My mother has been living at the Hamilton house for almost one year now. At first things seem to be very good and that we made a good choice. As of lately we have had problems with bedbugs and this has been going on for about one month. I have called the staff repeatedly. Nobody returns my telephone calls, and my mother is in her room being eaten alive by these bedbugs and no one seems to do anything about it. The front desk told me that I should go to Walmart and buy isopropyl alcohol and come over and spray all of the furniture and my mother. After reporting this, the staff has done absolutely nothing no follow up with my mother or myself. Food service is being brought to her room and they have done so except last night nobody came to feed her at all. This is what I would call. Terrible care. I would classify this his borderline elder abuse someone at the facility better do something soon or will be seeking legal council. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anybody.

Hamilton House was a great place to call home for my aunt. The staff were accommodating and compassionate to her needs I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a loved one.

My mom is coming up on her 1-year anniversary at Hamilton House. She wasn't safe living alone in her townhome, so we found Hamilton House and moved her up from the Chicago area. Alzheimer's made it difficult for her to understand why she had to move, so the process was not at all easy. She struggled for a while with anger and depression. The staff at Hamilton House, however, helped us in every way possible. They were so patient and accommodating, with her and with her family. They helped guide her and worked to keep her as independent as possible. In April, my mom transitioned to memory care and the change has been amazing. I worried about her losing more control of her life, but she actually gained freedom from making daily decisions that she was no longer capable of making. She loves the staff, stopping to hug them all the time. She tells me how much she loves her room and the place she lives. Crystal, Amanda and Carrie treat each resident with the utmost love, care, and respect. I have had nothing but pleasant, helpful interactions with everyone on staff from day one. Tory does an excellent job of organizing activities, onsite and off, for the residents to enjoy. I really do feel like the general goal of Hamilton House is for everyone to be able to live their best life.

My Mother and I have been on this painful transitional period for over 20 years of Dementia and Early Onset Alzheimers. The love and compassion the staff has is beyond exeptional. Two years ago I had to move my Mother from her home in Chicago. Safety is the number one consern for all the residents. I know my Mom is in good hands and hearts at the Hamilton House.

Mom moved into Hamilton House Memory Care unit mid-May. So these comments reflect our familie's collective observations from the first 40 days at HHMC. Eileen was very helpful in getting Mom's financial matters organized in a painless manner. All the staff were friendly, patient, and supportive in helping get Mom comfortable with a transition to Memory Care. Crystal and her care team knew how to handle the transition bumps in the road. Carrie has infectious enthusiasm and gets Mom involved in all activities. The Maintenance staff have all been helpful in addressing questions and providing support as we moved Mom into her apartment. The Memory Care unit common areas are very clean, spacious, and tastefully appointed. The bottom line is our family gives a big "real good feel" to Hamilton House.

The owner was so enjoyable to chat with. She made sure we were happy and we certainly were!! The location was great, close enough to walk downtown and grab dinner. Patio room to enjoy the breeze. We enjoyed multiple bike trails and also enjoyed fair food at the Walworth County fair. We WILL be back 🙂

My 96 year old father moved into Hamilton House two weeks ago. He is really happy and we are delighted with what is available. The staff has been so helpful- from administration to friendly front desk, and maintenance guys available to help. Professional and personal, a perfect combination to make people welcome and feel at home. What a great choice for our family. We feel confident that our dad's we'll being is in great hands. He will thrive here!

The Hamilton House has been very efficient and very understanding, with both parents living there. When our father passed in December, the staff was very comforting, and we were able to be with our mother, which was very comforting for all of us. Both our parents have been taken care of very well, and my mother is doing well, after our father passed. My father would say that the food was excellent, and he was happy at the Hamilton House with our mother. The staff has taken care of both parents, and their comments have been excellent on how they have been treated by the staff. .

The place seemed very nice at first; however, when you need to reach someone to check on a loved one after hours, NO ONE answers the phone! They need to have someone available - even an answering service - after hours in case there is a security or medical issue.

All of the staff do their best to keep all of the residents happy and healthy. It's so hard not seeing my father now because of COVID 19, but I know that at Hamilton House he gets the best possible care.

Someone found a stolen check made out to me. A honest employee turned it in and and tracked me down. Then mailed it to me. I'm very grateful.

Hamilton House is a brand new senior living community in Cedarburg. The location is great, a few minute drive from downtown but placed away from noisy, busy roads. The staff is incredible and really has the residents' best interest at heart. There are plenty of room size options, the food is amazing, and the residents really bring a family atmosphere. I want to live at a place like this when my time comes.
