Don and I chose Milestone after working with Jenny Swanson, an assisted living advisor. she is a cost free service. She helped set up tours and interviews with multiple assisted living communities. We want people to know we had specific criteria for the place we chose to live the rest of our lives. We interviewed with Jennifer Kingston and Brent Poradish. They were both very professional while being down to earth and easy to talk to. The apartment placement was open enough that we got to pick what we wanted. They both continue a close relationship with us as residents and are very responsive not only to our physical needs but to needs we have had in adapting to apartment life. After over 50 years of living in our own home it is an adjustment. We have been here now for 6 months and still feel we made the right decision to move to assisted living now rather than wait for some catastrophic event that would cause us to be put someplace and possibly have to be separated. Milestone is a good choice for us. We still have our friends in for a game day. We have been meeting interesting people with whom we can spend time and share similar interests.

Milestone has been a blessing to our family. They hold regular events that provide opportunities for family connection with our Mom. They also go above and beyond to assist in problem solving for issues that impact her daily life. Brent and Jennifer make sure things run smoothly for members and families. Other staff members address issues quickly and with kindness and compassion. It is heartwarming to see our Mom happy and well cared for in this season of her life and we appreciate all they do for our family.

It's been about a month since my grandparents moved into assisted living at Milestone. It's been a month of adjustments and changes that I knew would have highs and lows. Milestone staff have been accommodating and genuinely interested in supporting me and my grandparents in making this big transition a success. As is common, my grandparent's decision to move to assisted living was one made after a steady decline in their ability to live safely independently. They were to a point where my grandpa could no longer physically care for my grandma in the way he had been for years, yet they wished to remain living together. At Milestone my grandma is now able to get the care she needs and my grandpa is able to remain independent in his daily activities all in the same apartment-style unit that feels more home-like than the typical assisted living. From the moment I called to inquire, I felt listened to and supported. Administrators Brent, Jennifer, Bridgette and all the resident assistants are professional and kind. My grandpa is, without question, a tough customer but Milestone staff have done their very best to make this difficult transition one that he can feel confident in. I visit my grandparents almost every day and at different times of the day. The building is always clean and administrators are present. Milestone was a great choice for my grandparents and I look forward to continued partnership with the facility staff as they continue to settle into their new home.

Milestone Senior Living has been an absolute blessing for my uncle. From the very first day, the leadership team made us feel supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. Jen is always so kind, welcoming, and on top of every detail, and Brent brings such steady, reassuring leadership that you can feel throughout the whole building. The caregivers at Milestone are truly exceptional. They’re patient, gentle, and they treat my uncle like he’s part of their own family. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in every interaction. And I have to mention Brygit, the nurse, who has been incredible. Even with the many moving parts of his care, she takes her time, explains everything, and brings such warmth and confidence that our whole family feels at ease. My uncle has felt safe, respected, and completely at home, which is everything we hoped for. I can’t thank Milestone enough for the compassion, consistency, and heart they’ve shown every step of the way.

We moved my Dad to Milestone to help assist in his care, as it got difficult to manage for our small family unit. The staff were wonderful and incredibly helpful during his time there, frequently checking in on him and communicating any concerns to me. He was a hospice patient and unfortunately has passed, but the day prior to his passing when we were spending a lot of time with him in his room, the staff put together a cart of snacks, water, and coffee for us as we sat with him. It was a small gesture, but it meant so much at the time.

Although we went in a different direction for my mother, I really appreciated the way Thea presented the information and provided very timely feedback and responses to my questions. We may need to change direction in another year and Thea will be my first call. Our initial contact was made through A Place for Mom.

Brought my parents to see and they (and us!) really love it! It seems like a perfect fit for them. Thea was very helpful and knowledgeable and my mom loved her too! So many options for them to feel welcome and comfortable after living on their own at ages 90/93. Looking forward to moving them in and seeing what is to come : )

Thea at Milestone does such a great job of communicating with family and following through with what she says she will do. Milestone does a wonderful job of helping our elderly population when they need it most. They move as quickly as needed when people are in a pinch and need to get placed quickly so they have a safe place to call home.

Contacted Milestone with questions and possible openings. Thea got back to me right away and was able to answer all my questions and she is so friendly. Thea even made the visit work around multiple schedules. Milestone is A+ service and highly recommended.

Thea from the Memory care facility was amazing. I was in need of immediate placement and she went above and beyond to make it happen. At the last minute I was able to move my father to a facility close to where I live and she totally understood. Her efforts were greatly appreciated. Ty.

It is actually hard to put into words what the staff of Milestone has meant to me and my family. Saying they are saviors and angels is not too strong of words to use. My 82 year old mother was in an assisted living facility in her home town which, we soon found out, was not qualified to handle her special needs. It left all of us, especially my dear mother, traumatized. We were pushed to remove her from the facility. Police and EMT,s were called to take her away. Can you imagine?!? In a mad rush to find an appropriate facility for her, my brother found the most wonderful, friendly, helpful facility in the Eau Claire area where he lives. The staff worked with us night and day to hurriedly get Mom admitted and properly cared for. Everyone we have met with and talked to have been so nice and caring. They truly love the work that they do and strive so diligently to do their best for all their residents, including my mother. Rather than hearing stories of her problem behaviors, we now hear stories about her interacting with others, helping others, playing BINGO, and even being a spectator at a guinnea pig raceha! Who would have thought. My mother does have challenging behaviors but whe handled appropriately and with love, miracles do happen So, thank you Milestone; thank you Thea, Kelly, Jessica, Abby, Robbie, Jeff and the rest of the wonderful staff at Milestone. You are all angels to us. How lucky is my mom? I can finally sleep at night without worrying about her safety, care, and happiness. You just can’t put a cost on that. My folks moved in just over 3 weeks ago after living on their own for 64+ years. Milestone was extremely helpful with the move, giving us dollies and carts to use. My mom says the ladies working there are wonderful, especially Justina. My dad enjoys the food and visiting with the other residents. Our family is happy we found this facility for them.
