I lived at the Springbrook Village Apartments for three years and have since moved out of state. Although it is for residents aged 55+, I was closer to the age of the residents' visiting children. Even with yearly rental increases, it was more reasonable than other places comparatively, and has underground garage parking which was high on my priority list when apartment searching. The Property Manager is pleasant and helpful with problems or concerns to the extent possible. My recent two bedroom apartment felt spacious and had a balcony. The first year my one bedroom seemed small with no balcony, but left more money for fun. Note that if you choose to live on the west side, those apartments are much hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. Certain pets are allowed... pre-walk the route with your pet from the available apartment to the designated outside pet area to determine if your pet can get there in time. I used the laundry room which was a good place for a bit of social interaction. That required healthy walking "to and from" exercise as well as a timer to return on time. Only some apartments have washers/dryers. Talented creative residents decorate the lobby, social room and halls. Numerous activities are held in the social room, including but not limited to: holiday luncheons/dinners, birthday celebrations, games, movies/tv, special events such as guest speakers on dementia, musicians and resident created craft fairs, and exercise equipment (limited). The most popular (good for the brain) activity was doing puzzles which when framed made the halls appear as a lovely art gallery. I gave free talks once a month on varied topics to a small group of interested residents, which felt purposeful and meaningful for me. I was blessed there with kind neighbors and friends. I would have liked to see: updated shopping carts for groceries, water and coffee dispensers readily available in the social room, a walking path, a fenced pet playground, a couple more pieces of exercise equipment for upper body as well as weights/stretching bands, and additional on-site hours for a property manager.

Spring Brook Village is one of the best Independent Living Senior apartment communities you will find. It has spacious floor plans, a great community room with an outdoor courtyard, plenty of activities, and great management!!!

Springbrook Village Apartments was a beautiful place for my grandma. The facility was always clean and welcoming with residents and staff. Ashley, the manager, is a very kind soul and was an amazing person to work with throughout the entire experience - from move in to move out. They have a family like atmosphere and every resident would greet you in the hall. The facility also has an activities room which was my grandmas favorite when she could attend where the residents would play card games, puzzles, and so much more. They also would offer church mass, spa days, and other interests which were great for my grandma especially when she was hesitant on the activities at first. The maintenance man would also fix and/or repair anything that was asked in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this place for yourself or your loved one. This was a hidden gem I never knew about in a town so close to me.
