My parents and I visited Harbour Village for a tour with Melissa Pinzer. Melissa was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed and more. The facility looks very nice and Melissa made my parents feel very welcome.

My in laws are here. We have looked at every facility in the Milwaukee area for my mother and my in laws. This is one of the best. Great food, nice rooms, activities and a garden. Residents are friendly.

What I like best at the Concord are the exercise classes, bean bag, toss, and Wii bowling that keep us physically active. The games like Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, quizzes and puzzles help to keep our minds alert.

I was able to tour Harbour Village with Mother this week to search for her next home. The campus was beautiful, well lit and had beautiful green space surrounding the buildings. Melissa our tour guide was spectacular and accommodated the exact day and time we needed for the tour. She was compassionate and extremely skilled in her field. Staff and residents we encountered were happy and friendly. Top notch!!! My colleagues in health care rate this as a top Assisted Living and I can see why.

Most often told by caretakers that they're understaffed and they don't always have time to do everything for the residents they should. Very discouraging when it's costing over 7K/mo for somewhat minimal care.

We chose this facility for a 30 day respite, which only a few facilities will consider. I would give 4 stars but they are in the process of updating the common areas which will help the overall aesthetic. The staff here are VERY pleasant, competent, and responsive. Resident requests are taken seriously. Activities are above average. For us, having an onsite driver to help with appointment transportation was a huge bonus. Not much offered for outdoor activities and only a few areas to sit despite having green space. We didn't need much assistance with personal cares so I can't speak to that. Overall a solid facility with great staff, worth a tour and consideration.

Assisted Living care is lacking. My 99 year old father has developed bed sores, penis sores, is missing his clothes and towels that they launder. We visit several times a week and are very vocal. Our concerns are in his care plan and yet he is not being taken care of. Find a better place! They are all talk and increased his care $9,000 per year. Care is negligent.

My mom recently passed away in Harbor House Memory care unit. She was there almost 4 and a half years. The staff was always kind and helpful. Mom was almost always clean and always cared for. Staffing shortages and Covid made it challenging at times but I was not worried that mom was safe and well cared for. My mother’s room was nice and had plenty of area for her care and visits from family and friends. I live out of state and the activity coordinator, Marge, was very willing to facilitate weekly Facetime calls with my mother. That meant so much to me. Thank you Marge! And thank you to Jackie and all the aids that helped out with my mother’s care.

I have visited this campus multiple times in the last 2 years as an outside vendor, and I see they are constantly putting work to keep the building up to date, training their staff, and providing great care to residents. It is one of the few places that takes the term "aging in place" and really excels at it with a multitude of care options available from independent living to memory care. This offers people the ability to stay "home" as their care needs evolve which reduces stress on the resident as well as the family.

A gorgeous campus that offers a full continuum of care. Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care to cover your loved one’s care needs. Above industry standards for care and the food was great too. Would definitely recommend the facility to anyone in search.

What A Change! After a difficult experience settling into another facility, our family found Harbour Village Senior Living. Our loved one moved into Assisted Living and was soon followed by his spouse. We noticed improved quality of life, health and safety. The care team is compassionate, responsive, respectful and friendly. They’ve dedicated time to build personal relationships with our loved ones and made the aging experience easier to navigate for our family. We are so grateful to our HV partners for providing great health and home.

I moved my father in this facility in July. He was lonely in his house after losing my mother in 2021. My father instantly met wonderful residents, who are eager to greet & make friends with new occupants. The staff is extremely friendly & attentive. The food served is restaurant quality. The management staff is also friendly & incredibly responsive. My father made an instant transformation to happiness. I highly recommend this facility to any senior looking to improve their lives. It’s the place to be as you age.

I have found satisfaction in knowing that my husband is in a safe place and is being given the care he needs. I visit him daily and I am greeted with a smile by the staff when I come.They are friendly and include my husband in the activities occurring during the day. I never find him sitting in his room alone. I find this is the best place for him at this time of his life.

