I would like to respond to the negative review posted by my sister [name removed]. As a family practice physician in Beloit for the past 37 years and as someone who visited my father every day during his stay at Willowick, I found the care at this facility to be beyond reproach. My sister reported Willowick to the State, who after an extensive investigation, found no deficiencies. Coping with aging parents who have deteriorated to the point where they require residential care is always an emotionally difficult situation. I was confident in having my father cared for at Willowick, as I have only had positive experiences over the years with my other patients who have resided there. Staff was always professional and respectful to my father and myself. Staff was always available to address concerns and I found Chimel Jackson to be an exceptional administrator, both in the way she runs the facility and in her deep caring for the best interests of her residents. She and her staff are skilled at navigating complex family dynamics, always keeping the residents best interests at heart. I have recommended this Willowick facility to many people both professionally and personally.

I have visited Willowick facilities and could not be more impressed with the staff and buildings! Very warm and inviting environment; friendly and attentive to their residents. I'm not surprised as I know some of the owners and personally know of the wonderful care they have provided for seniors who have been blessed to cross paths with them. My mom has been living at Willowick for about a month. The staff are amazing! From the first day of residency she has been treated with compassion and kindness. My mom often talks about individuals by name, I am relieved and reassured that she is bonding with her caregivers. Yesterday Caris , the director visited mom and she listened to her concerns regarding towels. Towels! Caris took action and removed her towels and laundry out of her room and made sure mom felt better. Mom thinks she can do more than she really can. I was concerned because my mom was trying to get herself to the bathroom without help. I watched her as she tried to transfer from her bed to her wheelchair without making sure the wheels were locked on her chair. They weren't. I realized that my mom needs more help and I met Cary, another staff member as I was leaving and told her. I feel very confident that my mom is in a caring, safe place. My mom is the matriarch of our family. She is irreplaceable. I am so glad she is part of the Willowick family. Thank you everyone who works with my mom. You are the reason I can sleep at night.

My mother stayed there when she broke her ankle and the staff was phenomenal! She was well taken care, made a lot of friends she still talks to and due to her excellent care she healed quite well for her age.

Its one big community and it takes all parts to go around. The families, people who live in the buildings, and the employees naturally create a family oriented environment. Every time Ive walked through any of the communities I was in awe and so were the families and prospective residents. Its affordable, local, and well thought out. Willowick is honestly the reason I cant wait to live in assisted living when Im older.

Our parents moved into the new Willowick II at 2240 Cranston Road in Beloit, WI on February 28th of this year. This was right before the COVID-19 lockdown. The transition to an assisted living after living in their home for 62 years went better then we ever could have imagined. First, we give God the glory because he brought Willowick II to us. The staff at Willowick II have gone over and above to help our parents and our family. The staff provide excellent care, fun activities, healthy meals and physical and emotional support. They are always willing to help and are efficient to stay abreast of our parents needs. The staff have made Willowick II feel like home away from home for our parents. Our parents have grown very close to the staff and feel very safe at Willowick II. A big shout out to Tammy, Elisha, Emily, Desiree, Colton, Gladys, Nicole, Melinda, Jessica, the cleaning crew and the chefs. If I have missed anyone I apologize! Thank you!!

The building is pleasantly decorated inside and carefully designed throughout. The community is small enough to feel like a large family but large enough to give residents the opportunity to flourish and live comfortably and freely on their own. The owners live locally, are very involved and they are exceptional individuals.

Owned by very intelligent and caring individuals. They treat residents with respect and dignity. Staff are also well respected and the community is beautiful. Everyone is always happy. They certainly do deliver on the everyday Wow experience. I would place my loved ones there and would strongly recommend this community.
