My furnace alarm was going off and I called the emergency number. My information was taken and referred to the maintenance department. Chris called me shortly to say he would be there soon. He came within 10 minutes and was able to identify the problem and quickly solved the problem. He also changed the filter on the furnace which was quite dirty. My manager Rick also followed up with concern and made sure the problem was solved.

My air conditioning had a problem this past week. Our building manager, Randy, was quick to come check.it out and even brought a fan to keep me comfortable. The fix required an HVAC visit, which occurred earlier than expected! My only complaint might be that the property manager, Jen, came up to our activity room and spoke to me in front of other friends. She spoke down to me, telling me that I should never set my air below 20 degrees colder than the outside temperature, and that was why the coils had frozen. She had told me the same thing earlier in my apartment. Maybe she thought I had forgotten? I felt like a child reprimanded in front of my friends. When HVACC came, he said something had been stuck in a part of the unit and that's why it had frozen.

Foresthill Highlands is my third 55 & Over Retirement Community that I have lived. Foresthill Highlands excels in responding to a Maintenance Request. Usually responding in less than 24 hours. The only exception is whenever a request requires an outside contractor or a particular part that needs to be ordered. Wonderful place to live.

The grounds are unkept not cut properly bushes and trees have been neglected. The snow removal is not good. The big one that we had in January I didn't get out until 3 o'clock on Saturday afternoon and that's not acceptable. We are paying a good deal of money to have proper care on the grounds like I had at my home. And the Director never answers your call and doesn't even know what we're doing here in the townhomes. Very very disappointing. I stay here because my kids are close by and it's easier for them to come to me if needed.

I think the ambassadors do a great job organizing get togethers. Maintenance is done quickly. Removal of snow is done efficiently. I have been here about 3 yrs. The only issue I have is that people seem to sit with the same people so it's hard to get to know anyone. I feel like I don't want to attend for that reason.

In my 10th year. Extremely favorable. But do have issue -- as do any in-home service providers 100% -- about push open button on inside doors not available. 100%!!! Observe on -site anyone picking up sn oblong package delivered having to get through the door or using any type of walker. Has MOTHING to do with indeoendent living, Section 8 housing provides them as do commercial or small businesses etc. Very poor planning, upkeep, renovation, whatever. Not user-friendly access no matter what situation presents. Prior rent increases would have covered cost and enhanced ease of functional living conditions. No input ever requested. Former property manager declared this is not assisted living (really!) and cost could have been more reasonable at time of renovating door and surrounding threshhold and framing. Ask residents for more input, they're the ones who live and use their unit.

I am in a townhome, moved in when they were new almost 3 years ago, and I am mostly satisfied. Two issues, however: (1)The yard between buildings 12 & 13 is mostly weeds and bare patches. I know the ground is rock hard but why can't they try a spring weed control & maybe reseed & fertilize and then WATER regularly. Also, I didn't understand why they dug up perfectly good shrubbery this fall and put in new plantings and then never watered them? I won't be surprised if it is all dead in the spring. I'd think it would be cheaper to water once in a while than to keep replacing plants (and even small trees 2 years ago because no one watered). And please don't plant stuff that needs care like trimming and then no one takes care of it….(2) I wish the main office had a mailbox at the parking lot or even in the lobby of Bldg 1. When you use a walker, it is a long way to the office! ……On the positive side, I appreciate how prompt the maintenance people and office staff respond when I have a problem inside.

I have requested lights put on our addresses outside on the road and have not received a response and I have written to corporate more than once. Also they did not remove the snow from my garage driveway until 3:00pm in the afternoon. Consequently missing my appointment.

I came here 3 months after my husband had passed. I didn't know anyone. After a few weeks, I started meeting people. This was exactly where I was meant to be. Now, I know many more. I look forward to the Highland Happenings each month to see what activities I want to do.I love my apartment in the townhomes

For independent living, no medical assistance or services. Well maintained attractive buildings and apartments. Active social life if desired. Close to civic buildings, library, and shopping. Ample walking areas within complex grounds.

Its sad that they lie about this being a senior living facility, I have a toddler running around over head for the last 3 months. Child and mother come every week on Thurs thru Sunday Complaints fall on deaf hears.

Had to move when wife couldn't do steps. wanted townhouse but settled for 2B 2Bath apartment. Do as much or as little as you want socially. I broke a shelf in frig and in two hours had new one (no cost). Never once said I wish I had a snow shovel, or rake. 65 degrees in winter in garage. (Came to love WI winters). Just what we needed.

If you want senior help it is non existent here. Amenities are also really shabby. Nice place to live if you are totally and completely independent. Beautiful area.