A great overview of the facility was provided with ability to observe and interact with residence who were engaged and share their experiences and provided a impressive contribution to the over view for the facility. only problem is that we will need to downsize at this time. We moved my father in law in 5 months ago and he really loves being there. It's a very clean, welcoming facility that has the feeling of home. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and very understanding. They truly want the best for their residents. Debra Barth and her staff work very hard to ensure all residents feel comfortable and safe- especially during COVID. My father in law loves the food there too! Lots of variety and always has good flavor. I would recommend Harbour Village to anyone who is seeking a senior living facility.

Harbour Village is a wonderful place to live and here are the reasons why I am here. I've lived here for 28 months and have loved every day. I made the decision to move here when I turned 80. The Campus is beautiful and has a wonderful open area to walk in. It is very quiet and peaceful here at Harbour Village. It is close to the Village of Greendale for shopping and attending special events held in the Village. The apartments have a wonderful floor plan and there are a lot of closets. There is a nice ledge outside the door for seasonal decorations. The apartments are in the 4 wings that are off the beautiful Atrium. The skylight in the Atrium gives natural light at the end of all the hallways. The Staff here is wonderful. Very friendly and you can feel free to ask any questions you might have. They are very helpful. There is a beautiful dining room. The food is delicious, and you have many choices to choose from that are on the menu. It's just like being in a restaurant with formal service and table linens. There are many social activities to fill your days and entertainment comes in on Monday evenings to entertain us. This all takes place in the Atrium. My advice to you would be, look at this as a new experience in your life. You are protected 24/7. You push a button and help comes. It's very quiet here and you will get a good night's sleep! 🙂 There is transportation to stores, appointments and church. Your apartment also gets cleaned. This is all included. I hope this helps with your decision as to where you want to move to. We all have experienced the inconveniences of the COVID-19. What I have posted is how life at Harbour Village was before the pandemic. This is how things will be when our lives get back to normal. The Staff here has kept us as safe as possible and kept the residents occupied with activities held in a safe environment.

We moved to Harbour Village 18 months ago and have never looked back. This is the only retirement community we considered because we knew it was a good experience for a relative who also lives here. We wanted the privacy of our own apartment but since we no longer drive, needed transportation for medical appointments. We immediately felt welcome by staff and the friendly interest of other residents we met over dinner. It was like living in a college dorm only classier! We enjoyed group games, exercise and yoga, bus outings to movies and community events, a book club, an art studio that included novices like me, and delicious dining room meals, expertly served. And then the pandemic struck. We’ve been having meals delivered to our apartment. We wear face masks and keep social distance with others. All along we are informed of CDC guidelines which are religiously followed. Our director succeeded in arranging on site COVID shots for all staff and residents. Slowly some activities are being resumed with strict safeguards. In fact we have never felt unsafe because we know the effort that goes into keeping best sanitary practice. We know the new normal will be different but what remains the same is that we are really happy to be here.

I have an elderly mother and aunt who live in the facility, and I am truly impressed with the levels the management has gone to to keep the residents safe from Covid-19. A delivery system has been established so that I'm still able to provide them with their needed items. There are frequent surveys of the residents' heath to identify any potential problems and temperature checks as needed. In addition, the staff has also made a great effort to provide activities and entertainment while still having residents social distance. My anxiety level about their potential exposure/infection of the virus is virtually nil because of this. Thank you!

While a lovely setting and some good workers if your loved one needs true "assisted care" please look elsewhere. They are not equipped to give this sort of help nor do they seem interested in providing it, but that won't stop them from getting you in the door with false promises.

Habour Village Memory care may not be the newest or prettiest facility but the staff is very caring. The president , Deb, is nice and very approachable. My mom was there for 1.5 years she did not love the place, who would vs. home, but she never wanted to leave Habour Village. I will miss visiting all of you. Jon wrote this review.
