Ramsey woods is a very cute, warm and inviting facility. The minute you walk in, you feel like home with the ambiance of jazz music playing in the background and a lit fireplace with seating area present right as you walk in. The staff is super friendly and always greets visitors with a smile on their faces. Residents are always clean and dressed well. The facility is very clean. Rooms are cleaned daily. Beds are made daily. Smells great. Residents are always out of their rooms engaging in daily activities and always around staff. Facility staff encourages residents to come out and socialize. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure that the residents needs are met. Very calm and peaceful environment. Your loved one will be well taken care of here at Ramsey Woods. Guaranteed.

Ramsey Woods is adorable. It is such a nice and inviting home for your loved one to live at if they are in need of an assisted living. They serve delicious meals and desserts - their two cooks are so sweet. They also have super fun and engaging daily activities that all residents attend. The place is always clean and decorated cute for every season and holiday. All staff in the entire building are so kind and attentive to all needs of the residents. Overall, it is a wonderful experience every time in the building. ©

I've dealt with several facilities over the years in various careers and few feel as comfortable and engaged as Ramsey Woods. If you're looking for a high level of care for your loved ones, I can confidently say this is a solid choice for memory care.

I am happy to share our experience with Ramsey Woods in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Finding a place for your parents, or other loved ones when they can no longer take care of themselves and require professional help is a very stressful and emotional experience. My siblings and I have learned that this winter as both of our parents were diagnosed with dementia. Our mom (90 yrs old) and dad (94 yrs old) both have dementia although the signs and symptoms are very different in both of them. Dementia is a very complicated condition! There is no template for how it goes and you have to be ready for changes at a moment's notice. When we found ourselves needing a place for them with short notice, Ramsey Woods was recommended by another facility near my parents' home in Upper Michigan. I live in Brookfield, WI so we reached out to Kristen at Ramsey Woods and began the process of transferring them there. In short, our experience, while stressful and emotional, was made much better by the Administration and beautifully trained staff at Ramsey Woods. They've obviously have knowledge, training, and compassion for their residents experiencing dementia and all that can include. Our parents were welcomed and cared for in such a personal way. I could hardly believe how each staff member was very familiar with my mother's behaviors caused by her dementia and how they could work around those behaviors in order to take care of my dad in the ways he needed. I won't go into their personal health information here, but trust me when I say that my mom became quite a handful with her dementia and the staff was patient with her and also kept the safety of my dad, other residents, and their staff in mind while making choices. My dad has poor eyesight, is hard of hearing and has a speech impediment that makes him embarrassed to speak. The staff at RW and the therapies they've offered him has allowed him to show improvement in one month's time that we never thought was possible. Communication is still difficult at time for him, but it's manageable and he enjoys being around people for the first time in a long time. We have been delighted with the care, and especially the quick responses to questions or suggestions from my siblings and me. I have a friend who worked for the Office on Aging for 25 years and when I told her that my parents were at Ramsey Woods, she said, "Oh that is one of the best ones." That made me feel great about our choice. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Ann, the head cook and baker at RW. She isn't just a cook, she is a direct part of the care for each resident. She knows their likes and dislikes and makes changes to meals with that in mind. When my mom was acting out, Ann could come in and talk to my mom to calm her, because my mom liked her so much. She is a real gem! Rose, the RN on staff manages to keep all of the residents' needs at her fingertips and also gets to know them on a personal level. She would also take the time to explain things to me whenever I called with a concern. She is a real blessing and has trained her staff to be professional and caring. Ramsey Woods is a lovely place and easily the best care facility we have dealt with as a family. God Bless them all!

I visited recently to introduce a new-to-Milwaukee hospice provider (Agrace) and immediately noticed how clean and homey-like this facility is. I was greeted by a staff member and then spoke briefly with the ED; both were incredibly friendly and welcoming. In my experience with hospice care, these small memory care facilities offer some of the highest-quality care for some of our most vulnerable neighbors and I could tell immediately that Ramsey Woods is one of those special places.

I visited Ramsey Woods recently and was very impressed. The staff were kind and engaging from the moment I walked into the community. The atmosphere is very cozy and home like- the fireplace was on and classical music was playing for the residents. Kristen, the executive director, and Rose, the director of health and wellness are very passionate about providing quality care to their residents. Overall, I would recommend Ramsey Woods for anyone who is seeking memory care.

I appreciate the smaller size of this community and everything being on one-level, especially since it is a memory care. I also love that they have a courtyard that is accessible to residents, so they can access outside throughout the day in a place where they can still be supervised but don't run the risk of eloping. The building is under new management, so I feel exciting things are ahead! It is worth checking out if you are looking for somewhere close to home for your family!

Ramsey Woods is a hidden gem! They've treated my father and our whole family as their OWN family. Caregivers, housekeepers, chefs and administration are ALL wonderful. Everyone pitches in to make this a beautiful home-away-from-home for Dad. We feel very fortunate to have found Ramsey Woods!

I absolutely love this assisted living home for my father. He recently moved in this past year and there has been no regrets. Everytime I come to visit him, I'm welcomed by a young nicely groomed lady. She is always smiling and looks like she is very proud of her job. I've had the enjoyment of sitting down with their executive director, she too seems to care about her job and residents. When I came to visit my dad one day, the management team was out helping the care staff, Ive never been to a place where the management team went out of their way to engage with their residents. My fathers needs are always meet. He loves the engaging activities and the home made meals. I'm so happy we can call this place home for a man that means the world to me. I know they love him just as much as I do.
