 78 years living in his home town. The people were friendly and things were taken care of very well. He misses it: I'd recommend it highly. He also enjoyed being so close to everything so he could walk everywhere.

My mother lived at the Hartland Meadows Retirement Apartments for 10 years until her unexpected passing. Over the years she made some true friends with other residence that would enjoy meeting in one of the many beautiful lounge areas to play cards, Wii Bowling and just have great conversations. In the mornings she loved to sit on her balcony with a cup of coffee enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching the Cardinals. Mom always raved about how the owners Nancy and Byron kept the place well maintained while making the residence feel welcome. When it was time to clean out moms apartment Nancy went above and beyond to make it a smooth transition. Nancy's compassion was greatly appreciated.

My dad lived at Hartland Meadows for 8 years, was very happy there, and made many friends, including Nancy and Byron, the owners, who are very much involved with taking care of the building and the tenants. They take security and safety of their residents very seriously and that put my mind at ease. My dad enjoyed having his own patio in a gorgeous setting with many flowers and trees he so greatly enjoyed. The owners' thoughtfulness, kindness, and generosity to all the tenants with their Covid precautions to keep residents safe, beautiful seasonal decorating, social events/parties, and well-stocked country store right in the building did not go unnoticed by my dad, my sister, or myself, and shows how much you care. >

My Mother lives here. It is such a wonderful place for her. Very safe, secure, clean, happy! The owners take very good care of the property and the residents. Anything they need, the owners are right there immediately to help. I can't say enough about this place. We are lucky to have found this place for mom.

The only reason I moved my parents out of Hartland Meadows is because of declining health. I wish we would've found the owners, Nancy and Byron and their 52 unit affordable senior apartment complex sooner. It is the perfect size community and in an awesome lake country location close to restaurants, shopping and other needed amenities. The owners have such pride in all they do as they run this independent senior living facility. My parents enjoyed the people they met as well as the many amenities like the underground parking, individual deck/patio, puzzle room, exercise area, community room for cards, bingo and gatherings with friends. There were even monthly birthday celebrations for all residents to mingle and get to know each other better. If there is a vacancy I would not hesitate to take a tour and commit as i am sure the opening won't last long.I honestly feel if we had found Hartland Meadows sooner my parents could've stayed independent longer.

My husband Ron and I have lived here for three years now . The owners Nancy and Bryon and manager Julie ,have been very accommodating from day one . The location is wonderful with many restaurants that are within walking distance. Nixon Park is also close by and has many activities throughout the year . There are activities here too like bingo, birthday parties and social gatherings . During Covid-19 there where guidelines to keep us all safe !! We have made lots of new friends here and love the quiet surroundings. I would recommend Harland Meadows for anyone looking for a safe place for your family member .

The owners were super easy to work with and care about the residents. They were accommodating to our moms needs and our large family. We appreciate how easy the transition was and felt comfortable with our mom living there. We would recommend Hartland Meadows and owners, Nancy and Byron, to anyone.

Hartland meadows was home for mom for many years and she enjoyed the wonderful care by the owners and the many friendships fostered during her stay there. Folks there made her last independent living years a joy and she appreciated her kind neighbors, community events and her Thursday card game.

I have known several people who have lived at Hartland Meadows in the past, including my mother-in-law, along with several who are presently living there. All of them have felt a significant level of comfort and security. The residents and the owners, Byron and Nancy are like one big happy family.....they watch out for each other, help each other, and have good times together. We have a small band that plays for the residents parties from time to time, and we play in many other similar facilities. Hartland Meadows stands out as a place I would choose to live. I give them 5 stars!

Hartland Meadows Retirement Apartments have been a wonderful environment and just what I had hoped for. My parents initially moved into a 2 bedroom unit with a bath and a half. Together, they enjoyed their quiet, safe, affordable apartment as well as the caring and kind folks that own and manage the community. Now living independently for the first time in her life, I feel confident that my mom is surrounded by people who will help her if the need arises. That gives me peace of mind. I'm glad to know that she can get some exercise by either going outside, walking the corridors, or going to the exercise room if she wishes. She can also visit the on-site "Country Store" or head to Bingo on Tuesday nights. Mom especially likes the seasonal decorations in the reception area, and the ability to choose her own flowers and garden decor for her private patio. Although her life has changed without Dad, I am glad that my Mom is safe and comfortable in lovely place that gives her peace of mind.
