I have had to deal with mold in the windows for the second year. It took a letter from my doctor for them to finally clean the windows. There is a sound in the walls that sounds like water dripping. A sound that sounds like squeaky doors opening. Because they let ANYBODY move in with residents, they've had an infestation of roaches on the south end of the building. So many people that are not suppose to be living here are here, we don't feel safe in our own homes. It's suppose to be a smoke free building but I get TIRED of smelling cigarettes. Every time we get new management, they're stealing money from the residents. All we get are excuses from management. This place SUCKS, don't let the pictures fool you. If you're looking for a nice quite, smoke-free place, keep looking. DO NOT make Algonquin Manor your home. I can't wait to get out of here. As seniors, we should be able to enjoy life, we should be able to sleep in peace day and night. So many apartment complexes don't care able seniors and this is one of them. So many are in the city of Milwaukee. I can't help but wonder if the seniors living in Brookfield or Menomonee Falls live like we live.
