LakeHouse - Chippewa truly is a great place for my dad to live. The staff is very welcoming & engaging. It’s a beautiful facility - from the gathering area as you enter the building, to the spacious dining room, activity room, sunroom and many additional areas for meeting and enjoying special time with friends and family. Dad has a one bedroom apartment with a very nice view. The staff members are so helpful with anything the residents or their family members may need. And their compassion makes a big difference in insuring the residents feel well cared for. In turn, families can feel more at ease, knowing their loved one is safe and receiving excellent care.

My dad has been at Lakehouse Assisted Living for over a month. We were able to tour the facility with my dad prior to him moving in. All staff have been wonderful if my dad or his family had any questions pertaining to his care. My dad reports he loves his meals, Staff being there when he calls on them and being able to get his Homecare PT, OT and nursing appointments all in one place. My in-laws moved to LakeHouse Chippewa Falls 13 years ago. Both enjoyed the wonderful care and activities provided while remaining independent. They were able to age in place there, and under their skilled and compassionate care, were able to each spend their last days surrounded by, and cared for, by the loving staff at LakeHouse. I will be eternal grateful to this facility and staff.

I spent a little over 2 months at Lake house and I have nothing but good things to say. I doubt I had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to respond to my call bell--the meals were good--the help were great. If I ever need help again this is where I would go. Nothing but praise for this place.

Lake House staff and living areas are wonderful ! Our father has been there 6 months now and he has had good care by caring people. The rooms are clean and staff are available 24 hrs a day. The dining area, food and cooks are very good at finding out what residents like and cater to them regularly.

My mother was at Lakehouse for the last two years of her life. The staff was amazing and so kind. The onsite nurses were very caring and knowledgeable. My current business focuses on helping seniors with relocating and I have moved several people into Lakehouse and they all remark about how much they like it there.

The staff turnover is high and they are chronically understaffed. If the cleaning person is on vacation, the units don't get cleaned. Deep cleaning of the units NEVER happens. Food arrives at the table cold, or at the very best, room temperature. Off campus activities almost never happen because the ancient bus they have rarely is running. On campus activities like exercise class or bingo, etc. are hit or miss. Residents go to the scheduled activity and then sit and wait, sometimes someone shows up to lead the activity, often times not. We are looking to get my relative out of this place as quickly as possible. They do NOT deliver on what they promise!!

Your facility is spectacular but I would rate your drive way a "negative number". There is no way to miss that blasted hole. I have seen way to many near misses of cars almost hitting each other. It has been like that for a few months now don't you feel its time to have it fixed? I drive in and out of that drive daily and I hope I am not one of those that gets hit.! Thank you. A very concerned citizen and sharer of the drive way.
